How To Craft A Life You Don't Need to Escape From
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 чер 2024
- Many of us struggle with discontent and burnout, and look forward to those precious few times a year that we can leave it all behind. But here's a thought: rather than seeing vacation as your annual opportunity to escape life… craft a life you don’t need to escape from. This is not necessarily easy to do. But it is entirely possible.

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that my new book, Things That Matter, is finally here. I put my heart into it, and I can’t wait to share it with you. You can pick up a copy at www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/676394/things-that-matter-by-joshua-becker/
I read a sample on my Kindle and LOVE what i have read so far.
Amen. As hearing impaired, your speaking is great!
Thank you, Josh for creating this content!!
Dear brother,
I have been listening to you for a year now. The matter and the manner of your messages are very useful for me who is in English teacher.
Though I love to have a copy of this book, I admit I can't afford it.
Listening to you is enough. That strengthens me and my eng.
Praise the Lord
1:32 1. Make relationships a priority in life.
2:27 2. Remove unnecessary possessions in your life.
2:57 3. Make your work (passion, etc) your job (to pay bills).
3:49 4. See your job as part of your work.
5:04 5. Guard your time.
5:46 6. Take care of yourself.
6:42 7. We need to appreciate the season of life that we are in.
8:01 8. Accept the reality that there are trials in life. There is no perfect life. In any trial, try to find what's good in it.
9:14 9. Know that you can experience happiness every single day. Happiness is not to be chased after; it should be recognized/discovered in the place where you are right now.
Love ❤️ it when people do this!
It saves so much time!
Thank you Powerligic 13
Thanks so much for the quick summary!
Thank you for listing it out. I comprehend better when I see/read it.
Thank you
Thank you powerlogic. Your list is very helpful.
I am not a church goer, but this feels like a nice little sermon. I enjoy the slow but clear way you speak, without any music or other distractions.
🙏 Amen
👍
He use to be a pastor.
It's because he used to be a pastor. Now he has a much better job... He Shepherds all of us and ministers to all of us... a much larger and more satisfying congregation, wouldn't you say?! 😉😉🙃🙂😊😇
Joshua, exactly as my husband and I feel, we see so many of our friends and family always trying to get away, and take vacations, or long weekend trips, trying to slow down from their busy, complicated lives.
The pandemic has added such stress to them because they can’t travel and get away, yet my husband and I love being home, and don’t feel the need to escape, we find there is no place like home, we feel serene and peaceful at home. We realized during the last few months, being home, and under quarantine it was just a time to relax and enjoy our home and treat it as a staycation
Very, very well said! Same here for hubby and me.
CJ DUNROVIN we love to walk the trails, and pack a lunch, at the end of the nature trail is a outdoor cabin, set up for picnics, with a view of a beautiful lake, we find that a quiet escape and fun to do, 5 min from home.
Your so right, nothing as beautiful and calming as a lake 😀
Well said.
The pandemic was a blessing. People didn't die from covid, they died from fear.
Happy to hear your situation
@@YNYNYNYNYNYN Obviously you don’t work in the medical field.
Happiness isn't getting what you want - it's wanting what you've got. 🧘
Sounds like a line from the Sheryl Crow song "Soak Up The Sun."
Found that quote on
( of all things ) a lighter, back in the 70s. I appeared to be the only one who thought it made complete sense.
It’s funny, I never even thought about vacations when I see that quote; my mind always goes to those distractions people use to escape for little amounts of time: gaming, binge watching tv, substance abuse, hours of scrolling social media, etc. Vacations strike me as part of a well rounded life, not an escape from life.
Yes! Escape is not exactly confined to 2 weeks on holiday. In my case, it can be letting the chores pile up while doing "other things" then dreading the maintenance of daily living since it is now an overwhelming mountain of mundane tasks. This is where I am, caught in negative feedback loop of procrastination and delay until the doing is unavoidable. Per depression I have learned that I like a clear clean space and I need more time and energy to keep it in place as I age. Minimalism is great for the aging population as it keeps the daily tasks within our growing limitations (that growth can be voluntary as well as involuntary). Ultimately my aim is to make accomplishing those mundane tasks holy, thereby in my example creating a life worth living not requiring escape. An embrace of the mundane, acceptance that it is part and parcel of the whole, integral to the happy contented accomplishment of "keeping it together" in a healthy manner.
