Q13. It took a bit of time to understand the logic. This is how it is.. Black square pattern 2,3,4,_,6,7 Grey 2,3,4,5,_,7 White 2,3,4,5,6,_ all the missing number of squares are in option A
Just wanted to thank you for your fantastic job. After watching a few videos from your channel I scored 7/10 in Alva’s logic test. Hopefully, it’ll help me get hired, thanks for helping out 🙂
Shouldn't Q3's answer be both A and D? Since if we subtract the numbers horizontally, D is the odd one since all the other options' differences are 18 while D is 21. On the other hand, by subtracting vertically, A will be the odd one as it has a difference of 19 while other options have 18. Furthermore, if we were to observe a pattern by subtracting counter-clockwise, both B and C's numbers decrease by 9, whilst A decreased by 10 (54-44=10) and D decreased by 12 (22-10=12).
For those having difficult time with Q13. Look at the number of black squares in each hexagon. You'll find 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 (series) and the one with 5 black squares is missing. So the answer is A.
Yes you are correct, that combination of squares also goes for the grey and white squares, where the hexagon containing 6 grey squares and 7 white squares is also missing. Hexagon A contains all these missing combinations.
These are great and so helpful. I would love to have immediate answers to the questions you pose for us so that we could be aware of how we are doing then and there. It would also save you a lot of grading. :) Thanks for posting these videos.
Q7 is A) are you agree ? Greats thks for your video. Here is my thinking : first line clockwise, 2nd anticlockwise, 3rd clockwise and 4th anticlockwise, I wrote the small arrows, then I saw that by rotating A) I have the right arrows.
@@jiljoshi1858also found it t to be “A” … look at the white circles. They are increasing (that’s the only pattern I noticed) so the next hexagons should have 7 white circles
for 18 a pattern can also be the fact that in all figure except the c one, 3 multiple signs are at the same colors (figure A - white / figure B - black / figure C - none / figure D - black)
2.) C, the numbers opposite to each other: The smallest number on each side is multiplied by two to get the second number. Eg: 7 *2 is 14 in answer D. C is wrong, 16 multiplied by 2 is not 31. It is 32. 3.) There are 2 odd ones?? A and D. A seems to have a different answer vertically, but D horizontally. My rule I found was that the opposite corners- the biggest number was subtracted by 18 to get the smallest one. This doesn't apply for A vertically, but it doesn't apply for D horizontally. I found out the explanation is that the numbers go down by 9 each time. * 5.) C, the number of sides the shape has is multiplied by 2 to get the number next to that shape in the square. A pentagon was next to the number 12, but that isn't correct as a pentagon has 5 sides. The correct answer should be 10. 7.) A, what I noticed first is that each arrow IN A ROW rotates 45 degrees each time. The top row rotates clockwise, the next anticlockwise and the third repeats clockwise. Each colour also has to appear at least once in a row. Although one colour appears twice. * 8.) B, the black line should not be touching the light grey line nor the grey line. 10.) A, I like to look at the rows in every possible way I can. I found out that if you look at the rows vertically from the top the number of sides are decreasing by one. In each row there is also three different colours. They are each used at least once in these vertical rows. You can infer that the colour has to be red, since there are no reds in the middle column and that the shape has to have four sides. Because the sides are decreasing by one each :). 12.) C, If you look at the shapes, you can see that the number in the hexagon next to the shape inside the hexagon is half of the amount of the shape's sides. The only answer choice that shows this is C. 13.) No, I didn't get it but I figured out how to do it eventually. The answer is A though I won't say I got it right because I found different answers in the comments, but one of them actually explained it. Here's the explanation: the amount of the different colours in the hexagon vary from 2-7 throughout all the hexagons and each hexagon has a specific amount of squares that have a specific colour. Each colour must have a number from 2-7 in separate hexagons. Lets say the hexagons have white squares in the amounts of: 2, 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 but there is 7 white squares missing. That means the unknown square must have 7 white squares. * 15.) A, The square moves from corner to corner in an anti-clockwise motion. 17.) B, the shapes in each row increase by one side from left to right. This is also the case vertically. Colour isn't a pattern here, only a distractor. 19.) C, look at the sides of the shape inside the circle. They all have 8 sides. NOTE TO SELF:( * = I had trouble with this question in the time limit or I just had trouble with the question) This was a great video :)
My reasoning to 10) was looking at the rows: each row has a sequence of [n, n, n-1] by the number of sides of the shapes, and the shapes with the same number of sides have the same color. Therefore the answer was a red shape with 4 sides.
For Question 1 Answer C could also be the odd one out because all the other answers correspond with even or odd numbers. For example the top numbers of ALL the diamonds are even except for C that pattern occurs on every side of the diamond. C is always the opposite of the other diamonds. If they are even C is odd.
@@CareerVidz I agree but answer A is also correct. Anti-clockwise A starts to decrease by 10, and then by 9. So A and D are correct answers (and BTW Richard, I subscribed and bought your book last night - finished already, nice reading)

