I have a severe fear of mushrooms (which oddly includes the cartoon ones). While I was playing Minecraft I fell into a small cave that was packed with mushrooms and I physically could not move and I had to get my sister to get my character out. The long, elongated mushrooms are the worse.
I have one relating to Minecraft as well. I cannot go into the Minecraft swamp biome because of my Thalassophobia. The moment I fall into one of the little water hole thingies I feel like I’m going to get dragged down by something, it’s terrifying. Same with the underwater caves, can’t do it.
Top 5 Fears/Uncomfortable Situations 1. Birds (fine with them at a distance, but not up close, and it's only applied to large ones). 2. Getting lost in a creepy location. 3. Being in the countryside alone. 4. Being alone with a stranger. 5. Driving in a storm, especially at night. In case you can't tell, I love horror media.
I used to have a fear of sudden very loud noises, like rock concerts, cars that have exhausts that go bang, and even balloons of all things, I got over balloons by popping them underneath my very feet!!! ( I was 8 so I thought I was being a badass) but nobody knew and they found out when I walked into the room with the balloons like I was a hunter with my latest kill. Now i'm completely different, I've gone to multiple concerts and I love car shows (even with loud exhausts) and I'm now invincible!! That being said if you manage to make me jump I'll let out a voice cracky yell and then burst out laughing. Also I COMPLETELY understand your fear of spiders I HATE THE DAMN THINGS sometimes if me and I spider are in the same room, IT'S GONNA DIE!!!
Also, as a youngster I was scared of stereotypical teenagers, the kind that use spray paint and wear hoodies and other "youth activities"such as modify cars and do donuts in car parks (parking lots) , as I got older and became a teen myself, I realised it was all completely fake, and I think was imprinted onto me by the media and a want to "follow the rules" and be a good boy, but as I got older and became a teen myself I realised that what I was so scared of was actually kinda fun! (except the spray paint thing, screw that) I've modified my car and even started using hoodies, and guess what? my Parents don't hate me!!
The needles fear is SO REAL. I've always had a hard time when I need to get shots/blood drawn. This one time, I even nearly FAINTED when the doctors took my blood. It's not like the needle even hurt that much, but all my fear and worrying got me worked up about it. I apparently had to get my blood drawn or a shot or something almost every day for a little bit when I was a baby, but idk if that could have caused my fear since I don't remember it. I also have a fear of complete silence. I don't entirely know why it freaks me out, but having a bunch of younger siblings definitely leaves few times for quiet... just, whenever it's *completely* and *totally* quiet, it feels like the silence grows louder, which doesn't make sense, but it's the best way I can think to describe it. I always make sure I have something with me for background noise whenever I go on trips.
My sister fainted like twice when I was (because of needles) there and only then did I know why people always animated sick people as like green blue or just completely white
I can relate to the fear of silence, it was worse for me when I was younger but even now I feel uneasy when in complete silence. And I also get what you mean by the silence getting louder, for me it sounds like a very quiet high pitched humming. This noise of the silence is always extra uncomfortable for me when I'm laying in bed at night and looking at the darker spots in my room my vision kinda looks like static (idk if this is normal or just a me thing). This combined with the quiet humming always made me feel like I was drifting away from this world into nothingness. Other times this saticy vision would make it look like things in my room were moving.
I can understand the fear of needles, even though I'm not really that scared of them, whenever I have to get a shot or something, I still always get nervous and my hands get sweaty.
I’ve also got a weird reaction to just looking up at tall buildings. I’m not afraid of heights either, and for me it’s not existential or anything. I just feel a pit in my stomach and get very uneasy, but I wouldn’t call it a fear for me. A full-on phobia I have is the fear of someone getting into my house/trying to get into my house. I’m not sure why I have it, but it’s probably loosely related to my childhood home getting broken into while I was at school and my parents were at work. But even after it happened I didn’t have the phobia, it for some reason only came up around 5-6 years later when I was in middle school.