I agree yet disagree, it all depends on the person. I know a couple, one had kids, one didn't. They are married. They have to go away every 3 mos., yet we
never hear what they do at home. Josh put it in words, escaping because over there will make them happy. Booze is their friend as well. They'll include
kids if it involves food/booze like a big family party. They don't go to parks to sit or play, or take grandkids, or take a nice walk. Sad, it always involves their happiness.
Walking was a painful therapy after a serious heart issue, so person stopped that. Now, back to the parties, booze..which was what gave person the heart issue.
Sorry, if I sound so judgemental, its just sad, that we could play games etc or relate better but we don't.
P.s. Ashley, I was able to get to the ocean last year w/ spouse and youngest child. It was Heaven on Earth when we got out of our vehicle, and smelled the ocean.
It was beyond happiness to view the ocean, as we approached, and the first hints of hearing the waves roll into the surf. I only wished I used my phone to record the
sound !!! My youngest liked it too. As we turned to leave a few days later, it was hard to say good bye, and I began to walk away, I turned and my
child couldn't turn away from the ocean. Such an exciting life lesson. Thank you, God Bless you Ashley and you too JOSH for all your hard work to share with us !!!!
That has to depend on our idea of "vacation", just before Corona appeared, "vacation" had actually just become another product that was consumed. Experience, and/or rest and recreation seemed to have moved onto other levels, or simply weren't on the plate anymore - that's certainly not true in every case, I'd go with 50% though. See, when people are gaming, watching TV, drink too much, smoke too much, eat too much, spend hours scrolling down social media, at some destination that's not their home, they may have even forgotten what they wanted to escape from. It's a mad world, peeps, n/k.

I feel that you were talking to me I lost my husband in July we were married 39 years he was 81 I am 80, I just had knee replacement in October and face another knee replacement in April. So I am not really finding any joy but after listening to you and you have such common sense for a young man it’s help me to look at myself and the reality of my life. It’s not my perfect stage of life by any means I’m trying to find my way I do have a loving family that live a distance away one in Hawaii son and one son in Georgia and I live in Florida. I had thoughts of selling everything and moving to Italy then I would be happy rightBut honestly I don’t have the energy for it, I will have to try harder to find my way thank you for your talk best wishes to your family Jeanne
I'm sorry to hear about your husband Jeannie. Thank you for the warm words, they made my day. Wishing you the best on your decluttering journey.
Be healed, be encouraged in the powerful name of Jesus, peace over you
You are an amazingly effective communicator. Thank you for all you do.
Yes thank you so much your very motivating and inspiring.
I love how he doesn’t add clutter to his talk! It is so refreshing. It is also respectful of his subscribers’ time.
A natural teacher 👍
“Craft a life that you don’t need to escape from” I love that quote. To me that means to enjoy your life every day and not wait for a specific time during the year (vacation) to do so. I still take vacations but enjoy the “now” daily.
EXACTLY!!! As a minimalist, like you are Joshua, I am starting to be content with my life. I do not wait vacation, and once received, I travel Finland. I plan to stop traveling abroad for vacations with a pricetag. Today I took a bus to nearest big city to one direction and saw three museums. I mean with street food and tickets included €50 for an amazing day. Weekend in different city with motels can be made for less than 100 daily street food included. Why to wait vacation and airplanes, hotels and stuff. Too expensive week plus wasted hours on airports.
Support local, enjoy return! I see no point in giving VAT to another countries. This way you can return that money for yourself.
Thank you Joshua, at a time where I've been feeling I am drowning in commitments and just cooking dinner and heading to bed each night; this has been a timely reminder to appreciate life and live, not just existed.
“ See your job as part of your work”
“ something good we are doing for others”
This is so true. It gives true meaning about your life.