There is a fault in question 3 isn’t there? Option A starts with 54 - 44 and that makes 10 instead of 9. So not only D is the odd one but also A I’m guessing.
Here’s the pattern for 13: Look at the grey dots. Top right is 2, top left is 3, and top centre is 4. Then we see that bottom right is 5 and bottom centre is 7, that means that bottom left is 6. The pattern is linear, right-to-left-to-centre, top to bottom. The right answer is A.

If you look for example for the number of the little black squares in each big square, you cann see that one square has 2 black sq., 3 black sq., 7 black sq., 6 black sq. and one has 4 squares. So you have 2,3,4,6,7. You see that one number misses so that you have a pattern from 2-7. and its the number 5. So in the missing square it has to have 5 black squares . And this pattern you also can see for the white and grey little squares.

In 18 you have a secondary logic, because C is also the only one that does not have a sign that comes three times with a common colour. A and D have 3 black Xs and B has 3 whites Xs, but C doesnt have a pairing trio.

Q3 I get the that the answer is D because subtracting the opposites give you the number 18, however A might have an error because subtracting 35 from 54 gives you 19 not 18 so there might have been an error in the question maybe?

sir I understand you want to sell your products on your website, but you should add the answers to the examples you put in the video, its nonsense to have a test example without knowing the correct answer, I don't understand as well how many people add their answers if they will never know if they are right or wrong.. they are left in the nimbo.. Im sure more people would but your online if you would add the answers.. in between you lost me as a customer...
Agreed.
Absolutely right. He is doing this intentionally so he can sell at the same time
@@Sunny-cx3xg the nerve! 😂

I found the answer to the 1st question by 10 and B was the only answer that equalled 9
Could you pls explain Q13 because I don't rlly get it.
Thx
If you look for example for the number of the little black squares in each big square, you cann see that one square has 2 black sq., 3 black sq., 7 black sq., 6 black sq. and one has 4 squares. So you have 2,3,4,6,7. You see that one number misses so that you have a pattern from 2-7. and its the number 5. So in the missing square it has to have 5 black squares . And this pattern you also can see for the white and grey little squares.
Q18. Couldn't the answer be letter A?
White symbols always come in two "x" and one "+"
Except for A, where they come in three "x" and no "+"

2.C
3.A and D
No. 7 is B
@@CareerVidz why question 5 is C
@@CareerVidz Q10 - A ?
for question 2, I will answer with "C" being the odd one, the reason for this is because every other answer is half of its opposite, unlike "C."
for question 3, I think "D" I don't quite have an explanation on why, it is just what my mind is pointing to is "D."
for question 5, the answer I got is "C" because every number of the sides is the number on their corners but halfed.
for question 7, I answer "B" because atleast one black arrow is pointing at grey arrow at every corner of the whole square.
question 8, The answer I got is "B" for all its lines align with the other lines making different sizes of squares.
for question 10, the answer I got is "A" for every row there is two shapes with the same amount of sides and one with the same amount but minus one(hope that makes sense.)
Q3: D
Correct!
But why??
@@shellbell6019 I think if you summ all of the squares inside each hexagon the total number is 11 in each one. And the only option that has 11 squares inside is the letter D.
@@vladimiroliveira1184 ok, thank you so much for the explanation!

7 is c, 10 is a, 12 is c, 13 is c, 15 is A
How do you work out Q7 plz? thank you
Q8: B
Correct!
12-C
In 18 you have a secondary logic, because C is also the only one that does not have a sign that comes three times with a common colour. A and D have 3 black Xs and B has 3 whites Xs, but C doesnt have a pairing trio.

@@CareerVidz in 9th one its the water image not mirror
In the first question, couldn't one reasonably argue that C is the odd one out, since its the only one with an odd number in the top square?
Q3 I get the that the answer is D because subtracting the opposites give you the number 18, however A might have an error because subtracting 35 from 54 gives you 19 not 18 so there might have been an error in the question maybe?

Q8:A
10 the answer is B
I was confident before I did this. The answers to the test questions need explanations.
Q7:A,B,C
I think Q4 is B, it has only one blue color while the rests have two.
For question # 4 all squares should total 23 option A does not. Very easy
Also the numbers in the corners coincide with the number of sides for each shape. A incorrectly states 2 for a four sided shape.