You say it’s a phobia but I think that’s a very rational fear to have lol I’ve never had that happen to me, but I know it sucks and I’m sorry you had that happen to you. 😞
The paranoia that comes with socializing is one i really relate to. It isn't as intense but there's always this sinking feeling of isolation no matter how close i try to get to ppl. It's rly odd and sometimes i wish i didn't need to socialize in order to avoid the conflict of "I wanna be noticed" but "I don't like ppl" Also, I do wanna work on being more tolerant of ppl with what i'd perceive as silly phobias, as they deserve more love n hugs. Great video! I hope you're able to get help for your social related fears.
The fear of looking up is so real. Also being chased, whenever I hear someone running towards me I run for a short amount of time before, not actually running out of energy, but deciding I will and running into a wall or a falling down. …needless to say I’m a fainting goat at heart.
I can understand the mirrors, for me i just look uncanny to myself. It feels like it might delay and that its not me, or something about it just looks wrong. Same with newer photos of myself, they all just look like there is something wrong with them but i just cant figure put what, it feels like its not me Edit: I'm also afraid of cars, specifically driving. It's just scary to me that we ride in fast death traps that when crashed commonly have lower survival rates, also because I nearly crashed a gulf cart once because I accidentally pressed the pedal too hard when me and my grandfather were reversing. this happened about 6 months ago, I'm too young to get a license btw
You've quickly become my comfort UA-camr Also I have monophobia which means I'm scared of being alone. It varies in intensity and there's different reasons why depending on the situation
I completely I forgot about this but I hated having the windows seeing through when I was younger. I had to keep all of them covered in my apartment because I always thought someone was just staring at me. Luckily I got over this fear and I like the light shining through into my room.
As someone who loves the blood pressure finger thing, yikes.. I love it cuz I feel nothing. But if I got pierced with a contraption they labeled as that, I sure as heck would endure trauma as I do fear needles and can not get a blood draw without numbing spray.
i don't have a fear of looking up, but i do have "alice in wonderland syndrome" which makes things feel very distorted at times, and a lot of the time i feel bigger or smaller than i normally am, or things around me look farther away/closer than they are
Any bug will make me want to die. During the summer lots of flies get in the house, and I get terrified to be around them. I even go so far some days to just spend the day outside to avoid them. I think it came from the time when a spider crawled into my cup when I was around 5 or 6, and I nearly drank it. I can’t handle being around any bugs anymore.
My fear of bugs came from one time when i was a kid, i was trying to sleep and a fly flew directly into my ear and got stuck. So yeah....after that, i slept with my ears coved by a blanket or with ear buds in ever since.
Very Spoopy My thoughts on each of your fears - Needles/Sharp Objects- very understandable. I have a physical feeling of discomfort everytime I am faced with a shot. I also cover my eyes whenever I do bloodwork - Bugs- Understandable. The bugs that creep me out the most are crickets/katydids/grasshoppers because of their faces, they bite, and they fly, and they're pretty big - Looking UP at buildings- i think this may be more insecurity than anything else. You should love yourself NOW - Social Anxiety- Very understandable given what you've been through - Looking at yourself- Can't comment on this one - Chase sequences- As someone who recently had a nightmare about this, I understand.
honestly, ya... i agree with you fully on the first one, i dont fear bugs, and I dont hate them but still dont really like... All... of them. heights just make me nervous and queasy; looking down and knowing the smallest mishap could end my story. and I 50/50 the socializing thing too and to end it off... being chased; I like and dont like it, it all just depends on whos running after me. all I can say is... I fear deep waters, scary...
I have the fear of everything being black and dark. I also have the irrational fear that any structure will break while I'm on it while being suspended. So I can understand something that can be stupid as a fear.
Bruh I decided to have a movie marathon with the shining, all the Terrifier movies and all the hack and slash. Any way I have convinced my self they are all waiting out side my room and I DO NOT WANT TO SEE that lady watching me as I take a shit I swear I am tripping
I have ADHD and autism, and if I have to be honest, I am not afraid of death, insects, the unknown, or needles and Monsters, but I am afraid that I am not a good person and that when I do my best it's not enough and I'm afraid to be alone, and not like alone in a spooky forest more like alone that nobody is there for me, as I try my best to be positive and honest for others but I fear that I'm not, so I guess it's more self-esteem and worth that keeps me up at night...