Yup, thats how we have designed our lives and home. Truth be told when on vacation (depends where) we really can't wait to get back home.
Love this quote I read years ago:
Isn’t it funny how “I can’t wait to get there” always turns into “it’s so good to be home”
We do love to go on vacation and see new places and eat local foods. However, I had thought about taking my husband on an overnight trip soon for our anniversary. I started looking up prices and they just seemed to high. I'm not a minimalist but I've been decluttering and simplifying my life. I realized that our bedroom is always tidy, peaceful, and tastefully decorated. It's nicer than a hotel room. Not as high end, of course. But we love it. We have our hobbies that we enjoy here at home. We already planned to go out for supper. Now if we want we can also go out for breakfast and just stay home and enjoy our peaceful environment.
I live a simple life in a home that I love, which allows me to do what I enjoy the most: travelling to open my mind to different cultures, enjoy experiences, and make new connections. It’s not an escape, it’s an enrichment. I don’t need to track my time, as I decluttered anything that was not valuable to me. This way I have a lot of free and flexible time to do the things I love 😉
Psychologists say people need at least one week vacation a year. Many jobs are boring or people are not as fortunate to have a computer or device to listen to this podcast and in the past France and other European Countries had two hour lunches and one or two month vacations. Too much technology and stress today !
Fortunately for our family, vacation has never been an escape. Vacation continues to be a wonderful time of family and experience😍 thanks for your insights!
When I was growing up my family took a trip somewhere quite often. What was so ironic was that It was fun, but it was a joy walking into our house after. It seemed to be alot nicer after we had been on the road for a week. Vacations are OK, but home is better.😏
We moved into our dream home this week, and so I feel this quote on a spiritual level! Here’s to no longer feeling a need to escape - hope everyone else in the comments section can make that happen for themselves as well. 🥂
Congratulations with the home of your dreams!
Tania Travel Thank you so much! I can’t wait to share more videos of it. 🤩
I feel the same way, funny thing is, had I Minimalists and not filled our previous home with clutter, they too could have been our dream home. Staying home has not bothered us at all though we traveled a lot prior to COVID....
I like my life. I love my husband, dog and family, our tiny apartment... I like my job. Most days I even love it. Some others are tough, and I remind myself that if jobs were a bliss we would do them for free! And I like my routines except for some small things like running errands when I am tired. BUT I really am looking forward holidays, weekends and vacations. I love travelling, having free time, loose schedules and sleeping without an alarm. So I like my routine and vacationes are a wonderful stimulus
Great answer. We need balance. I think Joshua's point is that too many people just live for vacations and don't enjoy their life in between.
I am in love with this channel. ❤ The content is wonderful and the videos always seem to cleanse my soul haha. 😍😇 Everytime I feel overwhelmed, I just click and binge watch Mr. Becker's videos to allow me to come towards a calmer state of mind. 😭 Thank you for being an inspiration to us all sir. ❤ I wish you more success with this channel!
I needed this now. It has been a very unpleasant "season" of life and I think I need to listen to this message everyday for a while. Thank you.
Wonderful video! So spot on. I've traveled a lot as my father was a commercial pilot. Later I traveled on my own. I learned a lot because the traveling was about seeing other cultures and staying away from the tourists spots. Having experienced trials of life and traveling, has molded my life big time.
I returned home to Nova Scotia from where I was adopted in 08. An urge I ignored far too long. I started rebuilding my life and love what I have now. Having been homeless twice, due to trusting the wrong people, having a roof over my head is key and I treasure it with all my heart. But where I live completes the dream. Living in a tiny A Frame cottage overlooking a small lake, in a small town, feeds right into my life as a writer. (under a pen name) Total peace. I'm writing this over a year after you made this video so the pandemic is still raging. I never once felt the need to leave here or felt couped up.
Living a life you don't want to escape from is total liberation. Total peace. Total contentment.
Love the life we live. Love this! I find myself wishing things were the way they were before but I am in a new season of life. I will remind myself this often. God has a plan for me in this season.
