I think Susie's soul is yellow, Justice. She doesn't exactly embody that trait quiet yet, but I believe she is slowly changing as a person, to eventually become someone who cares a lot about doing the right thing. She starts as a bully, but by the end of the game she'll be an arbiter of Justice who protects the innocent. Also the heart on her belt is really more of a yellow than an orange. It's probably a play on "jerk with a heart of gold".
I came to that same conclusion in my own investigation too initially. I assumed the belt buckle would be a similar colour to the yellow soul. But if you take the colours from the Undertale and Deltarune sprites, Susie's golden belt buckle is actually shockingly close to the colour of the orange soul! the yellow of the yellow soul, on the other hand, is quite different to the gold of her belt buckle when comparing the colours side by side.

I think Berdly has the Perseverance soul traits. He achieves his goal of being the best through hard work (Even if he needs help from Noelle he couldn't just get good grades because someone helps him, he had to work hard to get them). With his hard work he became the number 1 student in Alphys's class. What everyone seems to miss about Berdly's character is that he has impostor syndrome. He thinks the only reason he achieved that much is just because Noelle helps him. As I said earlier you can't get good grades from just receiving help from someone and pretending to be smart. After all he was smart enough to get the party's comrades together and helped assemble a giant robot to fight Queen. Berdly wears glasses and works as a librarian. With all that said I do think Berdly is one of the best candidates for the purple soul.

Originally, I was disagreeing with this, but I do see an angle where birdly could be the perseverance soul. Because the flag mentions you ‘felt trapped’ and while this could be meaning the character the flag is mentioning is actually trapped and feels that way, if we’re looking at it with birdly in mind then it matches with him feeling trapped by what he thinks others think of him and trying to maintain that with his smart persona. But then we come to the part where I’m unsure. Because if we go back to the flag, the other part of it says “ you took notes and achieved the end of ‘ball’ “ And honestly, that pattern isn’t really shown with birdly the actions he takes in the dark world. Don’t really have him taking notes on anything. His ark in chapter 2 was about letting go of that smart person persona, and that kind of feels like the opposite of taking notes and achieving the end of the game/you. Even if you look at the light world actions there’s not much evidence, sure he works in a library and wears glasses, but I don’t recall birdly saying anything or anyone else saying anything about burley taking notes on classwork. The closest thing I can think of to taking notes would be him telling Kris about Azriel’s incredibly overdue book, but I’m pretty sure that’s the saying it not birdly keeping track and taking notes of it himself.
Ok, I don’t have enough to go off for a full theory, but I have a HUGE hunch (with some evidence) that I think people will be interested in. It’s not necessarily plot important, but there’s a chance it could be used to predict something. Toby Fox conceived the idea for Deltarune before Undertale, but it failed to go anywhere, and decided that if Undertale was successful, he would remake the old game but combine it with elements of Undertale. Now, we don’t know the exact extent of how much of Undertale is in Deltarune, obviously the battle system and many of the characters are from Undertale, but the setting, the lore about determination, the souls, it’s all possible that those were actually originally from Draft Deltarune (the early concept) first and carried through into Undertale somehow. But what we DO know, is that the idea of the town being populated by monsters, was NOT in Draft Deltarune. **He originally wanted the characters in the light world to be human.** (Someone in the replies find the source for this, I’m typing this all in a mad rush). He likely had some idea of the supporting cast before, but this means that Susie, Berdly, Noelle, whoever else ends up being important, **were all originally human** in Draft Deltarune. So what does this mean? What does this have to do with the souls? The souls. The HUMAN souls. Here’s my theory/hunch: I think that Toby Fox, when making Undertale and coming up with the main plot about human souls, decided to put in a personal easter egg that only he would understand at the time, and make all of the souls belong to the main characters of Draft Deltarune. It’s essentially the same thing as putting Mario characters in Link’s awakening. Obviously they don’t share the same world, but the developers were just having fun (and weren’t even planning on making it a full game anyway, so maybe it’s not the best example but it’s a thing developers do sometimes (hell, I do it. Take it from me, a fellow storyteller, when I say that we like doing this sort of thing.)). And while things would’ve changed over time as he revises and rewrites the story, you can see how what the characters of Draft Deltarune ending up being in Deltarune in what they share with the souls. Kris, the patient, cyan, knife-wielding first character you meet. (Cyan is the first soul) Susie, the brave/foolish muscle girl. (orange brave soul) Ralsei, is a little weird since he’s a darkner, but he’s also clearly based on Asriel, and Draft Deltarune wouldn’t have had monsters like him anyway, so maybe he wasn’t originally a darkner? If not this could also just be applied to Asriel instead, who if he even existed would also have been a human. But also he’s green and kind AND HE COOKS FOOD HE BAKES A WHOLE CAKE. (Green soul with the frying pan) Berdly, who I think is actually the purple soul instead, because he is very annoyingly persistent, and he’s a huge nerd (purple soul had glasses and a notebook, exactly the type of nerd stereotype that I’d expect a teenage Toby with a little less storytelling experience to come up with (or, because Draft Deltarune came from the ending of a game he saw in a dream, I can imagine that being the sort of filler character a dream would come up with when making imaginary game characters) Now, I’m a little lost on the other souls, I don’t think Noelle is the yellow soul because I don’t fully believe that Draft Noelle would’ve wielded a gun, which I guess would leave her with the blue soul? The theory really goes hard up until the last two souls, which you could chalk up to it just being changed over multiple story revisions… …or you could assume that we haven’t figured out those characters yet. Maybe Catti secretly really likes ballet. Maybe Jockington is a fan of the second amendment. It’s flimsy, but this could be used to softly predict what characters will be important. Either way, I think I’m onto to something with the idea that Toby added the soul traits as a reference to Draft Deltarune/a teaser to what would become Deltarune. And I don’t think the red soul would’ve had significance to Draft Deltarune back then, because it pretty clearly exists and holds importance in Undertale as the soul of Frisk/Chara, again, I think the specific soul traits are fun little references that we might be able to gain further knowledge from. (Also it’s kinda funny that he’d basically imply that his characters from his previous project died in Undertale’s universe lol. …that, or it’s sad to think he might’ve done that out of frustration he could never go through with that story at the time. Or, y’know, it just means those old versions of the characters are figuratively dead, as whatever Deltarune would become after undertale’s success would not be the same as the original Draft. I mean, I don’t know Toby personally. I can’t psychoanalyze the man.) Thoughts?
The "Brave ones, foolish ones. Both walk not the middle road" point is great actually, you can certainly argue that Susie causes ALL the "diversions" from the middle road in deltarune. The most obvious one being Susie dragging Ralsei away from Kris when he tries to give us a choice, which can lead to Snowgrave being possible(I doubt it could happen if either of the others were present) but my personal theory is that Susie indirectly convinces Kris to create the ch3 dark fountain, with the Noelle/Ralsei question at the end of ch2 as well as generally her personality rubbing off on them. And, lastly, Susie is an anagram of Issue. Susie is the one causing all the issues in the story.
honestly it makes sense for the souls to be arbitrary in undertale but have a importance in deltarune, cause deltarune has been planned for a lot longer and toby could have added some meaning be it subconsciously or intentionally to have it make sense retroactively
Well, Deltarune was his first and main idea and Undertale was besides all the other things his way to get a hold of game making and look at his abilities So considering how soul traits in Undertale never really got to shine, it could be a thing that Undertale was just introducing us to the concept of souls for Deltarune to shine with less exposition

Being fast just makes colors mix. This has been documented in the past as unintentional, but also the reason why Toby decided to give him an actual red eye in that one cutscene.