I consider myself to be fine with bugs and creepy crawlers, even tolerating them when they break the sacred rule of ‘Stay off of the bed’. What I don’t like is those multi legged mfs crawling on me. I constantly feel like bugs are crawling on me even when there’s nothing there and I hate it
The fear of bugs and looking up is so fucking real. I will cry if a bug touches me. Not really a fear but I will go insane and start moving around like crazy if any form of a substance I don’t know touches me I can’t wash dishes without like 20 pair of gloves because of it
Omg I have all of these but hearing that you are scared of looking up reminded me of something: I'm terrified of looking up. Not in general, but SPECIFICALLY on days where the sky is either completely white or gray, or when it's pitch black. I just feel like I'm going to fall off of the face of the earth and not be able to get back, y'know?
(Sorry if it's too long) At 10:30, I understand what you mean-I experience a strong survival instinct that I find uncomfortable. 😅 I also have hydrophobia, which is the fear of breaking glass and the sound it makes. My sister has endangered me several times by throwing glass cups at me, making this a significant issue in my life. Now, when I hear glass breaking, I either quickly move away, confront my emotions head-on, or briefly freeze in response. I love all kinds of bugs. While what you said about wanting to burn your house down if there were bugs inside was funny, it also made me feel bad. I don't understand why people fear them, as I have bugs that I adore. 😅
7:35 oh my god yes. i can feel a tiny bit at large heights but it’s more of a “fun” fear because it interests me i grew up in a more rural place and. wind turbines. oh my god they’re horrifying. i can take pain, i can take bugs, all that without flinching an eye. but that.. thing. it scares me.
I have a fear of specifically bees and wasps just anything with stingers. It doesn't help that wasps are assholes (yes I know they play an important part in the ecosystem but they're still assholes) Also I am specifically very creeped out by daddy long legs or creatures that look like them. I know they're pretty harmless but just how they look always makes me feel uneasy. Also I can 100% relate to that story about a bug buzzing straight into your ear freaking you out (probably also related to my autism)
Me personally I am scared shitless of the dentist. This is because when I was young, and whenever we went to the dentist, I never knew what to expect because they would always lie to me and never tell me if I was just getting a cleaning or filling
I am deathly afraid vomit and sickness. Even someone saying the words "food poisoning" when talking about something i have ate, I will go into a full blown panic attack, start hyperventilating and bawling my eyes out. I can't think of all of them, but there all pretty weird
I don’t really wanna say this, but one of my worst fears is not being good enough for others or messing things up (which I do often) I’m socially anxious, and I just want to be good enough for people, even though I know it doesn’t matter
My biggest fear is dementia. It is not something I normally have to experience but it is still something that effects me. I don't want to grow old because of this, and fear aging due to ths possibility of getting dementia. It is starting to appear in my family members, and I am not handling it so well. Even death doesn't seem so bad in comparison. How does it compete with the natural fear of death!? I don't know it just does! Like imagine it like this: you spend decades learning and making memories with loved ones, ones you see as unforgettable. But then they are just gone one day. I find it more impactful to loved ones then the person with dementia themselves since they have to pretend that those memories aren't real when around them. This is what keeps me up at night sometimes.
The fear of long words is called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. It's also known as sesquipedalophobia, which is a Latin term that means "long word". I HAVEN'T FELT SO TREBLE FOR LANGUAGE SO MUCH! I need to be better...
im just scared of needles i dont know why but sharp objects scare me im fine with fights and stuff or whatever its just needles really really freak me out
I don’t have most of the standard fears, infact my favourite animals are bats and praying mantises but what sends me running is GOD DAMN CHALK, THE SOUND THE TEXTURE UGHGHSHH - perhaps it’s the asd?
When I was a kid, I didn't like looking up at the sky without having the ground at least in my peripheral vision. I always got scared that I would start falling upwards into the sky. Come to find out years later that this fear was a feature in an HP Lovecraft story.
