The 3DS was actually one of the better new Nintendo consoles, but some of the side things you get like Swapnote and AR Cards were stupid. The games were awesome though.
I do, and man Nintendo video had some of the most random crap on it, Cartoon Conspiracies, Meat or die, Dinosaur office, I even remember there being an adult cartoon on there, forget the name, they really let almost anything on there.

That happened to my New 3ds and I lost the piece so I had to take the rubber piece from my broken 3ds and put it on, as well as use double sided tape to hold it in place because it's slightly too small.

@arockk124 Yeah the 3D effect was really painful for the eyes. The only time it might have come in handy was in 3D Land with those "3D Levels" in the clouds which have those platforms placed at weird places, pretty much the only useful purpose of the 3D.
at the age of 8, after discovering my 3DS has AR cards hidden in the manuel, I could not stop playing the AR games. I would search on UA-cam for all of the AR card tricks like putting an AR card on a red surface during the fishing game (You catch Cheep Cheeps). It would be super nostalgic to go back and play those mini games! The times!

3:58 if you install custom firmware you can download the DSi version of Pictochat and install it as a DSiWare game 4:13 I'm probably not the first person to point this out, but there actually is. The box on the top screen with the game's icon slowly fills up with orange. If you opt to Download Later and try to launch the game from the homescreen before it's done, you get an honest to goodness progress bar. 5:16 there's no way as far as I know for a device to distinguish automatically between a full size SD card and a microSD card in a microSD to full size adapter.
3:16 that's because the nes games had a feature where you could swap players with L+R+Y. Since Snes games used L and R already, they had to change to ZL+ZR+Y
The 3DS is my favorite gaming system of all time. No really, especially if you hack it and have a R4 around... If you hack it, you can play almost (if not any): - NES - SNES -PS1 -GB -GBC - Virtual Boy -GBA (either natively or actually emulated) - DS - DSi - Master System - Sega Genesis/Mega Drive - Neo Geo - And even FREAKING Windows 98! The 3DS also has a camera, that supports 3D, if used right, any photo can look very beautiful and detailed. And don´t make me start with Nintendo 3DS Sound and the Web Browser, they definitely upgraded the DSi versions a lot.
Phantom Drags: Besides emulators? Unlike the Switch, the 3DS actually supports GBA, DS and DSi natively. I´m glad there has never been a 3DS game that uses these processors too. By the way, I have both, the 3DS and the Switch, but I personally prefer that 3DS more.

I have a new 3DS XL and I love it. Although I didn’t already have an XL and my hands are huge so that probably played a big part in it. (Also the face tracking 3D actually got me to use 3D more)
The only things you can't play are Xenoblade 3D and (perpetually, as it runs at 10 FPS on an old 3DS) Hyrule Warriors Legends. Still would get one but don't replace an old one with a new one.
Idk if anyone played fifa 12 on the 3ds but the opening effect with the ball coming out was so good, that I used it to jumpscare my mum on multiple occasions.

Actually, you can tell how long it's going to take to download stuff from the eShop because the icon on the top screen shows how much of the download is done, and downloading it from the HOME Menu shows a progress bar and a percentage.