WAIT... okay, I looked at some of the options in the screenshot of the Goner maker section where it asks you to give your vessel a gift, and I just had a thought, first off, okay Kindness is obviously associated with Ralsei, Bravery describes Susie pretty well as she just immediately rams through everything without thinking, and then we got "Ambition", what if the trait of the red soul is "Ambition", I mean that word pretty much describes Chara as they were pretty ambitious in their plan to free the monsters from the underground, Asgore whilst looking at Frisk, says they have that same hopeful look in their eyes as Chara, and to top this little theory off, and I just looked it up, guess what one of the synonyms for ambition is... freaking *HOPE* (and also dreams lol), this gets even better when the color red is known to represent ambition, strength, passion, something along the lines of power (something Deltarune constantly brings up, the soundtrack when you seal each dark fountain being called "Your Power"), I mean isn't it a little suspicious how there is 2 traits in this maker section that perfectly match with two out of the three of our main party members, and then we have *Ambition*... which basically describes us (the red soul) and also Chara (plus Flowey too, which is someone we are more best compared to except we aren't severely traumatized, depressed, and don't discover our godlike determination time powers from attempting to "game over" for real, seriously though I just want to hug this poor boi... even worse is we find out more of his backstory from slaughtering everyone including his mom and dad that he used to once love until a bit of trauma, zero sign of a therapist, and time travel effed him up) almost perfectly, just with different goals, as Chara tells us after doing genocide the second time "we are not the same", cause were not, their goal was never to kill all monsters, it's clear that they loved monsters, monsters were the creatures to actually show kindness to them, something this poor child never got from their own kind in their village, as for the player, well it's quite flipping obvious we are the ones that chose to do genocide, no dead ghost kid possessing us or all that crap, anyway going back on track, it was our decision, our desire, our "ambition", to do the genocide route, to want to kill literally every monster trapped underground in that mountain, in Undertale, it is our choice to pick which route we want to do, what we want to say to the characters, whether we want to spare them or fight them, I feel like we're the Angel in the prophecy, like just how Gerson describes the Angel feels like it definitely is what a "player" by definition is, tbh being called "The Angel Of Ambition" sounds so freaking cool, when I recently opened up Deltarune for the first time, I just couldn't help but think there was something interesting with "Ambition" being there with soul traits we know like Kindness and Bravery, options like "Mind" & "Voice" are not really personality traits, I am surprised no one noticed this, or thought of the possibility that maybe Ambition could be what the red soul trait is.
Susie being anything but Yellow is criminal. Yellow is Justice, and Justice makes judgement calls. From the first, she has a _fixation_ on people getting what they deserve. Quiet people piss her off because she thinks they're judging her. She goes off on her own because she judges Ralsei's plot as worthless and a waste of her time. (She may not realize it, but what she really rejects is her role in the prophecy, because to reject it exercises her personal agency.) She _judges_ the Dark World to be a huge farce, an obstacle in her way, and so acts to undo it whenever it gets in her way-like a machete cuts through vines. She joined Lancer because he interacted with her directly. He simultaneously bypasses her facade in favor of her while acknowledging her skill in cultivating it. 1) Susie recognizes a wonderful opportunity to be genuine with someone. 2) She already failed to be the world's idea of a hero, and the unafraid "villain" wants to _learn_ from her, meaning he respects her for legitimate reasons. She instantly attaches to him, and her good tendencies already appear in her choice to help Lancer with his own goals. By acknowledging her value and putting her in esteem, she's being treated justly. Therefore, justice is happy to serve him. Why does she follow Kris's orders, later? Because she (indirectly) learned that a good leader knows when/how to follow. Over time she judges them to be more worthy, to where she can feel comfortable following their orders. Trust is a core value of hers rooted in justice. She takes it _very_ seriously. It's what allows her to attack Lancer so brutally after his betrayal breaks her heart-because it's _only just._ Ironically, her personal sense of justice blinds(!) her to what Lancer says about being forced into it. Everything about Susie's character comes down to her personal justice. How it manifests is through her judgement. The world hasn't had her best interest, so to serve/follow it would be humiliation instead of a reward, so she lashed out at it. Only once she starts having people she wants to fight for does she jump to the aid of an innocent and find satisfaction in following orders. Justice, ideally, is a force that cannot be coerced and does not bow to anyone save for those it deems worthy of serving. Oh, and the final nail in the coffin is there's a Toby joke: Justice is a woman, and Justice is blind. In Undertale, Undyne wore an eyepatch. Susie's bangs covered her eyes in Chapter 1. There are other parallels to be drawn between those two, even (decisive, stubbornness when they believe they're right, they hate being tricked, etc.), but I'm not qualified for that. If you want my other SOUL predictions: I think Noelle is Perseverance - (willing to put up with a lot in and outside of the story, often hesitates but holds out hope, could explain why she enjoys horror media/her craving for danger. Could also explain how she's self-confident yet a doormat) Berdly is Integrity - (focuses a lot on personal ability, impostor syndrome, flips his lid when Queen lied about being a gamer, is willing to wreck his arm to avoid being a tool for hurting his friends; all suggest "code of honor" behavior that could happen if Integrity is filtered through Pride) Monster Kid will be Bravery - (motives and key actions in Undertale point to this; sneaks away from home despite how much the risk outweighs the reward, leads a total stranger through _Waterfall_ despite being _tiny_ and _armless,_ shrugs off constant faceplants, admires Undyne for her fearlessness yet is _still_ willing to stand in her way) Asriel will be Kindness - (assuming Ralsei is a romanticized caricature of him)
Very good theory, I also like the idea of Sussie being justice, Noelle being perseverance is nice too and we can also have Berd as Integrity Monster Kid as bravery is an interesting take, we also have the Asriel as kindness and Kris as patience takes, and then we just have one soul left, which I think wont be what most people expect, I actually don't think Red means determination, determination in my opinion it's not one of the soul colors, also most of the text in Undertale talking about determination it's yellow and the save points (that work with our determination) are also yellow, for me Red means Love, both the good side of it and the LOVE that Sans talk about, we can see how in Undertale a pacifist and genocide route are both based on it's personality, what thrive someone to do one or another, two sides of the same coin and what make us try to do these two runs instead of a neutral it's exactly that, Love, the love for the characters that make us do our best to win the game, spare everyone and keep strong against all odds (lvl 1), the compassion and love for everyone, while genocide it's the other side of the coin, a wicked love, could be a love for violence, or a love for the game, wanting to experience everything, even if means killing everyone, what makes a genocide run happens its the will to keep up, as boring as the route is most of the time, and how non reward it is, it's obsession, obsession and violence developed from a desire, either a love for seem things suffer, love for power and control to feel you can do anything, or a love for freedom and experience that would throw away all you did in old runs just to see what else this game can offer, if you didn't care, you wouldn't grind so much in a genocide route and fight Undyne and Sans so many times because it's just not worth it if not for your obsession to overcome all these things, I really believe the red soul's personality trait it's love, and exactly for that reason I find kind hard to decide who would fit best here, I think I need to see a bit more of the game to decide
Something i just now noticed is that the light blue soul and the red soul are completely colors, not only that but the orange soul is the only soul that does have a a pair Kris having the opposite soul color as the player and susie having the one soul that doesn't pair with anyone is crazily fitting for both characters
For the ribbon part for kris 1. Kris's armor before we gained control of them was a horn headband which kris had way before the story 2. The ribbon in the cyber world is a pink ribbon
It's a lot more straight forward. You can tell Kris has either perseverance or determination by his actions and the things we're told about him remove the rest. He lacks Kindness We know noelle has either kindness or patients by her actions. She lacks Bravery. Suzie is either integrity or Justice. She lacks patients. Berdly is 100% Bravery. He lacks integrity. That means it's: •Bravery Berdly •Integrity Suzie •Perserverance Kris •Patience Noel
@rhythmheaven Suzie no matter what always sticks to what she thinks is fair not being able to bring herself to stray off path.Stealing chalk but not lying, Getting mad at Kris but not doing anything, protecting jevil from the world despite finding him annoying.She tries her hardest to stray off path but has too much integrity. As for berdly, he's bold/Brave. He expects Noelle to do nothing about his lies,he says what's on his Mind even if he gets threatened for it, he faces those with far more experience, he never saw the queen as a threat and stands up to the player when they manipulate Noelle. He never seemed to fear for himself despite everyone else having moments of fear and hesitation, closest we get is him worrying about Noelle, not himself. Berdly is annoying because he's Brave first and foremost(And a bit ignorant)
Thanks for pointing out this!, I had this idea too since a year and I haven't seen anyone talking about Omega Flowey's battle and also Undertale in reverse specifically, given that Deltarune is a paralel story to Undertale it's not suprising for me at all, almost all the details in game can make a reference to Undertale and not so much people take this in count, this concept really give us forms of making predictions for the Secret Bosses themes respectively and certain areas of the Darkworlds too, so, great video, thanks for spreading this idea!!
I want to point out that "yellow" is also associated with "Mercy", as that is the color the spare button becomes when you are able to spare enemies in Undertale, which imo, fits Noel quite well in the main route, and becomes darkly ironic in Snowgrave.
I am suspicious of the dess being the perseverance soul part. I think it’s catti because I would find it a bit odd for such an older character then the rest of the “cast“ of people who are represented by the souls to be grouped with and what might become a larger group of the representing souls. My more in story reasons why I think catti will be the perseverance soul: -Kris had the connection to catti before the red soul got to them (occult friendship?) - the purple aspects of her sprite. -Cattie carries a notebook for taking orders while in her uniform -she could feel trapped by her job but I don’t remember her explicitly saying that she hates the job though that might be because I haven’t played the game in a bit. -Most of the characters on the soul theory list or ones are already Introduced in chapter 1 to kris/player this is not a part of that group if I believe while catti is. I mentioned the notebook and the feeling trapped because we are using the flags to help us figure out who the person being represented by the soul is and the flag says “even when you felt trapped, you took notes and achieve the end of “ball”. “ which would makes sense if she feels trapped by her job and takes notes and then she achieves the end of her shift. it could have a larger meaning, but we haven’t gotten much out of catti so if I had to wager a guess the meaning of that will expand later on. For example, if we take the meaning of “ball“ to be the player then I think it would be very interesting due to the past connection Kris had with cattie that caddy is the first one to figure out Kris is possessed, from her mentally taking notes of Kris’s weirder than usual behavior. I have a theory that Caddy will be introduced in chapter 5 and will be placed in the dark world. If that’s true and the soul theory is true. Then I think there is some way where catti will feel trapped. I feel like it’s being foreshadowed that catti will have an interesting dynamic within the group because she has many connections to both Kris, Noelle, and Suzy. Being occult friend with Kris, and from the limited dialogue in the classroom, it seems that Chris has a actually pretty good rapport with catti the reason why he didn’t join Chris as a group partner was because they already had jockington. The relationship with Noel with teaching her protective spells. And the views she has about Suzy being a bad influence in person on Chris and Noel. I think this probably going to be a character in a dark world most likely the diner. If this is true catti would probably be in chapter 5 as part of a diner based dark world. Because that seems to be a very prevalent spot in the Deltarune story so it makes sense to be dark world would be there.
I agree. Kris is defo patience. sneaking up, (allegedly waiting for their chance to jumpscare a friend). However, Suzie seems more like Perseverence, both in color and in personality. Despite tough living circumstances, she toughs it out and is portrayed as stubborn, not brave or self-confident (as seen when she doubts her ability to do a basic puzzle, then does it when pressured). I think Toriel might embody bravery, as we see her second in the game, and she's going to be in the next darkworld. Also, in the light puzzle, wasn't the house orange (I genuinely don't remember), but that might represent that, and her fire magic might be orange. Also, she eats gross food like what Muffet would bake for her big family (lots of mandibles to feed!) I see why you might think that she represents the orange soul, with her brash persona she puts on. However, I think that is JUST a persona. Kris seems to be a good judge of character, they seemed to know Suzie was a good person, despite her acting out to make Kris (and everyone) think otherwise.
One thing i think solidifies in my mind the idea that Birdly is the blue soul is that he is unabashedly himself. Despite his nerdy personality alienating himself from others, he continues to express himself authentically nonetheless. A perfect fit for the soul of integrity. And with Noelle, I believe another thing that connects her to the yellow soul is the theme of judgement in her character arc. Judgment is when you use power in order to perpetuate justice or punish those who do wrong in the name of justice. Most of Noelle’s character arc in the second chapter revolves around her ice powers and whether or not she uses them responsibly. She falls to turmoil if she uses her powers wantonly. She must learn to use her powers only when she needs to in order to embody her soul color, justice.