"What do you guys fear?" I have a completely random megalophobia; being afraid of anything from looking up at the night sky (actually, even just looking directly up at the sky during daylight), walking through very open fields, to seeing pictures of planets, satelite images. Looking up at tall buildings, or being very high up also triggers the same fear, just anything big really. Had to force myself through geography class due to the amount of usage of google earth and diagrams of mountains, large rivers and such, which actually kind of helped me, however any progress during that class is just gone now. Very annoying fear, 1/10
im with you with the anti-social behavior, whenever im infront of people something embarrassing for me goes down so i prefer to just avoid people irl if possible sometimes, online though i got no issues, awesome vid
i have a very intense fear of the dark. not of the darkness itself, but rather what could be hiding in it. when i have to get up in the middle of the night for something, i always feel like something's following me.
You are not alone in the fear of looking up at tall buildings. As someone who is also scared of heights, my fear may stem from that, but looking up in cities or any other tall structures makes me dizzy.
I had a really intense fear of bugs but recently its gotten better due to the fact that I now live in a place that is prone to bugs and creepy crawlies coming in often. Usually its only skinny little spiders that dont cause much disturbance but if a cricket dares to set foot in my room its on site.
I also have a fear of looking up at tall buildings, but for a different reason. It's more of a fear of vertigo, because I get the feeling I'm gonna start floating up and can't do anything.
The fear of looking up at tall flag poles ,buildings, pillars, ect. I feel like I'm falling through the floor. And stink bugs are the worst out of any insect...... they always be attacking me.🥲
I also don't like mirror but it's different, more like a fear of time just specifically for mirrors. It was going away at some point, but then some day I was laughing, I went into the bathroom and I completely forgot everything that happened in the day before I looked in the mirror. I couldn't remember what I was laughing at, I was just looking in the mirror and went through a mini ego death.
fear has always been an odd thing for me. generally speaking, i only have a phobia for bees and wasps. any other insect or animal, i am fine with. also the fact that i dont recognize unsafe situations. in the past, there were certain things i was afraid of. things like fire, the supernatural and volcanos. had many nightmares of volcanos and fires in the past. but for some reason, the things i used to fear became obsessions. i became obsessed with fire, volcanos and the supernatural when i got older, and i find it highly fascinating to watch a bee or wasp removal or watch a beekeeper work with their bees. even if he buzzing sends shivers down my spine.
Okay, but the tall building one is so relatable, it feels like the ground drops away from you feet! I do not understand the bug one though (no offense, I just really love bugs for some reason) but I admire the fact that you don’t kill them and just run away.
I think of all of them, the one about looking up could be explained as simply coming to terms with we are all just a fleeting moment in time and realizing that also makes you realize your own mortality. It's understandable imo, it's just accepting life isn't forever
The fear of tall things and looking at ginormous stuff that makes you feel small is megalaphobia, I also have the fear of being chased that is scariest thing ever for me
I don't like at all not knowing what is around me, so I'm terrified of darkness and I hate beeing alone, not because I feel lonely, but because I feel I'm not (sometimes I'll start seeing shit in the shadows), even in my own house with my parents and sister in other rooms. The ironic thing is that I crave lonliness so I can get to work on studing or on personal projects without someones presence.
I hate being called an materialistic person but I have this huge phobia about losing my stuff. Like I'd be going over a bridge and think that my body might do something out of my control and throw my stuff never to be seen again. It's probably from back when I lost that toy story bread box in an nearby river due to my brother.
9:24 I also feel the same way! But a little different too. My mind pictures myself as a cartoony character (weird I know.) so everytime I look in a mirror I’m reminded that I’ll never be something I want to be even if I change my hair color, clothes, or overall look. It won’t be like what my imagination makes me look like. If I ever talk to my parents about it they will probably shrug it off or send me to therapy.
As an entemophobe myself, I get it. Like, I despise any and all bugs save for maybe, I think, three. I've been getting better with it, but if I see a bug in my space, I either freeze or I immediately contemplate and execute my plan to MERC IT ON SIGHT.
