@@LOFIRIDEI'm pretty sure you have to drill out a pop rivet or something to get it out. I bought my bike second hand with the db killer already removed. As for the sound, I compared it to the MT-09 of a friend of mine. His bike has the Arrow system (also with db killer removed), and the Akra is waaaaay louder. Too loud IMO, so I put the db killer back in. The sound is nice, but I get temporary tinnitus after just a few minutes of riding. I kind of wanna be able to ride without always using ear plugs.
The pattern that the exhaust fumes come out visually is so friggin cool man
