Hello Richard. I would like to also add that I passed my DAA Test for the Royal Navy as a Commonwealth applicant. Your videos are very helpful more so,I like how you go about answering our answers 1 after the other. God bless you.
I have googled so many tests and this one was the only one I came across that was actually made sense. You explained so much to me that all the others didn't! THANK YOU xx
Far out Q28 did my head in🤯 Couldn't figure it out so had to (cheat) and see what others answered, then had to try and come up with how they come up their answer, took bloody ages! I come up with 20 tooth cogs x 40 revolutions which equalled 800 then divided by 5 = 160 damn I would never got that! Feeling dumb 😵💫🤣😂
Richard, Can't thank you enough for all the effort that goes into your videos helping so many people get jobs, conduct interviews ..etc, look forward to more interesting video's on interview methodologies for HR, recruiters Thanks!
I would like to say the answer to Q28. Is D as Cog X has 20 Spokes the medium sized cog had half that which is 10 causing it spin double cog X then causing cog Y to spin double again as it has 5 spokes, making 160 turns. The Answer is D
@@Abdullahpro9433 mainly because you need to spend precious time counting cogs Cogs 20 - 10 - 5 1 large revolution 2 medium revolutions 1 medium revolution 2 small revolutions 1 large revolution 2 medium 4 small revolutions 40*4 160 so unless course I've counted those tiny cogs I cant read.

If you're wanting a lower number than the starting one (IE - A discount) - the multiplication is always below 1 (way to remember - as it gets smaller not bigger lmao) - so take the percentage off 100 or 1 - which is 0.85, times that by your number, quicker and way more efficient.

50th Question answer is A Reason: For a plane to take off in the shortest distance, the wind should blow from the opposite direction of the aircraft's movement, creating a headwind. A headwind increases airflow over the wings, generating lift earlier and at lower speeds. This allows the plane to take off faster and climb at a steeper angle, clearing obstacles quicker.

For anyone who is confused about 50th question. Answer is A. The principle behind this is related to how lift is generated. Lift is a function of the airspeed over the wings. When there's a headwind, the relative airspeed over the airplane's wings is higher for any given ground speed thus giving it a higher lift in at a lower ground speed.
Hi CareerVidz, thanks for the tutoring. I am just wondering for Q3, why can't I choose answer D. Here is what I think. First and Second pictures are both top right, fifth and sixth are both bottom left, seventh and eighth are both top left, ninth repeat as first picture. So I think the third picture should be the same as fourth one.
Same school of though - if look for a pattern scanning left to right - then top to bottom (like reading english) you see that the the stars rotate clockwise two at a time -i.e top-right, top-right, bottom-right, bottom-right (aka D), bottom-left,bottom-left,top-left,top-left, top-right. What I find interesting is that Richard found a pattern that justifies C as the right answer. So question now becomes which of these two hypothesis is the stronger one - and what shoud one do when face with such a dilemma during an actual test

Cog X has 20 teeth, the middle Cog has 10 teeth and Cog Y has 5 teeth. If Cog X turns once then the middle Cog will turn 2 times (i.e. 20 divided by 10 = 2). If the middle Cog turns 2 times then Cog Y will turn 4 times ((i.e. 10 divided by 5 = 2) x2). Therefore if Cog X turns 40 times, Cog Y will turn 40 x 4 which equals 160 turns. Answer D.
For question 12, wouldn't it just be easier to calculate 10% to get 13.5 and then multiply by 2, instead of trying to multiply 1.35 by 20? That would take forever for me hahaha.
Hi and thanks for your efforts Sir, but to be honest, these questions don't make any sense, there is a hidden relation and we need to find this hidden relation so we can answer the question, but this hidden relation should make sense, and should be the only one applicable, this is logic! but as I see in many question, the hidden relation isn't the only applicable, and it's not respected sometimes, like question 3, the second and the third rows have 2 rules, first rule is 2 stars to the left, one star to the right! Second rule is all the three stars are either at the top as in row 3, or at the bottom at row 2. make sense till now, but for the first row, the row didn't respect the rule, so we have two stars at the right!! so why? and if we would say first row is an exception, so 2 stars to the right and the third star is to the left, why first row isn't an exception for the top/bottom rule? so two stars at the top and the third is at the bottom? as I see there's no logic here, and two answers could be correct, rules are not all respected so these tests doesn't make any sense actually, maybe the only part that make sense is math questions, because in math it's only one answer, and it does respect logic, no games with math!
You should provide explanation of the questions you have not provided. Just another way of getting more reach without truly benefiting the audience. Not everybody is equally intelligent to get all of them right.
Q6. C (not D because the question shows the top shape being closer to the bottom left rectangle + triangle pair than the bottom right pair on closer inspection instead of the top shape being equally centred.)

I found that question also troubling. @CareerVidz can you explain why is the C solution for question number 3? I dont see any pattern

You should provide explanation of the questions you have not provided. Just another way of getting more reach without truly benefiting the audience. Not everybody is equally intelligent to get all of them right.
