    India needs to play its cards carefully since nations like China, the United States, and even Russia do not want India to become a superpower. And for those who believe that Russia would always help us, they are mistaken because they do so now because it is in their own national interest to do so.

      Let me make it easier for you they think of India as a pawn in their Geopolitical chessboard and do you really think that in 1971 war USSR would have helped us if USA had not supported Pak?

    In 1970s they lowered interest rate to prevent stagflation like USA. This gave rise to an asset bubble. In 1980s after Plaza Accords, Yen started to rise against US which was troublesome for exporters but great for consumers. When the bubble finally popped all the problems started as even Japanese Banks did not expect the size of the bubble. In Asian Financial Crisis in 90s many Japanese Companies halted Hiring workforce which led to youth unemployment at that time. Now, that youth is now in its 30s and 40s ( The Age Which Spends The Most).Hence they are struggling even further as many people of that youth stopped having children.

    • @JajaborMusic
      @JajaborMusic 2 роки тому +6

      Not enitrely all policies are controlled by them. Majority of them are controlled. Japan supports India mainly because of the same enemy - China. A stronger India is way important for Japan than US. Again, Japan has lot money to invest and they do it in very low interest rates. India is booming economy, returns will be high from the investments. China is their rival nation, that's why China is not their first choice of investment. Again cultural ties through buddhism. If China hadn't been a communist country, they could also have culturally maintained ties with us. But now CCP don't like that. Unlike japan or any other South asian countries Chinese common people doesn't have much knowledge about the outside world. They get feed what CCP want them to get fed.

    I think the explanation is far simpler than some grand conspiracy by the U.S. 1. Japan post war was in a similar state as Germany. German and Japanese products were dirt cheap immediately following WW2. Fun fact, the VW bug and Bus were so popular in the 1960s and 70s because they were cheap and easily afforded by young Americans. in the 1980s and 1990s, Japanese cars were cheaper, more fuel efficient and no one realized how long these vehicles would last. Also, the 1980s/90s was also the Electronics boom in Japan. Many American companies, looking to use cheap labor and less regulations in the US, sourced many electronics from Japan. Eventually Japan (much like China is today) became an Electronics powerhouse. Nintendo, Sony, NEC, Toshiba, Fujitsu, the list goes on and on. became known for high quality products and the cycle began again. The Japanese had a huge increase in their standard of living, and thus, their products are much more expensive to import. Have you tried to buy a Computer made in Japan lately? How about a Car? or a digital camera, or any of the other myriad of products from Japan that became household names in the west. Notice that if they are still made in Japan, they're very expensive, and if they're not, they're likely made in China, just re-branded with a Japanese brand name. This cycle is happening again in China, as China's standard of living is increasing, more and more low-skill, low-cost products are being shipped abroad (Phillipines, Vietnam, etc.) and eventually the high end products will be shipped abroad because Chinese labor will be too expensive and people will ask "What happened to China?" that's likely another decade or two away, but it's coming.

      #1 myth is that he was an atheist. He was definitely not. He simply used some thought experiments to illustrate the extreme dedication and sacrifice for freedom that would be needed. Read his poems which are replete with Hindu themes of karma cycle, rebirth and Goddesses.

    Advanced countries import products made with cheap labour since it gives good profits to multi-national companies and thereby their own countries. If someone else is ready to take up the task, and also the pollution burden thereof these countries would shift allegiance and earlier countries would lose market. Korea, China and Vietnam became the beneficiaries of this strategy. Only way India should proceed is to preserve resources for future generations and export our effort to advanced countries since these countries have a lesser labour force. Even exporting food grains would deplete the soil productivity.

    #AskAbhijit We all know the "debt trap" game played by China which allows it leech off of other countries. Similarly USA is no benign power, do you think that when India becomes a super power would it also employ such shark like policies in its dealings with other countries, or would it genuinely help countries in need without trying to trap them and demolish their economy?

      I guess India would have to provide reward and penalty too. Anyone can turn your friendly neighbour into a Ukraine or Afghanistan so you need to guard against that.
      When countries are weaker they ask you for help & development & technology etc etc. But as soon as they get strong they seek to displace you.
      Think about your question in relation to a particularly hateful neighbour - there would need to be some level of dominance to deter aggressions (for example, notice how the relationship changes when they are indebted today compared to when they are confident about cash streaming from Yanks.

    actually its understandable, plaza accords was a way to show the new kid Japan whose the boss. They self immolated and went for a stagnation route because otherwise they'll get in direct confrontation with US which they do not want because they are too vulnerable both economically and millitarily. In the end they realize that they are but a vassal and they cannot uproot US dominance. Very silently they started sowing seeds in India and China. China was much closer and culturally and geographically also related and so they sought to find a way to get somewhere with them but sadly they were used and harassed, while economic ties might've paid off but they couldn't find similar strategic goals and sourness started spreading when CCP started using anti-Japan Propoganda on a wholesale. Meanwhile India was weak and corruption ridden state with too less of a importance on global stage, it wasn't even a proper market but they still had high hopes to have better ties so they actually patiently spoonfed us, literally threw FREE MONEY at us and they keep doing this over and over in hopes to get a slice of the pie from the Indian Cake. Economic ties alone wasn't the thing they wanted, since economically they are quite a big thing already but their real aim was a reliable partner. Japan seldom has found a good partner, like many of its citizens...its a lonely state...a exceptional, hardworking and rich but very lonely state without actual 'Partners' to speak of, America acts like their boss but internally Japanese pride cannot accept servitude like this. They have waited so long to gradually change things in their constitution, eventually they'll build up their defences, they'll put more focus on weapons and war machines which are very advanced technologically. But they dont want to piss off US, so they just throw money at them first and ask directly for a fleet of F-35s so they are all praises for Japan for knowing their place. Perhaps people overlook it very easily but they are using this Chinese aggression and signing alot of millitary pacts with nations threatened by them. They want to emerge as a reliable regional leader whom people can look towards if trouble arrives and they are trying to encash the anti-reliability factor that US is showing to to prove themselves more trustworthy. US is still hesitant on helping Taiwan, on the otherhand Japan is very clear that if Taiwan falls, they are next and they are prepared for that. They didn't mince any words about helping Taiwan and they've been indirectly pushing US towards this.

      the idea that if taiwan falls japan is next is an entirely fabricated idea, there is no colleration between china and japan compared to china and taiwan, everyone knows why china wants taiwan, because taiwan belongs to china but what does japan have to do with china?? japan is the one who is allowing itself to be pushed into a conflict with china by the warmonger himself, the USA.
