It is sad that Nintendo discontinued the 3DS line-up. I think this is the best portable ever, that even hackers are starting to make N64 emulation possible!
It's even worse when you consider Nintendo has likely gotten rid of the spare parts for storage reasons. As someone who now has a broken rubber cap on the circle pad (which is a necessity for me) I have had to look a lot just to find a proper, Nintendo official, non-ripoff replacement, and I still need to replace the actual circle pad by taking my New 3DS XL apart to re-install it. I am glad I have a tech genius as a cousin who is far from as twitchy as me, and for all the tutorials on repairing your own 3DS. It will still be scary, though, since it is the only one I have aside from a very old, first to third generation, original 3DS XL that has a LOT of jank to be playable for extended periods of time. Doesn't help it was somehow exposed to weak magnets, has drift issues because of disuse, and a garbage battery life. Wish me luck in repairing my New 3DS XL. I truly hope it goes well, since the 3DS I have is limited edition, and could go for thousands of dollars USD.

@@humorouswizard the fact that you can play new super mario bros ds and super mario 64DS on 3ds is amazing
@@humorouswizard Also the number one best is the switch. Too bad they pay for online play, lol.
@@medicgaming101 I think the 3DS is the best handheld. Best battery life. Great games. Virtual console. Can play most (if not all) DS games. And the games that are on it are amazing and at a good price most of the time.
@@humorouswizard i think it plays all games, also you don’t pay to play online on 3ds, and you can still play online and use streetpass in some regions, it’s great but we need miiverse back even though both wii u and 3ds are discontinued, nintendo messed up there lol
"How the Nintendo 3DS is mind-blowing"
*NB: "Displays 2ds"*
they come from the same family of 3ds consoles.
Get your facts straight sonny
@@boogiegames2367 yes but the its NOT a 3DS ist still a 2DS
@@auntychrist6871 a 2ds is naturally considered as 3ds bruh. ive lived with these dual screen consoles since i was 6 so i know what im talking about.
@@boogiegames2367 it isnt a 2ds can not go 3d or flip the screen down. They are diffrent things even tho they look the same like let's say u have a twin there a diffrent person ur not the same person and just cause you "have been living with them since u were 6" doesnt mean u know everything who knows maybe u were 7 when u wrote the comment
@@funtimesylas1 then why does nintendo call it "part of the 3ds family"? huh?