I think Kris has a red SOUL because they have RED eyes, the window to the SOUL. I do think there's a weird connection between the red soul and the patience soul, even in UT the stick and the dagger/true knife function similarly to the toy knife. I think this is because while the cyan soul is often paired with the orange soul, red is the ACTUAL RGB opposite to cyan. Makes me wonder if someone with patience as their main trait is gonna be important to Kris in some way (Maybe Dess or the Vessel) Also the CORE parallels were very eye opening. Reminds me of the concept art of the legend, where the monster is called Susie, the prince is called Ralsei, but the human is simply called Human, meaning that not every route is going to have Kris as the hero. Perhaps the light blue SOUL is the actual hero...? All in all, good theory

In relation to the orange and light blue soul modes, we have already seen orange and blue attacks so it's more likely that the corresponding chapters will simply make use of orange and blue attacks. (in my opinion, at least)
One thing I didn't see you mention about Kris being the patience soul.... Kris doesn't act for most of chapter 1, even on their own, which we know they CAN do. It isn't until King fires at Susie that they jump in to protect her, which links up with the "You waited, still, for this opportunity, then dethroned "Ball" with a sharp attack" thing because King [and Queen, later on] gets dethroned. Kris was patient, and waited for the perfect moment to step in and save Susie.
on one hand, I really like the ideas presented here and the themes of the souls being reused in deltarune could be a lot of fun in the coming chapters on the other, the lack of a written script was like sandpaper on my brain in some parts lol keep on keeping on, I know we're both really looking forward to ch4 and 5 finally releasing 👀
I think it would be interesting. If with the context you’ve already seen Kris’s soul was originally cyan, but throughout the whole game is treated as the seventh determination soul because we are controlling them and then jock is used as the cyan soul in the story
I get why most people say the cyan soul mode is a mystery, but it's always possible for it to be the split soul we use against mad mew mew. It's a nintendo switch exclusive boss, and the switch version had a slight modification to the clam girl fun event to foreshadow deltarune, so who's to say the cyan soul mode wasn't added to foreshadow deltarune as well?
I think that the dark blue soul could also be associated with Lancer. 1) Throughout chapter 1 his arc is sticking with his own integrity and staying true to himself and sticking up to his father. 2) He's blue. Also I personally think Lancer has a greater chance of showing up in future chapters and being integral to the story than Berdley (in non-snowgrave routes), because I think he has a more personal connection to the fun gang (also like you can call the main trio the lancer fan club). However that's just my personal opinion and speculation.
You are right, Kris is a calculated and patient person. Despite being incredibly erratic, "weird" and goofy, they have a pretty menacing aura to them and that's why I like them so much :^) I'm really stoked to see where they take the narrative
I would say Susie is perseverance and not bravery. Mainly because I believe the color a person is within the dark world is decided by their soul. Plus Susie is perseverant she not only has the most hp of the party but she also doesn't let pain stop her
additional evidence for Ralsei being purple soul is the soul mode makes you stick to lines, ralsei very much wants to follow the prophecy and therefore staying to a strict path matches his characterization
Either way, sage would probably work for Ralsei because he seems to have transcendent knowledge of the Deltarune world, giving the player weirdly meta tutorials and stuff.

I agree with everything you've theorized about in this video, and honestly I was thinking just about the same thing but not to the same level of detail or evidence. However I'm going to give you something to think about. What if each character had 2 aspects? Kris is light blue by default but has an added red because of the player's intrusion and intermingling. two aspects. Sans in Undertale... There is a big suspicion going on ,thanks to the broken down machine and everything inside his small little lab, that he comes from the world of Deltarune. Sans also has two aspects that he uses. Light blue and Yellow. It could be that each Deltarune character has 2 soul aspects, or can develop a 2nd one later down the line. As qwertykins76 suggested earlier in this comment section, Susie could grow to have the Justice aspect. I Believe she is now orange, with bravery, but could eventually develop yellow as well. Another possible hint towards this being true is... the Elemental Pairs. I'm not going to get into detail about elemental pairs, but I'm sure there's quite a few videos out there already exploring and/or explaining Elemental Pairs and what they are. A lot of things oddly seem to be happening in pairs...
i think it’d be interesting if the red soul was representative of someone like asriel as he might have more significance in the game after coming back from college? who knows! i just think the red soul deserves to be a main character as well. it’d be weird for every soul to be a main character in a story with an equal number of chapters as souls except for one. i really like this theory!
this reminds me of a theory i came up with that im still kinda proud of, and i think it still holds together. the theory being that the red soul does not represent determination, as all humans have determination. instead, it represents control, or power. all save points in deltarune mention power in some way, and power is brought into focus by Chara at the end of genocide. this power is a conduit for the player itself, made more explicit by the endings of deltarune chapters 1 and 2, when Kris rips out the red soul and therefore removes the player's control. there's some more evidence i cant remember, but that's the gist

Since we've never seen darkner or monster souls in Deltarune, they could have soul traits and therefore, soul colours. Also, I think Catti is the perseverance soul. Catti has purple shoes, a purple nose, and a purple highlight in her hair. If you look closely, they're almost the exact same colour.
an interesting connection i just drew from this, lightner monsters have white souls, their text portraits are white, it could be possible that darkners souls are colored since their text portraits are colored
From the start, I like the idea of the soul order being the secret bosses stuff, and considering that at the end of Ch2 Toriel calls Police (possibly Napstablook but he's lazy) so Undyne presumably to watch over the house due to the tire slashing, and when everybody is asleep, Kris first opens the door for no apparent reason and then opens the fountain. Well, the reason could be, that Undyne whose patrolling the area sees the bright flash of fountain opening and comes in only to get sucked into the Dark World too, and since Undyne in UT was all about green attacks, it would align with the green soul being the third one in the secret bosses :D How do you know that Frisk has red eyes? I never came across that and after a quick google search didn't find anything of interest. And Kris' red eyes..? For me it's just a dramatic effect of "oooo red is scary blood oo be scared", a human can't exactly have red eyes like that so don't you think it's just an effect? Hmm, wouldn't you say that the Patience in Kris is more of a FORCED Patience? We control them, it's not like they are patient enoughto wait throughout the whole day. It's just that at the end of the day that they are alone from everyone, that's when can they do the soul-ripping. At least that's how I see it, is FORCED Patience the same as Patience? Technically kinda yeah, but I wouldn't honestly say so, but yeah, that's up for debate. The thing with Susie, I really like the heart thing, but here's my small issue with this. Kris' light blue soul comes from their skin, so Susie's would be purple judging by the skin. The other way around, you would go Susie has literally an orange Heart, but then Kris literally has a red Heart during the combat. That's a little thing, the other ones I really like, the Brave Ax, the ball thing and the queen quote. Oh yeah, now that I think about it, what's your arguemnt against the fact that Kris' soul is literally during combat or during the soul-ripping. How does it correlate with the light-blue then? So far all of the 'souls' have been Deltarune original characters so it's likely that the other souls will be originals too So Dess being one is higly likely!
I really don't understand why people don't think Kris is patient... Like, sure, they're chaotic, mischievous, and kind of a delinquent, but they're also extremely meticulous. Every single interaction they have with the player seems to demonstrate this, to me at least