And don't tell me about "Oh, it's designed to reduce costs" because by 2011, you could get phones/tablets with a minimum resolution of 800x480 that cost the same! How the 3DS is Mind Blowing: The 3DS is such a good console, that there's an entire 3DS Family created by Nintendo! The 3DS is only $200! And the New 2DS XL is $50 cheaper! All of the games that would normally be $60 are now only $40! Thank you, Nintendo! Games are STILL coming out on these systems in 2019! The battery life is great, and it's greatly improved when a DSi games is being played! Also, this system can play DSi games, which was inspired by the Wii and Wii U! Even though there's not much new Virtual Console titles, it's still nice to see the Virtual Console return. The Newer models fixed the original models' biggest problem; not having an NFC Reader! $30 saved for me! While I admit the graphics aren't that close to being H.D. (yet), it definitely looks good when you don't really focus on it. The A.C. Adapter cords are up to 6' long, and I love that! If you don't want to wait for something to download from the eShop, just press Download Later, and close your 3DS without turning it off, which will activate Sleep Mode and start the download! Even though the 3DS isn't as popular as the Switch, it's still remembered by a lot of people! Even though the 3DS themes cost money, they're very cheap, and they have a ton of special features that are amazing! For example, the Super Mario Odyssey theme plays Jump Up, Super Star! in the background, there are sound effects from the original game, and when you start a game, the capture sound from the original game will play! It's such a special theme for only $2, and I love that! The XL models are bigger that the original models, so they're not as uncomfortable to hold! The 3D works pretty well if your eyes can handle it. You can get Minecraft on the newer models... it doesn't work as well as P.E, Switch Edition, or Xbox One Edition, but it's cool to see it on the New 3DS regardless! Download Play is AMAZING! You can play multiplayer games locally with friends if one of you doesn't have a copy of the game! The New 2DS XL is surprisingly durable and great for careless children!
Most franchises represented have AMAZING games on the console (Pokemon Moon is easily the best Pokemon game and Kirby Triple Deluxe is easily the best Kirby game)
The circle pad is basically an improvement over the original move buttons. Usually, the only thing that triggered me about the 3DS is the battery. It literally keeps dying on me even when I was about to complete a game.
5:13 it's actually asking if you are using a mini SD (in an adapter) which is one of the three types of SD cards but is no longer being made or a regular SD card and it's telling you to select no if you are using a micro SD card in an adapter

I have had my "NEW" 3ds xl for 7 years, (since it came out) and the circle pad is still in great shape.
My 3ds broke last year but the circle pad wasn't damaged at all, had it since 2015. I'd also prefer ps vita over psp

Why? Hacking it unleashes its true potential, the baterry lasts longer, enhanced debugger, can soft-reset at anytime, and much more!
If you get banned, you can literally just unban it, the method depends on the case, but it´s always possible if it´s hacked.

Idk if anyone played fifa 12 on the 3ds but the opening effect with the ball coming out was so good, that I used it to jumpscare my mum on multiple occasions.
Can't think of anything else to comment so I'm just going to post a waffle recipe.
Ingredients
250g Flour (plain)
7g Baking powder
20g Caster sugar
5g Salt
475ml Milk
2 Eggs
30ml Vegetable oil
Method
•Weigh all the dry ingredients, place in a large mixing bowl. Break the eggs into the milk and beat the mixture.
•Add the egg and milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Add the oil and mix all ingredients together until all the large lumps have been broken up. Do not over mix otherwise the waffles will be heavy when cooked.
•Pre heat the waffle maker and spray with oil (1 cal spray works well).
•Pour 3/4 of a cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook for 3-4 mins or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
•Serve hot with maple syrup. Also good served with sliced banana or blueberries.
•Cooked waffles can be frozen and heated up in the toaster. Unused batter mixture can be kept in a container in the fridge for up to 2 days

Actually, you can tell how long it's going to take to download stuff from the eShop because the icon on the top screen shows how much of the download is done, and downloading it from the HOME Menu shows a progress bar and a percentage.

Even though the 3DS themes cost money, they're very cheap, and they have a ton of special features that are amazing! For example, the Super Mario Odyssey theme plays Jump Up, Super Star! in the background, there are sound effects from the original game, and when you start a game, the capture sound from the original game will play! It's such a special theme for only $2, and I love that!
The XL models are bigger that the original models, so they're not as uncomfortable to hold!
The 3D works pretty well if your eyes can handle it.
You can get Minecraft on the newer models... it doesn't work as well as P.E, Switch Edition, or Xbox One Edition, but it's cool to see it on the New 3DS regardless!
Download Play is AMAZING! You can play multiplayer games locally with friends if one of you doesn't have a copy of the game!
The New 2DS XL is surprisingly durable and great for careless children!

The circle pad is basically an improvement over the original move buttons. Usually, the only thing that triggered me about the 3DS is the battery. It literally keeps dying on me even when I was about to complete a game.