I was luckily born with not really any outside fears, I adore bugs (i pick them up whenever i can), im fine with heights both up and down, and being chased/adrenaline is SUCH a satisfying feeling for me. Despite that I do have pretty bad social fears, I have a really really difficult time making friends, and used to have body dysmorphia (it felt more like seeing a random stranger I dont know standing where I should be standing and was really uncomfortable and uncanny), but that has gotten a bit better after letting my hair grow out. My by far biggest fear is being forgotten about or left behind, the feeling of wanting to be friends with someone because they are fun to be around but not knowing how to communicate or hold a conversation is so shitty.
Interestingly enough, I enjoy looking up at large structures, it feels me with awe of such incredible constructions, and I like something being taller than me.
I might not have the fear of big building but I do have the phobia of heights, depths, and big oceans. Like everytime when I look up or down depending where I am at, it usually tickles the part of my brain to get back.
I THOUGHT I WAS WEIRD FOR BEING AFRAID OF BEING CHASED!!! I STILL AM, I CANNOT PLAY TAG OR HIDE AND SEEK IN REAL LIFE FOR THE LIFE OF ME. it stresses me out WAY too much, i always feel this sense of dread like if they catch me something horrible is gonna happen, which also plays into overthinking/intrusive thoughts in a way but im just like that
I had a slight fear of needles at one point, but for some weird reason when I worked in pathology for a time, coming out of that knowing the other side it was somehow fine to be on the receiving end of needles.
I'm terrified of Arachnids and Small Spaces, Arachnophobia is one of my worst ones, once i saw a spider in the laundry basket, i was out of there immediately, Claustrophobia is my 2nd worst as i feel the walls closing in and crushing me as i enter small spaces which makes me feel like my heart stopped, Sleep Paralysis is another thing as if you woke up paralyzed and you're close to being a victim to a damn monster that only you can see and feel until you fully awaken, and finally i can relate to the Fears Of Anxiety
Back in last summer a HUGE moth flew in from my open sky light window and made this horrifying buzzing sound. It sounded like a bee... but louder. it looked like a moth but im still not sure if it was. i don't think i have a fear of bugs well at least not small ones but im cool with bugs at the most part.
I never found bugs to be scary, BUT I've always had a fear of mold. Even just briefly looking at it makes me nervous.
Honestly that might just be survival instincts

I fear needles because when i get my blood taken out for physical checks, MY VEINS ARE SO HARD TO FIND. LIKE AGHHHH HHHH I hate them i hate them sm
@@M3LANYISH3R3
Oh yeah, I HATE when that happens
I can relate to the fear of silence, it was worse for me when I was younger but even now I feel uneasy when in complete silence. And I also get what you mean by the silence getting louder, for me it sounds like a very quiet high pitched humming.
This noise of the silence is always extra uncomfortable for me when I'm laying in bed at night and looking at the darker spots in my room my vision kinda looks like static (idk if this is normal or just a me thing). This combined with the quiet humming always made me feel like I was drifting away from this world into nothingness. Other times this saticy vision would make it look like things in my room were moving.
@TheCubifyer
Yup yup yup that's pretty much how it is for me, too
I can understand the fear of needles, even though I'm not really that scared of them, whenever I have to get a shot or something, I still always get nervous and my hands get sweaty.
same
I’ve also got a weird reaction to just looking up at tall buildings.
Some studies suggest that trama can be delayed a few years until showing symptoms or effects
You say it’s a phobia but I think that’s a very rational fear to have lol
I’ve never had that happen to me, but I know it sucks and I’m sorry you had that happen to you. 😞
The paranoia that comes with socializing is one i really relate to. It isn't as intense but there's always this sinking feeling of isolation no matter how close i try to get to ppl. It's rly odd and sometimes i wish i didn't need to socialize in order to avoid the conflict of "I wanna be noticed" but "I don't like ppl"
Also, I do wanna work on being more tolerant of ppl with what i'd perceive as silly phobias, as they deserve more love n hugs.
Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks, will do!
@@theintrovertedcartoonist2002 Sometimes talking can really help you.