(Red Flag One) "Try as you might, you continue to be yourself" (Red Flag Two) (how I understand the first part) Bravery to stay strong in face of danger, Justice seek the truth, Intergrity stays true to one self, Perseverance keeps on the path dispite what happens, Patience to not skip ahead & because of those, you get the true ending. The Player pushes the "Ball" aka Story/Plot fowards to the true end, the way to win the game. And with the Red Flag two, no matter which ending you get in undertale, it's towards the Player, no matter what we do to change the outcome, we'll always be ourselves. (Genocide has Chara directly call us out on OUR actions, The nertual routes has Sans spefically speak to us as well as Flowey, True Pacifist has Flowey call us out for re-opening the game after we get the True ending & the Genoside Pacifist has Chara appering in place of Frisk to remind us of our actions.)
I agree with the light blue, orange, green and blue souls. I think the purple soul should be associated with Catti and the yellow soul could be either Noelle or Dess, but I'm leaning more towards Dess. About the purple soul: Catti literally has a VERY similar shade of purple in her sprite. You could say she's "trapped" in her life. She's clearly out of her element in her job, but she perseveres through it. I think we can conclude the UT purple soul human was definitely more reserved (because their weapon and armour give less defence/attack but more invincibility frames, so they probably weren't too inclined to fight; the ball game talks about "taking notes", which to me seems like someone who's observant but would rather watch from afar than fight head-on). Plus, I think that if a single other of Kris' classmates goes to a dark world and plays a bigger role in the game, it will be Catti (I just don't think Snowy, Monster Kid, Jockington or Temmie will be so important). Now about the yellow: Like I said, I could maybe see it being Noelle (even if you haven't really convinced me with your arguments). The thing is, both Noelle and Dess are obviously important to the story, and if this theory was to be correct, I'm sure one of them would be associated with one of the souls, but probably not both. I'd say Noelle transcends this metaphor with all her connections to angels and such (unless you want to argue about the red soul being the angel or that Noelle getting more confident and independent is her getting more determination, which could mean she's the red soul (which would also fit if you think she's going to be the final boss in at least one of the routes)). Now, we know practically nothing about Dess, but one of the only things we know for sure is that she's very protective over Noelle and doesn't like when Kris lies to or scares her, being quick to punish them by hitting them with a wiffle bat when it happened. You could say she... has a strong sense of justice. One additional theory I tacked onto this one is the difference between the normal and weird routes. In the normal route, you get to chapter 7 with all your friends and you're all cool. But throughout the weird route, you "lose" one of the souls in each chapter. Not necessarily by killing them, just doing something that would make them less likely to help you (or by killing them like Berdly). Let's say it would look like this (the order is very much speculative (like everything here) so take it with a grain of salt): Chapter 2 - Berdly, Chapter 3 - Ralsei (I know it sounds weird "losing" his so early, but you can say that's where Noelle steps in to take his place, and like you said, Ralsei is the one who tries to keep the game on-track, so if you're consistently going against that, he might give up), Chapter 4 - Catti (who went to the dark world that chapter), Chapter 5 - Susie and Chapter 6 - Dess (these two especially could be swapped places). Then, in chapter 7 on the weird route, there are two souls left - light blue and red (and again, Noelle would still be in play, so that makes me think even more that she's the red soul to some degree). Then, either Kris and Noelle fight the final boss, or if Noelle is the final boss, Kris alone fights her mano a mano.
I don't know why, but I was convinced that Berdlys halberd was called at some point the halberd of justice [I may have just mixed ut up with the halberd of justice in final fantasy?] But I think that berdly is likely the yellow or orange soul [more probably the yellow sould], bravery or justice. He has a lot of yellow and orange details in both light and dark world, and its also fairly common for characters to have the main color be opposite of their soul color [blue being opposite of yellow/orange], he views himself as a very just person, or at least puts himself out as one, he acts as what he thinks is brave with queen, where he joins her to help protect Noelle, his statue is gold, he is learning to be sure of himself, his bullet patterns are all very purposeful [in reference to the ball game], berdly is heavily associated with spamton, the just-ice pun also works for him For the orange soul, the manly bandana i guess could be associated with his wants to be manly or masculine like with the statue, and all the previous bravery stuff i mentioned Im not certain what he'll be, he could be blue but i feel like he'll be justice or bravery
I also think the associations with the souls could be things the characters are working towards achieving or their opposites being flaws those characters currently have!
the thing with spamton and mettaton is that, all of his references to mettaton NEO were done for a specific reason, it was because mettaton NEO didn't get a real boss fight in undertale. that makes me think this won't be a running theme with the secret bosses
i think its interesting that the three souls that arent the fun gang in deltarune are the three that are playable in undertale, (dark) blue, yellow, and purple
What's interesting is that Patience and Bravery represent opposites within the context of Undertale. For light blue attacks, you need to stay still, while for orange attacks you need to move. And within Deltarune, all party members have a "guts" stat. Their character growth arguably all has something to do with courage: * Kris gains a +1 stat boost in "Guts" at the end of Chapter 1, when they defend Susie without the input of the player. * Susie learns to trust other people. Her cowardice was to face every conflict with violence, and she learns to solve puzzles by herself. * Noelle gains the most courage, stops fearing mice for example, and by the end, stands up to Queen and leaves the computer lab much more confident. On the weird route especially, she grows stronger and far bolder than even on the normal route. So in a sense I feel like the journey of the story is to go from the patience soul, to the bravery soul. My guess for the soul color assignments are much like with Undertale -- Patience and Bravery aren't assigned directly to a specific character, but represent overall concepts moreso. For the remaining ones, I would pick the main protagonists of the story, without any minor characters: * Kris: Integrity (or a lack thereof, given that they are split in the control between body and soul) * Susie: Perseverance (synonymous for determination, Susie gets out of jail on her own and resists the choices of the player) * Ralsei: Kindness (as stated in the video, niceness and cooking) * Noelle: Justice (in addition to the points in the video, the only character so far that can "deliver justice" in the cowboy sense -- or in other words, who can kill) * Player: Red (strongly associated with "Control")
I have my own prediction regarding the souls,and it is that every chapters secret boss will have a mechanic relating to a different soul color. I think this makes sense cause the number of chapters perfectly matches with the number of soul colors,plus we could experience the soul color mechanics Undertale never got to use.

Something that not a lot of people talk about is the fact that technically there are 2 other kinds of souls, white, or monster souls, and black, or a lack of soul. There was this video i watched that was about a lot of mini theories, but one part was about the visible light spectrum/cmyk colors and how they are the exact same as the souls (bravery is the odd one out but i specifically think orange is. Supposed to be the stand in for red for cmyk, while still not being the ACTUAL red soul. See dess's clearly orange guitar is described as "red" in the "dess" spamton sweepstakes page tab title). All the monsters don't exhibit just one soul trait and usually have multiple things from multiple of them, the most obvious to point out of this is sans's eye being both yellow AND cyan. White in cmyk is made from all the colors being added up, and black is a lack of all color. Which flowey would be. Something interesting i think is that ralsei has a black heart on his cloak, perhaps he is soulless? I also have a theory that gaster is soulless, a lot of the evidence for it is like. Not great? Mostly because its not direct but hey we get what we can get with wing gaster the royal scientist. One of those evidences is that he shares a lot A LOT of themes and like. What not with flowey who is similarly soulless. One of these traits is both having access to save files before you came along and them losing that access the moment we start playing. Note the pre chapter 1 save select screen dialogue when you edit saves, its gaestor.. Also unrelated but. i need. More. People to know about this. I've always wondered why asgore's name isnt a pun or anagram like asriel or toriel, and i have a theory. And its kind of nuts?? So y'know how in utdr you can't even fully type gaster's name when naming yourself? Like its just an unsayable name? So anyway uh asgore is 1 letter away from being anagramable to gaster,, gasoer.... something else i noticed: the color associated with TP is orange, also associated with bravery. Susie's spells, Rude Buster, Red Buster and Ultimate Heal require the most TP to use, and the only spell costing more is Snowgrave. not sure if this is evidence or coincidence.
had to catch up on my studies real quick before we get 3/4 any day now. I think the idea of lacking a soul and the goner you make work together in tandem, I feel like them being "deleted" in UT/DR standards relates to the taking of a soul which causes their existence to fall apart. We've seen souls without bodies, bodies without souls has to be something we toy with during the later chapters.
I think that the dark blue soul could represent Jockington as I think he is very likely to appear in a future chapter being a new classmate character with a minor connection to Noel (via Spamton Sweeptakes), he’s blue and from the flag text ‘hopping and twirling’ could relate to his sportiness. Berdly is also a good contender but I don’t think he will play a major role in future chapters as he has already completed his arc and then snowgrave would cause a major deviation to the story potentially contradicting the ‘one ending’ despite the multiple routes to get there.
I guess Kris being Patience and Susie being Bravery makes sense with the order of the souls too, as Kris is the first new character that the player is introduced to, Susie is the second (i think). This idea probably wouldn’t work well for the rest of the characters though, especially if Noelle is Justice.
i'm happy to see someone else catch on to the idea of the characters as embodying Undertale's souls! Video spoilers contained in my own interpretation below - - The ones I had different were Kris as red (this had the weakest justification, as in "I don't know why"), Catti as light blue (putting up with, and somewhere down the line eventually learning to embrace her family), and Asriel as green (he's a great brother. self explanatory). I do very much like the idea of us as the red soul though My theory was based around as assertion that monsters in Deltarune have fundamentally different anatomies to Undertale, with Deltarune lightners (monsters and humans) being equivalent to Undertale's humans, while the darkners are equivalent to Undertale's monsters, from a story perspective. The role taken by monsters in Deltarune therefore encourages them to be more like humans than they were in Undertale. Combine that with Susie eating chalk, the lack of magic, Susie's bleeding sprite, etc. I believe some monsters are biological, and not magic. Hots fireguy's clearly still magic in some sense, but I will stand by there being variation Anyway, I think we're going to see a monster's soul at some point (Susie sealing a fountain perhaps?), and we'll get the reveal that Deltarune monsters have ""human"" souls. I also could absolutely see a moment where the seven souls combine their powers to defeat the villain of Deltarune, the same way the seven human souls defeated flowey in Undertale
Theres a third mention of all the human souls in order. The ball puzzle in snowdin has a different order. It goes light blue, purple, green, blue, yellow, orange, red. At the end all the atributes are mentioned in the same order, so its not an arbitrary choice. Also, neither matches the order of the coffins on asgore basement, nor the vasins for the souls, nor the order of the flowers in asgore flower shop. It neither matches the order of the humans diying.
For me its kris light blue susie orange, Noelle yellow, toriel green, and then im not really sure but toriel being green makes sense since 1 she is connected with kindness 2 she will probably be in chapter 3 (the chapter that the green heart will probably be present) so she will have a similar role to noelle
I don't know about Noelle being justice she didn't really help Kris when Susie was bullying them despite seeing it happen and instead hid in a locker. It also doesn't help that she has been trying to get Kris to switch seats with her not to help them, but to get closer to Susie. I still don't get what she sees in Susie before Chapter 2.
Berdly also is like the opposite of integrity before Chapter 2 epilogue. So I think some of these could be more where their characters are developing towards. So Berdly is learning to be more true to himself (integrity) and Noelle is learning to stand up for herself and others (justice)
There's probably a connection between the stories of the secret bosses and the soul traits. what do we show spamton? justice. What do we show jevil? ball game.

