They kind of messed this up
This is one of my top concert moments of all time!
WOW... This is awsome
I'm crying.. this is amazing.
i guess Im pretty off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
@Sullivan Castiel lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it =)
I Love this song so much, but this performance....
this was a fantastic moment . . . what a show
I was there!
Super Sweet! I love it so much thank you for sharin'!~ Only seen THE DEAD once in 03' in Joliet, Il. Openin' act cancled, Dylan plane was late Robert Hunter came out played ripple & Brown eyed woman' acoustic. Beautiful moment My lil' bro & sister n' law were goin' to like 7th row we had bleaches me & my lil' sis. & when I looked back to see Khrissy's face durin' ripple she was cryin' harder than me. We never had much, but we had eachother & the music. However I was turned on to the Grateful Dead later in life than a lot born in 78'. It was Autum of 95' & I was too late to hear the best in concert. But I've been I love with thier harmony; long since only than besides nugs & lil' bro. that can calm me down. So to say that my sister n' law turned me on to the Avett Bro.'s & they have quickly moved to #2 second only to the Grateful Dead and a spot past Trey ( Sorry Trey Nothin' but love. I prefer Trey & Band Over Phish & I love PHISHIN" & many genera's; and decades of GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC blows my mind. I Hope someone can relate.
the dead was not a band in 03 they seized to exist after 95 when jerry died
Graham Strom The Dead was the band the members formed after Jerry died. "The Dead," not the "Grateful Dead."
Ah i learned smtng new...thanks man
howtoplayalone they played as the dead for only a short time, they reunited twice after 95 as the walkers I believe and then as the grateful dead at a reunion dead family thing in the early 2000s. after that they split apart from the band furthur. which was Bobby and Phil, the two remaining string players and vocalists, if Phil counts. that ceased a couple years ago when Bobby passed out on stage. they reunited for five shows in 2005, grateful dead 50, as the grateful dead, using the Phil front man, their old pal Bruce Hornsby on piano and their keys man from further. they enjoyed playing together enough to carry on as dead and company with John Mayer on guitar and oteill bulb Ridge, I butchered his name, covering Phil's spot on bass. who no longer wanted to tour and kept on the keys man. along with Bobby and the ryrhym Devils, the drummers bill kruetzman and mickey Hart. so three of the four living members after Garcia passed are a part of it, you can pretty much count the keys player too, he's the fifth one over 50 years that isn't dead. and it has breathed a whole new life into their counterculture, music and legacy, to many people dead and company is the grateful dead. Bobby tries to fill the Fatmans absence and Jerry would be proud I think. I may have botched a couple facts. Oh yah and they reunited as the grateful dead to play a benefit show for Obama when he ran for reelection. shit man dead is life
Graham Strom that's a reasonable mistake, check em out, the comparison to the avett brothers is pretty cool in some aspects.
BOB WEIR
"How do you like them apples"
Love them apples! Doesn't get better than that...Dead + TAB = awesome!
Ridiculous!
"You like apples? I got her phone number, how do you like them apples?"
some nice guitar work by Bobby
Well this is something. , Having only seen Jerry and Bob do this never mind when, exactly, I mean, (in the 70's..uh, 80's..??. ) and without their rock-who-cares about-a-hit -tune heirs -apparent to The Rock'roll hall of fame. What a trip...
Scott: "We always fuck that up." LOL.
BOB: "We always fuck that up." LOL
Robin Sokol Had to watch it again. You're right! It was Bob that said it. My mistake.
+Michael Boothillier I know it matters for some but it's the funny banter like that that makes live gigs fun to watch
+michael hartman Totally agree! The unscripted moments are part of what makes the live experience so special! I thought it was funny.
Bobs not a fan of others fuckin' up.
Bob also told us at Furthur fest that he hated red rocks...... funny he still plays here so often......
kewl.
Decent!!!
Red Rocks and the Devil is my friend!
how fucking awesome, fucking Bobby Weir. we always fuck that up haha
need more bass just saying
I watched the video before with the pre'show,s behind the scene thing,.. and thought well.....this ls going to be GREAT, to hear, but like he said they are way apart on the spectrum,..and it sounded in my "opinion" ,like someone way way out of tune and the harmony's where ???who knows...but O'well looks like they where having fun , and that's whats its about ............
Get new ears homie
+wwaldo2525 no, he completely correct. Sounded horrible on the avert brother end. It was BAD
Love TAB and TGD. saw them a bunch and with Jerry and sorry but this was terrible. Out of tune and off key. And pretty sure bob not scott said - we always that that up.
Except that’s not Red Rocks. That’s the cave in Tennessee.
Jesus milk the intro... tripe
Im a Dead fan, and I dont like this.
Fizzgig73 it's definitely not very good but it's the respect for Bobby I love. the avett brothers probably wouldn't even have the following without the dead. in my opinion. and that respect is evident. a bunch of good musicians and good dudes I think.
okay. big deal.
god did they stink this song up dreadful singing nonexistent harmony and as always out of tune
Ummm, no. Screechy, chuppy banjo, several instruments out of tune.
Wow, not only was this song not made for banjo but the banjo player is horrible!!!
Unbearable