Dude, the fear of being "that guy" in a room is the worst
7:21 It's called Megalophobia. I have it too :(
Me to :(
I HATE going into any deep water. If it's like the shore at the sea or a shallow pool I'm okay, but just going deep into water scares me.
Yes! Another great video! I met your Channel about a month ago, and i already fell in love with the content you've been creating.
I can understand the mirrors, for me i just look uncanny to myself. It feels like it might delay and that its not me, or something about it just looks wrong. Same with newer photos of myself, they all just look like there is something wrong with them but i just cant figure put what, it feels like its not me
Edit: I'm also afraid of cars, specifically driving.
You've quickly become my comfort UA-camr
Also I have monophobia which means I'm scared of being alone. It varies in intensity and there's different reasons why depending on the situation
Weirdest fear I have right now is getting too close to balloons.
That makes me think of sea mines from finding Nemo
@@danielstokes2127 lmao
I the sound of them popping. It’s so much worse when you’re right next to them.
I feel you as a fellow college student and I would say I have thalassophobia. I'm not big on swimming or exploring depths when I could be on land
Two places you never find me: near any deep body of water or in any sort of cave!
I completely I forgot about this but I hated having the windows seeing through when I was younger. I had to keep all of them covered in my apartment because I always thought someone was just staring at me. Luckily I got over this fear and I like the light shining through into my room.
im just glad that someone is also intimadated by tall bildings
As someone who loves the blood pressure finger thing, yikes.. I love it cuz I feel nothing. But if I got pierced with a contraption they labeled as that, I sure as heck would endure trauma as I do fear needles and can not get a blood draw without numbing spray.
Social Anxiety sucks girl. I completely understand how you feel. Just know that you’re not alone. Just stay strong 👍
4:16 I hate bugs but idk I like spiders I have held a tarantula before
i don't have a fear of looking up, but i do have "alice in wonderland syndrome" which makes things feel very distorted at times, and a lot of the time i feel bigger or smaller than i normally am, or things around me look farther away/closer than they are
I remember that happening to me a few times if something woke me up.
This is too relatable. I have ever one of these fears.
Thankfully I don't have phobias as bad as that, but I do have a couple stupid ones, like toilets flushing, and see-through flooring
My fear of bugs came from one time when i was a kid, i was trying to sleep and a fly flew directly into my ear and got stuck. So yeah....after that, i slept with my ears coved by a blanket or with ear buds in ever since.
Very Spoopy
My thoughts on each of your fears
- Needles/Sharp Objects- very understandable. I have a physical feeling of discomfort everytime I am faced with a shot. I also cover my eyes whenever I do bloodwork
- Bugs- Understandable. The bugs that creep me out the most are crickets/katydids/grasshoppers because of their faces, they bite, and they fly, and they're pretty big
- Looking UP at buildings- i think this may be more insecurity than anything else. You should love yourself NOW
- Social Anxiety- Very understandable given what you've been through
- Looking at yourself- Can't comment on this one
- Chase sequences- As someone who recently had a nightmare about this, I understand.
honestly, ya... i agree with you fully on the first one, i dont fear bugs, and I dont hate them but still dont really like... All... of them.
heights just make me nervous and queasy; looking down and knowing the smallest mishap could end my story.
and I 50/50 the socializing thing too and to end it off... being chased; I like and dont like it, it all just depends on whos running after me.
all I can say is...
Any way I have convinced my self they are all waiting out side my room and I DO NOT WANT TO SEE that lady watching me as I take a shit I swear I am tripping
btw i love cats ty for giving us the opportunity to meet stella the cat 😌
I constantly feel like bugs are crawling on me even when there’s nothing there and I hate it
Spiders, I have a debilitating fear of spiders. Genuinely most likely a phobia but istg i hate them so much, i will cry if one is near me.
I have almost no fears. I only fear death. Going into an uncomfortable situation, I keep my mindset as "Eh. I could beat them in a fight." Lol
The fear of bugs and looking up is so fucking real. I will cry if a bug touches me.