I think Susie's soul is yellow, Justice. She doesn't exactly embody that trait quiet yet, but I believe she is slowly changing as a person, to eventually become someone who cares a lot about doing the right thing. She starts as a bully, but by the end of the game she'll be an arbiter of Justice who protects the innocent.
Also the heart on her belt is really more of a yellow than an orange. It's probably a play on "jerk with a heart of gold".
I came to that same conclusion in my own investigation too initially. I assumed the belt buckle would be a similar colour to the yellow soul.
But if you take the colours from the Undertale and Deltarune sprites, Susie's golden belt buckle is actually shockingly close to the colour of the orange soul! the yellow of the yellow soul, on the other hand, is quite different to the gold of her belt buckle when comparing the colours side by side.

I think Berdly has the Perseverance soul traits. He achieves his goal of being the best through hard work (Even if he needs help from Noelle he couldn't just get good grades because someone helps him, he had to work hard to get them). With his hard work he became the number 1 student in Alphys's class. What everyone seems to miss about Berdly's character is that he has impostor syndrome. He thinks the only reason he achieved that much is just because Noelle helps him. As I said earlier you can't get good grades from just receiving help from someone and pretending to be smart. After all he was smart enough to get the party's comrades together and helped assemble a giant robot to fight Queen. Berdly wears glasses and works as a librarian. With all that said I do think Berdly is one of the best candidates for the purple soul.

Originally, I was disagreeing with this, but I do see an angle where birdly could be the perseverance soul. Because the flag mentions you ‘felt trapped’ and while this could be meaning the character the flag is mentioning is actually trapped and feels that way, if we’re looking at it with birdly in mind then it matches with him feeling trapped by what he thinks others think of him and trying to maintain that with his smart persona. But then we come to the part where I’m unsure. Because if we go back to the flag, the other part of it says “ you took notes and achieved the end of ‘ball’ “ And honestly, that pattern isn’t really shown with birdly the actions he takes in the dark world. Don’t really have him taking notes on anything. His ark in chapter 2 was about letting go of that smart person persona, and that kind of feels like the opposite of taking notes and achieving the end of the game/you. Even if you look at the light world actions there’s not much evidence, sure he works in a library and wears glasses, but I don’t recall birdly saying anything or anyone else saying anything about burley taking notes on classwork. The closest thing I can think of to taking notes would be him telling Kris about Azriel’s incredibly overdue book, but I’m pretty sure that’s the saying it not birdly keeping track and taking notes of it himself.
Ok, I don’t have enough to go off for a full theory, but I have a HUGE hunch (with some evidence) that I think people will be interested in. It’s not necessarily plot important, but there’s a chance it could be used to predict something.
Toby Fox conceived the idea for Deltarune before Undertale, but it failed to go anywhere, and decided that if Undertale was successful, he would remake the old game but combine it with elements of Undertale. Now, we don’t know the exact extent of how much of Undertale is in Deltarune, obviously the battle system and many of the characters are from Undertale, but the setting, the lore about determination, the souls, it’s all possible that those were actually originally from Draft Deltarune (the early concept) first and carried through into Undertale somehow. But what we DO know, is that the idea of the town being populated by monsters, was NOT in Draft Deltarune. **He originally wanted the characters in the light world to be human.** (Someone in the replies find the source for this, I’m typing this all in a mad rush).
He likely had some idea of the supporting cast before, but this means that Susie, Berdly, Noelle, whoever else ends up being important, **were all originally human** in Draft Deltarune. So what does this mean? What does this have to do with the souls?
The souls. The HUMAN souls. Here’s my theory/hunch:
I think that Toby Fox, when making Undertale and coming up with the main plot about human souls, decided to put in a personal easter egg that only he would understand at the time, and make all of the souls belong to the main characters of Draft Deltarune.
It’s essentially the same thing as putting Mario characters in Link’s awakening. Obviously they don’t share the same world, but the developers were just having fun (and weren’t even planning on making it a full game anyway, so maybe it’s not the best example but it’s a thing developers do sometimes (hell, I do it. Take it from me, a fellow storyteller, when I say that we like doing this sort of thing.)). And while things would’ve changed over time as he revises and rewrites the story, you can see how what the characters of Draft Deltarune ending up being in Deltarune in what they share with the souls.
Kris, the patient, cyan, knife-wielding first character you meet. (Cyan is the first soul)
Susie, the brave/foolish muscle girl. (orange brave soul)
Ralsei, is a little weird since he’s a darkner, but he’s also clearly based on Asriel, and Draft Deltarune wouldn’t have had monsters like him anyway, so maybe he wasn’t originally a darkner? If not this could also just be applied to Asriel instead, who if he even existed would also have been a human. But also he’s green and kind AND HE COOKS FOOD HE BAKES A WHOLE CAKE. (Green soul with the frying pan)
Berdly, who I think is actually the purple soul instead, because he is very annoyingly persistent, and he’s a huge nerd (purple soul had glasses and a notebook, exactly the type of nerd stereotype that I’d expect a teenage Toby with a little less storytelling experience to come up with (or, because Draft Deltarune came from the ending of a game he saw in a dream, I can imagine that being the sort of filler character a dream would come up with when making imaginary game characters)
Now, I’m a little lost on the other souls, I don’t think Noelle is the yellow soul because I don’t fully believe that Draft Noelle would’ve wielded a gun, which I guess would leave her with the blue soul? The theory really goes hard up until the last two souls, which you could chalk up to it just being changed over multiple story revisions…
…or you could assume that we haven’t figured out those characters yet. Maybe Catti secretly really likes ballet. Maybe Jockington is a fan of the second amendment. It’s flimsy, but this could be used to softly predict what characters will be important. Either way, I think I’m onto to something with the idea that Toby added the soul traits as a reference to Draft Deltarune/a teaser to what would become Deltarune. And I don’t think the red soul would’ve had significance to Draft Deltarune back then, because it pretty clearly exists and holds importance in Undertale as the soul of Frisk/Chara, again, I think the specific soul traits are fun little references that we might be able to gain further knowledge from.
(Also it’s kinda funny that he’d basically imply that his characters from his previous project died in Undertale’s universe lol. …that, or it’s sad to think he might’ve done that out of frustration he could never go through with that story at the time. Or, y’know, it just means those old versions of the characters are figuratively dead, as whatever Deltarune would become after undertale’s success would not be the same as the original Draft. I mean, I don’t know Toby personally. I can’t psychoanalyze the man.)

The "Brave ones, foolish ones. Both walk not the middle road" point is great actually, you can certainly argue that Susie causes ALL the "diversions" from the middle road in deltarune. The most obvious one being Susie dragging Ralsei away from Kris when he tries to give us a choice, which can lead to Snowgrave being possible(I doubt it could happen if either of the others were present) but my personal theory is that Susie indirectly convinces Kris to create the ch3 dark fountain, with the Noelle/Ralsei question at the end of ch2 as well as generally her personality rubbing off on them. And, lastly, Susie is an anagram of Issue. Susie is the one causing all the issues in the story.

honestly it makes sense for the souls to be arbitrary in undertale but have a importance in deltarune, cause deltarune has been planned for a lot longer and toby could have added some meaning be it subconsciously or intentionally to have it make sense retroactively

Being fast just makes colors mix. This has been documented in the past as unintentional, but also the reason why Toby decided to give him an actual red eye in that one cutscene.