I feel same way. Have to be grateful everyday!
This is by far one of my favorite videos you've made 💕
Excellent, well done. This message needs to be shared with everyone we know. God bless you and your family.
"A goal without a plan is just wishful thinking." Thanks for the gem Josh. 💎
Powerful truths . I have followed a few of these points in my life, but one especially touched me today in a way that I feel is a permanent shift in how I feel and think about a job. I was thinking, “Why couldn’t I have figured this out on my own? Why didn’t someone teach me this earlier?” There is no “Why” There only is what is now. The teacher came when I was ready. Thank you for sharing these important points Joshua.
P.s. I like your talking slower. It helps me to comprehend and absorb what is important.🙏🏻
Thank you Joshua! Such an important message, especially now. With Covid-19, who knows when a vacation will even be possible. For myself, I find living in an attitude of gratitude every day gets me through with a peaceful heart. Staying in the moment. Acceptance of what is happening now, not in the past or the future. I am working on myself so that I can build a better tomorrow, not just for me, but for those around me. Blessings all❤
I like your reply. I too am working on myself. I love how you said to "build a better tomorrow."
Yes, I came to the conclusion a few years ago that the meaning of life really is to love and to be loved. That's really what it is. It's cool to hear somebody else saying it.
I'm certainly not the only one. But it's helpful to hear it as many times as possible in a world that seems very self-serving at times.
Thank you Joshua...you hit home for me on so many points. In my 7th decade I've heard and known these things, yet returning to these nuggets I feel like I'm getting them for the first time...or see, feel and hear them more clearly. Coming across your youtube channel is a perfect gift right now. The last year and a half has magnified the realization of how much I'm living with. I've joked with friends that I feel like I'm living in a museum, or second hand store! I listened to another Minimalist podcast recently where they described different styles of hoarding. I felt uncomfortable recognizing I have been living different versions of that, but the one that struck home mostly was the 'organized hoarder'...as I looked around at boxes and cupboards and shelves, the basement and garage and saw previous efforts on my part that made it seem like I had handled the chaos, but in fact had only boxed and labelled and sorted, a sham that gave me questionable temporary satisfaction. This phase I called: 'rearranging the Titanic'. So thanks again for your work, your clarity and practical small steps for new habits. I too love life, and know its time to set myself free of unnecessary clutter.-
Yes! Wherever you go, there you Are. Great points, well said. Thank you!
Everyone doesn’t have close relationships.....I never fit in, trying to fit in for me was like pushing a square into a circle. I’m an introvert who is actually introverted, I love people I just feel better when they’re not around and I don’t have to talk too much, monitoring what I say all the time. I socialize when I need to, and I enjoy my life that way....💐
Thank you so very much for this video. I'm a bereaved parent and empty nester (my surviving daughter and 3 grandchildren moved to Ireland after my littlest's passing). This video/information is helping me come to terms and find how to enjoy this phase. I've listened twice and am about to listen for the third time. Thank you~
Appreciate the season is a really good help. I really struggle doing it.
Love the season of life metaphor. Be in the season in life that produces fruit, that fruit may produce a seed for another fruitful life
Thank you very much..i really need this motivation right now.. mommy with kid under 3 and a newborn, housewife and also a phd student. Having no income is hard. I always try to learn and be grateful in many ways.
Alright, I'm only 5 minutes into this video, but I'm pausing it right now to forward it on to my loved ones and sweet friends! Gosh, we all need this! It's funny how just a shift in your mindset can change EVERYTHING! I just told my husband the other day that I realized we can live one day in SOOO many different ways. With a good attitude or with a bad one, being grateful or focusing on the junky things. I know we can't prevent some negative things from happening, but we CAN decide how we'll deal with them and WHAT we'll be mindful to be grateful for! I feel like life doesn't just have to HAPPEN to us... we can be present in it and work to making it more of what brings us joy every day! Thank you very much for this video.
So true. Have vacations to enjoy them and experience other cultures, spend time with love ones, etc. Enjoy the here and now 💞
Thanks, Joshua. It's what I call living an authentic life which, thankfully, I am. Enjoy all your posts!
