HOLY F#%^* SHIT!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! I’ve listened to this song record version n 150 different live versions about 5,000x in 30 years? N this just blew me away lije hearing for the first time or something. Idk , I’m sitting hear watery eyed Cus my dad had passed suddenly from a heart attack few years ago-So for first 20 yrs I listened for the pure awesomeness and masterpiece that the song was- last few yrs I relate on a personal level- So to hear this original , young Ed with that roar 🦁 but coated with raspy soft subtleties , and his emotions. Just AMAZING!! He’s the best singer in rock history. His range n different styles/ deliveries are SO UNDERRATED it’s frustrating and criminal. Just Cus some clowns came shortly after finding their voice by copying his one style all the stuff he does they don’t n couldn’t do gets overlooked. Like his Do The Evolution delivery or Given to Fly to go with like Indifference n Not 4 You.. To like the Fixer n his Love Reign’Oer Me cover.. To the solo stuff. The warm campfire , folk delivery. Now the one constant on each and every delivery style is the EMOTION he sings with. Like you know he’s TRULY feeling in his soul what he’s singing!!