WAIT... okay, I looked at some of the options in the screenshot of the Goner maker section where it asks you to give your vessel a gift, and I just had a thought, first off, okay Kindness is obviously associated with Ralsei, Bravery describes Susie pretty well as she just immediately rams through everything without thinking, and then we got "Ambition", what if the trait of the red soul is "Ambition", I mean that word pretty much describes Chara as they were pretty ambitious in their plan to free the monsters from the underground, Asgore whilst looking at Frisk, says they have that same hopeful look in their eyes as Chara, and to top this little theory off, and I just looked it up, guess what one of the synonyms for ambition is... freaking *HOPE* (and also dreams lol), this gets even better when the color red is known to represent ambition, strength, passion, something along the lines of power (something Deltarune constantly brings up, the soundtrack when you seal each dark fountain being called "Your Power"), I mean isn't it a little suspicious how there is 2 traits in this maker section that perfectly match with two out of the three of our main party members, and then we have *Ambition*... which basically describes us (the red soul) and also Chara (plus Flowey too, which is someone we are more best compared to except we aren't severely traumatized, depressed, and don't discover our godlike determination time powers from attempting to "game over" for real, seriously though I just want to hug this poor boi... even worse is we find out more of his backstory from slaughtering everyone including his mom and dad that he used to once love until a bit of trauma, zero sign of a therapist, and time travel effed him up) almost perfectly, just with different goals, as Chara tells us after doing genocide the second time "we are not the same", cause were not, their goal was never to kill all monsters, it's clear that they loved monsters, monsters were the creatures to actually show kindness to them, something this poor child never got from their own kind in their village, as for the player, well it's quite flipping obvious we are the ones that chose to do genocide, no dead ghost kid possessing us or all that crap, anyway going back on track, it was our decision, our desire, our "ambition", to do the genocide route, to want to kill literally every monster trapped underground in that mountain, in Undertale, it is our choice to pick which route we want to do, what we want to say to the characters, whether we want to spare them or fight them, I feel like we're the Angel in the prophecy, like just how Gerson describes the Angel feels like it definitely is what a "player" by definition is, tbh being called "The Angel Of Ambition" sounds so freaking cool, when I recently opened up Deltarune for the first time, I just couldn't help but think there was something interesting with "Ambition" being there with soul traits we know like Kindness and Bravery, options like "Mind" & "Voice" are not really personality traits, I am surprised no one noticed this, or thought of the possibility that maybe Ambition could be what the red soul trait is.
Susie being anything but Yellow is criminal. Yellow is Justice, and Justice makes judgement calls. From the first, she has a _fixation_ on people getting what they deserve. Quiet people piss her off because she thinks they're judging her. She goes off on her own because she judges Ralsei's plot as worthless and a waste of her time. (She may not realize it, but what she really rejects is her role in the prophecy, because to reject it exercises her personal agency.) She _judges_ the Dark World to be a huge farce, an obstacle in her way, and so acts to undo it whenever it gets in her way-like a machete cuts through vines.
She joined Lancer because he interacted with her directly. He simultaneously bypasses her facade in favor of her while acknowledging her skill in cultivating it. 1) Susie recognizes a wonderful opportunity to be genuine with someone. 2) She already failed to be the world's idea of a hero, and the unafraid "villain" wants to _learn_ from her, meaning he respects her for legitimate reasons. She instantly attaches to him, and her good tendencies already appear in her choice to help Lancer with his own goals. By acknowledging her value and putting her in esteem, she's being treated justly. Therefore, justice is happy to serve him.
Why does she follow Kris's orders, later? Because she (indirectly) learned that a good leader knows when/how to follow. Over time she judges them to be more worthy, to where she can feel comfortable following their orders.
Trust is a core value of hers rooted in justice. She takes it _very_ seriously. It's what allows her to attack Lancer so brutally after his betrayal breaks her heart-because it's _only just._ Ironically, her personal sense of justice blinds(!) her to what Lancer says about being forced into it.
Everything about Susie's character comes down to her personal justice. How it manifests is through her judgement. The world hasn't had her best interest, so to serve/follow it would be humiliation instead of a reward, so she lashed out at it. Only once she starts having people she wants to fight for does she jump to the aid of an innocent and find satisfaction in following orders.
Justice, ideally, is a force that cannot be coerced and does not bow to anyone save for those it deems worthy of serving.
Oh, and the final nail in the coffin is there's a Toby joke: Justice is a woman, and Justice is blind. In Undertale, Undyne wore an eyepatch. Susie's bangs covered her eyes in Chapter 1. There are other parallels to be drawn between those two, even (decisive, stubbornness when they believe they're right, they hate being tricked, etc.), but I'm not qualified for that.
If you want my other SOUL predictions: I think
Noelle is Perseverance - (willing to put up with a lot in and outside of the story, often hesitates but holds out hope, could explain why she enjoys horror media/her craving for danger. Could also explain how she's self-confident yet a doormat)
Berdly is Integrity - (focuses a lot on personal ability, impostor syndrome, flips his lid when Queen lied about being a gamer, is willing to wreck his arm to avoid being a tool for hurting his friends; all suggest "code of honor" behavior that could happen if Integrity is filtered through Pride)
Monster Kid will be Bravery - (motives and key actions in Undertale point to this; sneaks away from home despite how much the risk outweighs the reward, leads a total stranger through _Waterfall_ despite being _tiny_ and _armless,_ shrugs off constant faceplants, admires Undyne for her fearlessness yet is _still_ willing to stand in her way)
Asriel will be Kindness - (assuming Ralsei is a romanticized caricature of him)

Monster Kid as bravery is an interesting take, we also have the Asriel as kindness and Kris as patience takes, and then we just have one soul left, which I think wont be what most people expect, I actually don't think Red means determination, determination in my opinion it's not one of the soul colors, also most of the text in Undertale talking about determination it's yellow and the save points (that work with our determination) are also yellow, for me Red means Love, both the good side of it and the LOVE that Sans talk about, we can see how in Undertale a pacifist and genocide route are both based on it's personality, what thrive someone to do one or another, two sides of the same coin and what make us try to do these two runs instead of a neutral it's exactly that, Love, the love for the characters that make us do our best to win the game, spare everyone and keep strong against all odds (lvl 1), the compassion and love for everyone, while genocide it's the other side of the coin, a wicked love, could be a love for violence, or a love for the game, wanting to experience everything, even if means killing everyone, what makes a genocide run happens its the will to keep up, as boring as the route is most of the time, and how non reward it is, it's obsession, obsession and violence developed from a desire, either a love for seem things suffer, love for power and control to feel you can do anything, or a love for freedom and experience that would throw away all you did in old runs just to see what else this game can offer, if you didn't care, you wouldn't grind so much in a genocide route and fight Undyne and Sans so many times because it's just not worth it if not for your obsession to overcome all these things, I really believe the red soul's personality trait it's love, and exactly for that reason I find kind hard to decide who would fit best here, I think I need to see a bit more of the game to decide
Something i just now noticed is that the light blue soul and the red soul are completely colors, not only that but the orange soul is the only soul that does have a a pair
Kris having the opposite soul color as the player and susie having the one soul that doesn't pair with anyone is crazily fitting for both characters
Just remembering that when susie uses magic, she became enhanced in an orange aura

1. Kris's armor before we gained control of them was a horn headband which kris had way before the story

As for berdly, he's bold/Brave. He expects Noelle to do nothing about his lies,he says what's on his Mind even if he gets threatened for it, he faces those with far more experience, he never saw the queen as a threat and stands up to the player when they manipulate Noelle. He never seemed to fear for himself despite everyone else having moments of fear and hesitation, closest we get is him worrying about Noelle, not himself.
Berdly is annoying because he's Brave first and foremost(And a bit ignorant)
Thanks for pointing out this!, I had this idea too since a year and I haven't seen anyone talking about Omega Flowey's battle and also Undertale in reverse specifically, given that Deltarune is a paralel story to Undertale it's not suprising for me at all, almost all the details in game can make a reference to Undertale and not so much people take this in count, this concept really give us forms of making predictions for the Secret Bosses themes respectively and certain areas of the Darkworlds too, so, great video, thanks for spreading this idea!!
I want to point out that "yellow" is also associated with "Mercy", as that is the color the spare button becomes when you are able to spare enemies in Undertale, which imo, fits Noel quite well in the main route, and becomes darkly ironic in Snowgrave.

I am suspicious of the dess being the perseverance soul part. I think it’s catti because I would find it a bit odd for such an older character then the rest of the “cast“ of people who are represented by the souls to be grouped with and what might become a larger group of the representing souls. My more in story reasons why I think catti will be the perseverance soul:
-Kris had the connection to catti before the red soul got to them (occult friendship?)
- the purple aspects of her sprite.
-Cattie carries a notebook for taking orders while in her uniform
-she could feel trapped by her job but I don’t remember her explicitly saying that she hates the job though that might be because I haven’t played the game in a bit.
-Most of the characters on the soul theory list or ones are already Introduced in chapter 1 to kris/player this is not a part of that group if I believe while catti is.
I mentioned the notebook and the feeling trapped because we are using the flags to help us figure out who the person being represented by the soul is and the flag says “even when you felt trapped, you took notes and achieve the end of “ball”. “ which would makes sense if she feels trapped by her job and takes notes and then she achieves the end of her shift. it could have a larger meaning, but we haven’t gotten much out of catti so if I had to wager a guess the meaning of that will expand later on. For example, if we take the meaning of “ball“ to be the player then I think it would be very interesting due to the past connection Kris had with cattie that caddy is the first one to figure out Kris is possessed, from her mentally taking notes of Kris’s weirder than usual behavior. I have a theory that Caddy will be introduced in chapter 5 and will be placed in the dark world. If that’s true and the soul theory is true. Then I think there is some way where catti will feel trapped.
I feel like it’s being foreshadowed that catti will have an interesting dynamic within the group because she has many connections to both Kris, Noelle, and Suzy. Being occult friend with Kris, and from the limited dialogue in the classroom, it seems that Chris has a actually pretty good rapport with catti the reason why he didn’t join Chris as a group partner was because they already had jockington. The relationship with Noel with teaching her protective spells. And the views she has about Suzy being a bad influence in person on Chris and Noel. I think this probably going to be a character in a dark world most likely the diner.
If this is true catti would probably be in chapter 5 as part of a diner based dark world. Because that seems to be a very prevalent spot in the Deltarune story so it makes sense to be dark world would be there.