I was just mentioning it has been over 20 years since I went on a vacation. Now that we have a health epidemic, that well earned vacation will have to be placed aside. I really enjoy the spiritual message to your videos. God bless you!
Thank you so much. Your words are so encouraging and uplifting. May God continue to bless you and your lovely family always 🙏👏😇
This 🙏:
Praise God for this!!! I just quit my really well paying job to work for my church . Don’t regret it at all!
This video helped me immensely by helping me rediscover the path I need to be on to continue my journey of living a life of embracing the reality of our imperfect lives. That life is not measured by always trying to analyze the loss, sadness, difficulties and pitfalls of life and the endless search for happiness only to find that it is just a matter of living. It happens to all of us. Your words have really moved me to know after all of these years after losing my mom when I was so young, that I didn't have to piece my world together and to make it perfect so I wouldn't feel loss like that again. You have helped me beyond words. Thank you so much❤
While I love the message, I also enjoy visiting national parks and learning about history, geology, etc. And I enjoy bird watching, and not every bird is in my local area. (I loved visiting my SIL in Alaska and viewing the birds there, and I even saw a mother moose with her two babies.) Sometimes I plan vacations to coincide with concerts or art exhibits that will be in a different city. I love my life at home where I garden and cook. Traveling doesn't provide an escape from my life, it enhances it.
So true about the seasons of life! If only you had been around when we were in the 'acquistion phase' of life. Now in the empty nest phase you realize the importance of paring down and simplifying our stuff and time. Keep up the good work!
Number 7 hit home for me.
Thank you for another brilliant video. You can definitely tell even by your face expression that this topic is very important and dear to your heart. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
I loved looking at his eyes. I hadn't really noticed them before. So sincere.
This was very sage advice; a really compact compendium of wisdom!
We will be constantly unhappy if we have unrealistic expectations of life that cannot be met. As a former Australian prime minister put it: life wasn’t meant to be easy.
As for going on a holiday to escape from your life; this doesn’t work because: wherever you go, there you are.
As for chasing happiness; this too is an exercise in futility, since it is something you have to be open to receive. It is not something you can do or get for yourself, but is something you receive by being attentive to others.
As my mother, who recently passed away aged 99.9 years and had lived through the many vicissitudes of life, used to say:
If joy to others you impart, it will return to your own heart.
Is so true you have to be happy within. You don't need a vacation to be happy. Life is to short to just be happy only when you escape.
Congrats...we moved into our dream home 15 years ago and I still love coming home, and honestly would rather be here than on vacation. I wished on our starter home we had researched and renovated it and we would have enjoyed it more, but I love our log home.
Thank you . I am in the process of decluttering and mostly because of your advise. I realise that I have things in my apartment that I don't even know where they came from. Every week I donate 2 to 4 bags of things I don't use at all. It's coming along but it will take alot more
I realised that I was too ashamed to alow the minister to visit when I was ill , that was the ah ha moment so thanks again for your advise.
I really enjoy your videos. I am not a minimalist, yet. The Lord gives us the true joy that our circumstances can not destroy.
Blessings to you and your family.
Wonderful message!
Being home with my husband and 3 girls during March through July has been a gift in many ways. My husband and I start a new school this year, again we are together in the same school. We find our home to always be a place we love coming home to. Slowing down our life made a huge difference.
God Bless!
P
This is one of my favorite vids so far!!! Thank you!!!! I’m an inspiring minimalist now. Keep them coming!❤️
I needed to hear this message. Thank you for explaining each point so well. Awesome message!!!
Wonderful! All 9 of these points spoke to me and at a time when I needed them most! Thank you for all you do!
Awesome video as usual. Thank you for continuing to inspire xxx ❤️
Seriously, my Sat AM repeat. I need to hear it many times over - maybe I’m crazy. Click on Joshua Becker and hit PLAY, my Saturday loops keep me going. It’s my reminder. Joshua thank you for being you and helping other become their real self.
