Just picked some blackberrys got home washed them and one of these guys came up to the top of the bowl swinging his arms side to side never seen one before cool little thing good thing I did not make him into jam with the blackberrys
excellent video. i found after seeking info on a yellow spider who eats bees, because I saw one on my multi-headed sunflower who had captured a bumble bee. I took lovely photos, but didn't know what it was.
Chris YTFC Just found one on my lavender bush and I tried to turn it yellow with a dandelion. It wouldn’t get on the flower tho and I didn’t wanna bug him/her anymore than I already did
I want some tips on fliming and finding crab spiders. I live in the UK and I have been searching for these crab spiders, especially Common Crab Spider and Misumena Vatia (flower crab spider).
I guess it depends on where you live and a little bit of luck. I have read about crab spiders and seen them in documentaries but have only ever seen one in my entire life. And that was on a daisy in my backyard in South Australia some time during the 1990s or early 2000s. I managed to record it on super 8 movie film. I also saw it catch an insect meal but didn't get that particular moment on film.
I used a canon rebel t3i with a 300mm lens and macro-tube. This is in North America, I've never filmed European wildlife (aside from birds from the airport) so I cant help you there. If your crab spiders are similar, look for a bunch of bugs hanging from the bottom of flowers in silk.
Even when pollinating flowers the honeybees are never safe from predators. This is a perfect example of a dnagerous arachnid threat that lurks on the flowers just waiting to strike.
1:08 thays isn't a bee because it has 2 wings bees have 4 this is a fly who has evolved to look scarier to other insects so basically its making it look the the other bees its doing work
Ԑʀc 'D Gab'O in our province we call it green or white william depending on its color. And for us, it releases an electric from its front feet, and when they crab its prey its prey will paralize and die imediatly.
Far be it from me to police spiders 🕷! I was merely expressing that my sympathy was with the 🐝. I will take you at your word that you won’t get angry and say we have different world 🌎 views. I believe we are made in the image of God which gives each of us great worth. However, we have a great responsibility to take care of the rest of creation. I’m so embarrassed 😳 and ashamed that through ignorance and indifference many of us who should know better destroy rather than preserve. 😬 Have a good day! 🌿
You are so underrated, I love watching spiders hunt.
I kinda feel bad for the spider when the bees flew away. And I don't even like spiders that much! Great video! :D

This was the most relaxing video ive ever seen in my life
So this spider just sit around all day waiting for lunch to come to him, while this bee working his ass off putting bread on the table for his hive.
She, both the spider and the bee are female 😉
I mean the spider is fattening up so she can produce eggs and spend 1 month without eating just protecting her eggs.

You did not want to try and kill it? I don't want to loose any bees if I can avoid it ever!!
@@donaldlyons17 if it’s caught the bee, it’s already over
Wish I could see the photos
Those spiders can change color if it gets near to any kind of color of flower just like chameleon
ohhhh waooo
No, just yellow and white. The spider is white and produces a yellow pigment to disguise it against yellow flowers. It can't change to other colours.
@@chrisytfc879 just because it has limited colour change doesn't mean it can't change colour.
They can't change color, they are limited to yellow pigments.

Beautiful spider

Ya i seen one in my garden today, never seen one? Do they bite? Are they poisoning to humans? It was eating a flying insect! WA state
Mrssea Sea no. That kind of spider is not dangerous and not an aggresive one unlike the other spider.
Crab spiders can't even break skin (except the giant crab spider)
Some of the “bees” here aren’t even bees, they’re hover flies
correct
That was an epically beautiful video.

I learned about this in the book 📖

Spider needs to move more slowly. Get closer to the bee first by moving slowly, and then strike.
Interessant!
Not a lucky little spider not catching anything. You should see the white and purple one I have in my garden. When I see he has a bee.
A have one or two of these on ny rose and they has a staggeringly high success rate✌️
keep practicing
They can change color!
but it takes 2 days
Is this spider poisonous?
@@עילי-י1ר I don’t know, I probably wouldn’t eat one if I were you. Venomous? Probably not enough to effect you
It’s not very good, is it? At hunting I mean
Impossible how did you found that
Come friend, amazing.
If I ever encounter a genie in the first thing I'm wishing for is that everyone in the world had Arachnophobia second that spiders had wings
Just saw one today in finnish
Plenty of pollinators on that tansy. The spider practically matches the flowers. He needs to go after some garden pests. Not 🐝!