I agree. Kris is defo patience. sneaking up, (allegedly waiting for their chance to jumpscare a friend). However, Suzie seems more like Perseverence, both in color and in personality. Despite tough living circumstances, she toughs it out and is portrayed as stubborn, not brave or self-confident (as seen when she doubts her ability to do a basic puzzle, then does it when pressured). I think Toriel might embody bravery, as we see her second in the game, and she's going to be in the next darkworld. Also, in the light puzzle, wasn't the house orange (I genuinely don't remember), but that might represent that, and her fire magic might be orange. Also, she eats gross food like what Muffet would bake for her big family (lots of mandibles to feed!) I see why you might think that she represents the orange soul, with her brash persona she puts on. However, I think that is JUST a persona. Kris seems to be a good judge of character, they seemed to know Suzie was a good person, despite her acting out to make Kris (and everyone) think otherwise.
One thing i think solidifies in my mind the idea that Birdly is the blue soul is that he is unabashedly himself. Despite his nerdy personality alienating himself from others, he continues to express himself authentically nonetheless. A perfect fit for the soul of integrity.
And with Noelle, I believe another thing that connects her to the yellow soul is the theme of judgement in her character arc. Judgment is when you use power in order to perpetuate justice or punish those who do wrong in the name of justice. Most of Noelle’s character arc in the second chapter revolves around her ice powers and whether or not she uses them responsibly. She falls to turmoil if she uses her powers wantonly. She must learn to use her powers only when she needs to in order to embody her soul color, justice.

I think Kris has a red SOUL because they have RED eyes, the window to the SOUL.
I do think there's a weird connection between the red soul and the patience soul, even in UT the stick and the dagger/true knife function similarly to the toy knife.
I think this is because while the cyan soul is often paired with the orange soul, red is the ACTUAL RGB opposite to cyan.
Makes me wonder if someone with patience as their main trait is gonna be important to Kris in some way (Maybe Dess or the Vessel)
Also the CORE parallels were very eye opening. Reminds me of the concept art of the legend, where the monster is called Susie, the prince is called Ralsei, but the human is simply called Human, meaning that not every route is going to have Kris as the hero. Perhaps the light blue SOUL is the actual hero...?

In relation to the orange and light blue soul modes, we have already seen orange and blue attacks so it's more likely that the corresponding chapters will simply make use of orange and blue attacks. (in my opinion, at least)
One thing I didn't see you mention about Kris being the patience soul....
Kris doesn't act for most of chapter 1, even on their own, which we know they CAN do. It isn't until King fires at Susie that they jump in to protect her, which links up with the "You waited, still, for this opportunity, then dethroned "Ball" with a sharp attack" thing because King [and Queen, later on] gets dethroned. Kris was patient, and waited for the perfect moment to step in and save Susie.

I think it would be interesting. If with the context you’ve already seen Kris’s soul was originally cyan, but throughout the whole game is treated as the seventh determination soul because we are controlling them and then jock is used as the cyan soul in the story
I get why most people say the cyan soul mode is a mystery, but it's always possible for it to be the split soul we use against mad mew mew. It's a nintendo switch exclusive boss, and the switch version had a slight modification to the clam girl fun event to foreshadow deltarune, so who's to say the cyan soul mode wasn't added to foreshadow deltarune as well?

I think that the dark blue soul could also be associated with Lancer. 1) Throughout chapter 1 his arc is sticking with his own integrity and staying true to himself and sticking up to his father. 2) He's blue. Also I personally think Lancer has a greater chance of showing up in future chapters and being integral to the story than Berdley (in non-snowgrave routes), because I think he has a more personal connection to the fun gang (also like you can call the main trio the lancer fan club). However that's just my personal opinion and speculation.
About the purple soul:
Karma is also purple, and in Muffet's battle her purple web looks like guitar strings.

You are right, Kris is a calculated and patient person. Despite being incredibly erratic, "weird" and goofy, they have a pretty menacing aura to them and that's why I like them so much :^) I'm really stoked to see where they take the narrative
I would say Susie is perseverance and not bravery. Mainly because I believe the color a person is within the dark world is decided by their soul. Plus Susie is perseverant she not only has the most hp of the party but she also doesn't let pain stop her

I agree with everything you've theorized about in this video, and honestly I was thinking just about the same thing but not to the same level of detail or evidence.
However I'm going to give you something to think about. What if each character had 2 aspects?
Kris is light blue by default but has an added red because of the player's intrusion and intermingling. two aspects.
Sans in Undertale... There is a big suspicion going on ,thanks to the broken down machine and everything inside his small little lab, that he comes from the world of Deltarune.
Sans also has two aspects that he uses. Light blue and Yellow.
It could be that each Deltarune character has 2 soul aspects, or can develop a 2nd one later down the line.
As qwertykins76 suggested earlier in this comment section, Susie could grow to have the Justice aspect. I Believe she is now orange, with bravery, but could eventually develop yellow as well.
Another possible hint towards this being true is... the Elemental Pairs. I'm not going to get into detail about elemental pairs, but I'm sure there's quite a few videos out there already exploring and/or explaining Elemental Pairs and what they are.

i think it’d be interesting if the red soul was representative of someone like asriel as he might have more significance in the game after coming back from college? who knows! i just think the red soul deserves to be a main character as well. it’d be weird for every soul to be a main character in a story with an equal number of chapters as souls except for one. i really like this theory!
this reminds me of a theory i came up with that im still kinda proud of, and i think it still holds together. the theory being that the red soul does not represent determination, as all humans have determination. instead, it represents control, or power. all save points in deltarune mention power in some way, and power is brought into focus by Chara at the end of genocide. this power is a conduit for the player itself, made more explicit by the endings of deltarune chapters 1 and 2, when Kris rips out the red soul and therefore removes the player's control. there's some more evidence i cant remember, but that's the gist

Since we've never seen darkner or monster souls in Deltarune, they could have soul traits and therefore, soul colours. Also, I think Catti is the perseverance soul. Catti has purple shoes, a purple nose, and a purple highlight in her hair. If you look closely, they're almost the exact same colour.
an interesting connection i just drew from this, lightner monsters have white souls, their text portraits are white, it could be possible that darkners souls are colored since their text portraits are colored

From the start, I like the idea of the soul order being the secret bosses stuff, and considering that at the end of Ch2 Toriel calls Police (possibly Napstablook but he's lazy) so Undyne presumably to watch over the house due to the tire slashing, and when everybody is asleep, Kris first opens the door for no apparent reason and then opens the fountain. Well, the reason could be, that Undyne whose patrolling the area sees the bright flash of fountain opening and comes in only to get sucked into the Dark World too, and since Undyne in UT was all about green attacks, it would align with the green soul being the third one in the secret bosses :D
How do you know that Frisk has red eyes? I never came across that and after a quick google search didn't find anything of interest. And Kris' red eyes..? For me it's just a dramatic effect of "oooo red is scary blood oo be scared", a human can't exactly have red eyes like that so don't you think it's just an effect?
Hmm, wouldn't you say that the Patience in Kris is more of a FORCED Patience? We control them, it's not like they are patient enoughto wait throughout the whole day. It's just that at the end of the day that they are alone from everyone, that's when can they do the soul-ripping. At least that's how I see it, is FORCED Patience the same as Patience? Technically kinda yeah, but I wouldn't honestly say so, but yeah, that's up for debate.
The thing with Susie, I really like the heart thing, but here's my small issue with this. Kris' light blue soul comes from their skin, so Susie's would be purple judging by the skin. The other way around, you would go Susie has literally an orange Heart, but then Kris literally has a red Heart during the combat. That's a little thing, the other ones I really like, the Brave Ax, the ball thing and the queen quote. Oh yeah, now that I think about it, what's your arguemnt against the fact that Kris' soul is literally during combat or during the soul-ripping. How does it correlate with the light-blue then?

I really don't understand why people don't think Kris is patient... Like, sure, they're chaotic, mischievous, and kind of a delinquent, but they're also extremely meticulous. Every single interaction they have with the player seems to demonstrate this, to me at least

The Player pushes the "Ball" aka Story/Plot fowards to the true end, the way to win the game.
And with the Red Flag two, no matter which ending you get in undertale, it's towards the Player, no matter what we do to change the outcome, we'll always be ourselves.
(Genocide has Chara directly call us out on OUR actions, The nertual routes has Sans spefically speak to us as well as Flowey, True Pacifist has Flowey call us out for re-opening the game after we get the True ending & the Genoside Pacifist has Chara appering in place of Frisk to remind us of our actions.)
I agree with the light blue, orange, green and blue souls. I think the purple soul should be associated with Catti and the yellow soul could be either Noelle or Dess, but I'm leaning more towards Dess.
About the purple soul: Catti literally has a VERY similar shade of purple in her sprite. You could say she's "trapped" in her life. She's clearly out of her element in her job, but she perseveres through it. I think we can conclude the UT purple soul human was definitely more reserved (because their weapon and armour give less defence/attack but more invincibility frames, so they probably weren't too inclined to fight; the ball game talks about "taking notes", which to me seems like someone who's observant but would rather watch from afar than fight head-on). Plus, I think that if a single other of Kris' classmates goes to a dark world and plays a bigger role in the game, it will be Catti (I just don't think Snowy, Monster Kid, Jockington or Temmie will be so important).
Now about the yellow: Like I said, I could maybe see it being Noelle (even if you haven't really convinced me with your arguments). The thing is, both Noelle and Dess are obviously important to the story, and if this theory was to be correct, I'm sure one of them would be associated with one of the souls, but probably not both. I'd say Noelle transcends this metaphor with all her connections to angels and such (unless you want to argue about the red soul being the angel or that Noelle getting more confident and independent is her getting more determination, which could mean she's the red soul (which would also fit if you think she's going to be the final boss in at least one of the routes)). Now, we know practically nothing about Dess, but one of the only things we know for sure is that she's very protective over Noelle and doesn't like when Kris lies to or scares her, being quick to punish them by hitting them with a wiffle bat when it happened. You could say she... has a strong sense of justice.
One additional theory I tacked onto this one is the difference between the normal and weird routes. In the normal route, you get to chapter 7 with all your friends and you're all cool. But throughout the weird route, you "lose" one of the souls in each chapter. Not necessarily by killing them, just doing something that would make them less likely to help you (or by killing them like Berdly). Let's say it would look like this (the order is very much speculative (like everything here) so take it with a grain of salt): Chapter 2 - Berdly, Chapter 3 - Ralsei (I know it sounds weird "losing" his so early, but you can say that's where Noelle steps in to take his place, and like you said, Ralsei is the one who tries to keep the game on-track, so if you're consistently going against that, he might give up), Chapter 4 - Catti (who went to the dark world that chapter), Chapter 5 - Susie and Chapter 6 - Dess (these two especially could be swapped places).
Then, in chapter 7 on the weird route, there are two souls left - light blue and red (and again, Noelle would still be in play, so that makes me think even more that she's the red soul to some degree). Then, either Kris and Noelle fight the final boss, or if Noelle is the final boss, Kris alone fights her mano a mano.