Not really a fear but I will go insane and start moving around like crazy if any form of a substance I don’t know touches me I can’t wash dishes without like 20 pair of gloves because of it
7:26 the phobia name is either acrophobia or megalophobia luv u
Omg I have all of these but hearing that you are scared of looking up reminded me of something: I'm terrified of looking up. Not in general, but SPECIFICALLY on days where the sky is either completely white or gray, or when it's pitch black. I just feel like I'm going to fall off of the face of the earth and not be able to get back, y'know?
The fear of looking up at tall things is called acrophobia or hypsophobia. I didn’t know this either. The more you know 🌈
(Sorry if it's too long)
At 10:30, I understand what you mean-I experience a strong survival instinct that I find uncomfortable. 😅
I also have hydrophobia, which is the fear of breaking glass and the sound it makes.
Yayyyy another storytime video from the nice lady with the pretty voice :D
Time to procrastinate my schoolwork while I watch this lol
7:35 oh my god yes. i can feel a tiny bit at large heights but it’s more of a “fun” fear because it interests me
i grew up in a more rural place and. wind turbines. oh my god they’re horrifying.
i can take pain, i can take bugs, all that without flinching an eye. but that.. thing. it scares me.
I have a fear of specifically bees and wasps just anything with stingers. It doesn't help that wasps are assholes (yes I know they play an important part in the ecosystem but they're still assholes)
Also I am specifically very creeped out by daddy long legs or creatures that look like them.
I relate broski,youre not alone...
I’ve gotten somewhat over my fear of bugs, they still creep me out a little. Crabs thought scare the shit out of me and make me avoid the beach.
All fun and games until “The Introverted Cartoonist” becomes “The Extroverted Cartoonist”.
I don’t really wanna say this, but one of my worst fears is not being good enough for others or messing things up (which I do often)
I’m socially anxious, and I just want to be good enough for people, even though I know it doesn’t matter
I need to be better...
im just scared of needles i dont know why but sharp objects scare me im fine with fights and stuff or whatever its just needles really really freak me out
Actually I find looking up to be honestly scary too? Maybe it makes me feel small and significant but also knowing something could perhaps fall on me?
I don’t have most of the standard fears, infact my favourite animals are bats and praying mantises but what sends me running is GOD DAMN CHALK, THE SOUND THE TEXTURE UGHGHSHH - perhaps it’s the asd?
When I was a kid, I didn't like looking up at the sky without having the ground at least in my peripheral vision. I always got scared that I would start falling upwards into the sky.
Come to find out years later that this fear was a feature in an HP Lovecraft story.
I fear being alone, as well as not seeing my environment. Like I get dizzy sometimes if I cannot see where I am, so I hate being in tents.
Very annoying fear, 1/10
the way i broke my phobia of bugs is literally by pretending i wasnt scared of them and for some reason it worked
im with you with the anti-social behavior, whenever im infront of people something embarrassing for me goes down so i prefer to just avoid people irl if possible sometimes, online though i got no issues, awesome vid
6:40 is the whater wraith from pikmin 2-4 its a nice franchise
People who say “why does it have boobs?” Just the thought of it sends a chill down my spine, and apples.
i have a very intense fear of the dark. not of the darkness itself, but rather what could be hiding in it. when i have to get up in the middle of the night for something, i always feel like something's following me.
9:48 I am NOT photogenic at all. I look awkward in almost any picture i’m in, so I relate to this a lot.
The fear of looking up at tall flag poles ,buildings, pillars, ect. I feel like I'm falling through the floor. And stink bugs are the worst out of any insect...... they always be attacking me.🥲
Oh and I have really bad social anxiety!
I have an extreme fear of gore, blood, or just slightly more extreme injuries. They cause me so much pain to see.
I used to have a very large fear of spiders, but i feel as if i might be growing out of it. (Im still not okay with spiders in my house though)
The fear of tall things and looking at ginormous stuff that makes you feel small is megalaphobia, I also have the fear of being chased that is scariest thing ever for me
Holy shit! I have the same fear with tall buildings! It makes me feel heavy, as if I'm being crushed by it's sheer aura.
And I also still have that lifelong unfulfilled sidequest of finding that buzz Lightyear lego fig.
