nice picks! i managed to snag five live yardbirds and sonic youth RSD releases but missed out on amboy dukes. but then i found an OG amboy dukes so i guess that’s 3 for 3?
Thanks! And I saw your post -- great haul for your first RSD! I was keeping an eye out of the Yardbirds myself but I didn't see that where I was. How did you enjoy the experience? Was there a big crowd by you? The line at my store weaved up and down literally every aisle so it took us like an hour to check out lol. But it was fun.
Hey howdy hello, just found your channel! Putting this in the massive RSD hauls playlist, I'm a new sub now so I'll be back, keep on groovin your way. -mark
i would have leapt at the blind faith and the clapton. well done. i would have also wanted that blind faith cover: in the uk you still see the original which i find distasteful and it's back story is even worse. I didn't get out for RSD but i did get the white album ( giles martin) a few days ago. it's a rite of passage yes?
My #1 want was the live Wall of Voodoo. The mark up on those Wall of Voodoo records is crazy. The list price was $29.99. Nice letter opener by the way.
Yeah that was a brutal mark up. I might have been able to find them somewhere else at a better price, but I picked the one record store that I was sure would carry them. Did you get a copy? Or anything else on RSD?
@@vinylrichie007 I'm surprised @playthatpodcast paid so much for the WOV Live album. I'm not a RSD person but I walked into Jackpot Records the day after RSD and bought it for $29.99. Excellent record, but thirty bucks is already a little spendy for it.
No, that project/channel is complete. I do plan on recording some movie-related content on THIS channel, but I will not be making any more episodes of that show. If you're interested, check out my interviews with Austin Trunick (on this channel) -- we talk about Cannon Films and some of the movies they made in the '80s. I plan to make more content like that in the future. I don't know if you've seen that, but maybe you'll enjoy it. Either way, thanks for asking.

Nice pickup! I wish the White Album had been in that discounted bin I had looked through. That's one I am still missing from my collection.

@@PlayThatPodcast I order the live album from Jackpot Records. It arrived today. I’ll most likely do s video tomorrow.
It sounds great.

Will you ever do another b movie rollout?