But I think that berdly is likely the yellow or orange soul [more probably the yellow sould], bravery or justice.
He has a lot of yellow and orange details in both light and dark world, and its also fairly common for characters to have the main color be opposite of their soul color [blue being opposite of yellow/orange], he views himself as a very just person, or at least puts himself out as one, he acts as what he thinks is brave with queen, where he joins her to help protect Noelle, his statue is gold, he is learning to be sure of himself, his bullet patterns are all very purposeful [in reference to the ball game], berdly is heavily associated with spamton, the just-ice pun also works for him
For the orange soul, the manly bandana i guess could be associated with his wants to be manly or masculine like with the statue, and all the previous bravery stuff i mentioned
Im not certain what he'll be, he could be blue but i feel like he'll be justice or bravery
I also think the associations with the souls could be things the characters are working towards achieving or their opposites being flaws those characters currently have!

the thing with spamton and mettaton is that, all of his references to mettaton NEO were done for a specific reason, it was because mettaton NEO didn't get a real boss fight in undertale. that makes me think this won't be a running theme with the secret bosses
i think its interesting that the three souls that arent the fun gang in deltarune are the three that are playable in undertale, (dark) blue, yellow, and purple
What's interesting is that Patience and Bravery represent opposites within the context of Undertale. For light blue attacks, you need to stay still, while for orange attacks you need to move.
And within Deltarune, all party members have a "guts" stat. Their character growth arguably all has something to do with courage:
* Kris gains a +1 stat boost in "Guts" at the end of Chapter 1, when they defend Susie without the input of the player.
* Susie learns to trust other people. Her cowardice was to face every conflict with violence, and she learns to solve puzzles by herself.
* Noelle gains the most courage, stops fearing mice for example, and by the end, stands up to Queen and leaves the computer lab much more confident. On the weird route especially, she grows stronger and far bolder than even on the normal route.
So in a sense I feel like the journey of the story is to go from the patience soul, to the bravery soul.
My guess for the soul color assignments are much like with Undertale -- Patience and Bravery aren't assigned directly to a specific character, but represent overall concepts moreso.
For the remaining ones, I would pick the main protagonists of the story, without any minor characters:
* Kris: Integrity (or a lack thereof, given that they are split in the control between body and soul)
* Susie: Perseverance (synonymous for determination, Susie gets out of jail on her own and resists the choices of the player)
* Ralsei: Kindness (as stated in the video, niceness and cooking)
* Noelle: Justice (in addition to the points in the video, the only character so far that can "deliver justice" in the cowboy sense -- or in other words, who can kill)
* Player: Red (strongly associated with "Control")

I have my own prediction regarding the souls,and it is that every chapters secret boss will have a mechanic relating to a different soul color. I think this makes sense cause the number of chapters perfectly matches with the number of soul colors,plus we could experience the soul color mechanics Undertale never got to use.

something you might of missed is that the rbg circle thing both purple and yellow are derived from red green and red make yellow blue and red purple, makes sense considering there related as well as their parents might be red souls if they were humans, rudy (what i like to call him) is determined to get through the sickness to be with their family, and while we don't know much the mayor ss very determined to be mayor, to keep her children safe, to be strict, etc another thing where this holds weight is that orange isn't on the RBG circle mixer thing, and susie seems to have a lack of or well not good parents green and blue make patience, toriel while having her issues is very kind or tries to be, and asgore is usually very honest and holds integretiy towards his actions or tries to be which also explaiei being green since it's a rep for asriel and one of asriels parents is (if this is true) green (extra wonder if white souls would be more powerful in this world as in the RGB circle white is derived from all colors except orange)
Something that not a lot of people talk about is the fact that technically there are 2 other kinds of souls, white, or monster souls, and black, or a lack of soul.
There was this video i watched that was about a lot of mini theories, but one part was about the visible light spectrum/cmyk colors and how they are the exact same as the souls (bravery is the odd one out but i specifically think orange is. Supposed to be the stand in for red for cmyk, while still not being the ACTUAL red soul. See dess's clearly orange guitar is described as "red" in the "dess" spamton sweepstakes page tab title). All the monsters don't exhibit just one soul trait and usually have multiple things from multiple of them, the most obvious to point out of this is sans's eye being both yellow AND cyan. White in cmyk is made from all the colors being added up, and black is a lack of all color. Which flowey would be. Something interesting i think is that ralsei has a black heart on his cloak, perhaps he is soulless?
I also have a theory that gaster is soulless, a lot of the evidence for it is like. Not great? Mostly because its not direct but hey we get what we can get with wing gaster the royal scientist. One of those evidences is that he shares a lot A LOT of themes and like. What not with flowey who is similarly soulless. One of these traits is both having access to save files before you came along and them losing that access the moment we start playing. Note the pre chapter 1 save select screen dialogue when you edit saves, its gaestor..
Also unrelated but. i need. More. People to know about this. I've always wondered why asgore's name isnt a pun or anagram like asriel or toriel, and i have a theory. And its kind of nuts?? So y'know how in utdr you can't even fully type gaster's name when naming yourself? Like its just an unsayable name? So anyway uh asgore is 1 letter away from being anagramable to gaster,, gasoer.... something else i noticed: the color associated with TP is orange, also associated with bravery. Susie's spells, Rude Buster, Red Buster and Ultimate Heal require the most TP to use, and the only spell costing more is Snowgrave. not sure if this is evidence or coincidence.

had to catch up on my studies real quick before we get 3/4 any day now. I think the idea of lacking a soul and the goner you make work together in tandem, I feel like them being "deleted" in UT/DR standards relates to the taking of a soul which causes their existence to fall apart. We've seen souls without bodies, bodies without souls has to be something we toy with during the later chapters.

I think that the dark blue soul could represent Jockington as I think he is very likely to appear in a future chapter being a new classmate character with a minor connection to Noel (via Spamton Sweeptakes), he’s blue and from the flag text ‘hopping and twirling’ could relate to his sportiness. Berdly is also a good contender but I don’t think he will play a major role in future chapters as he has already completed his arc and then snowgrave would cause a major deviation to the story potentially contradicting the ‘one ending’ despite the multiple routes to get there.

I guess Kris being Patience and Susie being Bravery makes sense with the order of the souls too, as Kris is the first new character that the player is introduced to, Susie is the second (i think). This idea probably wouldn’t work well for the rest of the characters though, especially if Noelle is Justice.

The ones I had different were Kris as red (this had the weakest justification, as in "I don't know why"), Catti as light blue (putting up with, and somewhere down the line eventually learning to embrace her family), and Asriel as green (he's a great brother. self explanatory). I do very much like the idea of us as the red soul though
My theory was based around as assertion that monsters in Deltarune have fundamentally different anatomies to Undertale, with Deltarune lightners (monsters and humans) being equivalent to Undertale's humans, while the darkners are equivalent to Undertale's monsters, from a story perspective. The role taken by monsters in Deltarune therefore encourages them to be more like humans than they were in Undertale.
Combine that with Susie eating chalk, the lack of magic, Susie's bleeding sprite, etc. I believe some monsters are biological, and not magic. Hots fireguy's clearly still magic in some sense, but I will stand by there being variation
Anyway, I think we're going to see a monster's soul at some point (Susie sealing a fountain perhaps?), and we'll get the reveal that Deltarune monsters have ""human"" souls.
I also could absolutely see a moment where the seven souls combine their powers to defeat the villain of Deltarune, the same way the seven human souls defeated flowey in Undertale
Theres a third mention of all the human souls in order.
The ball puzzle in snowdin has a different order.
It goes light blue, purple, green, blue, yellow, orange, red.
At the end all the atributes are mentioned in the same order, so its not an arbitrary choice.
Also, neither matches the order of the coffins on asgore basement, nor the vasins for the souls, nor the order of the flowers in asgore flower shop.
It neither matches the order of the humans diying.
These are really cool theories. Even if they don't end up being true, they're still very fun to think about!
For me its kris light blue susie orange, Noelle yellow, toriel green, and then im not really sure but toriel being green makes sense since 1 she is connected with kindness 2 she will probably be in chapter 3 (the chapter that the green heart will probably be present) so she will have a similar role to noelle
I don't know about Noelle being justice she didn't really help Kris when Susie was bullying them despite seeing it happen and instead hid in a locker. It also doesn't help that she has been trying to get Kris to switch seats with her not to help them, but to get closer to Susie. I still don't get what she sees in Susie before Chapter 2.
Berdly also is like the opposite of integrity before Chapter 2 epilogue. So I think some of these could be more where their characters are developing towards. So Berdly is learning to be more true to himself (integrity) and Noelle is learning to stand up for herself and others (justice)
There's probably a connection between the stories of the secret bosses and the soul traits. what do we show spamton? justice. What do we show jevil? ball game.