Love the perspective. Thanks
Thank you! I appreciate your wisdom.
I find this very helpful joshua, im a nurse and i was diagnosed to be covid positive yesterday. today is my 2nd day in the hospital, thank you for this video and thank you for being a blessing to others... Godbless you and your family.
My favorite becoming_minimalist video to date. Great points. The point made about work vs. job and also embracing the season of life we're in really hit home.
Coincidentally, I have never wanted to go on a vacation as that's more tiring I feel.
I have always found solace at any place I've lived, rented or owned and am enjoying this lockdown phase. 😇😬
Never looked at vacation as an escape 😁
Excellent video and realisation for those who do so👏👏
I’ve written your quote “Happiness isn’t something to be chased after, it’s something to recognize and discover in the place that you are right now.” in my Gratitude Journal to reflect upon during this somewhat confusing time . What shape is my life is going to take post pandemic? It’s not clear right now so I’ll remind myself to continue to seek happiness in the moments that are happening today.
Good for you Sheila. That's great advice.
Joshua Becker Thank you 😊
Excellent advice! I love the quotation and will think about it some more. During this time of quarantine, enjoying time at home with those who are around you is so valuable. Many thanks for another great video.
Thankyou so much I needed to hear this Joshua !
This is so true thank you 😇
Wise words indeed - being a constant student of self improvement, most of these weren't new to me yet I often forget them, yet they are so important for a happy and contended life. I found the point of making my job my work helpful, I must admit I haven't been seeing it that way, and with a job you don't enjoy that much, it helps to give it a sense of value as well as giving some feeling of self empowerment, with you in the driving seat of choice rather than being owned by the job. Great video Joshua, enjoyed it 😊
I Appreciate My Life but, still need to plan vacations. I Thank you Sooo Much for This Magic Video.
WOW!!! Thank you Joshua May God bless you
What a timely message. My husband and I love to travel because we enjoy the experience, not to escape our lives. But even so, with no travel anytime soon and not even being able to go to a restaurant, it's more important than ever to focus on the life we live at home. My husband has taken up an old hobby during this pandemic and has turned the area under our stairs into a hobby room so he can build models. I'm taking the month of August off social media to write the first draft of my book. I've also started planning our retirement home. We miss certain things right now but are still quite content under the circumstances.
Great tips and advice. Thanks
for sharing this Joshua.
I love your videos, thank you so much for providing us with excellent content always. This video has been one of my favorites so far. God bless you and greetings from Chihuahua, Mexico.
Great point. It's scary when you don't feel comfortable at home on a staycation.
Me too, embrace the empty nest and be proud of the wonderful son that we raised.
I came across JB during my search for decluttering inspiration and video. Listening to Joshua has widened my perspective on decluttering and I realise minimalism can be a positive lens through which to view so many aspects of life, nit just possessions. Joshua is very clear balanced in his approach. There is a kindness and understanding underlying his messages. What puzzles non Americans is this - if you have such grounded, clear , intelligent and compassionate individuals there , how did you end up with DT vs JB as your best choices to run your country????
Dear Joshua, you are a brother, father, uncle, friend that we all need. I was a flight attendant for many years. I love going places because I can explore, take pictures to post on social media lol. But very quickly, I felt so lonely and realize that my heart is where my parents are. Where my cat is. Where my beloved family is. It felt so lonely to experience new places without having my family to share it with me. I would rush home to be with my cat, and hug my mom and tell my dad how much I loved him. I find so much of peace when I am home, just holding my cat in my arms, the silence, appreciation of time with my loved ones has so much of joy that nothing can be compared. There is so much of peace, and happiness, that strengthens the soul and calms the mind.
Look for the good in the trial that your in is what I am currently doing after breaking a hip a week ago at 60. It was so tough at first but I keep coming back around to the incredible people from the paramedics and hospital staff and my boyfriend who have been such a blessing to me. Great video as always.
I love my life maybe that's the reason I never feel the need to go on vacations,
me too i prefer at home
6:50 is what I just need to tell myself in 2022. Thank you, Joshua Becker! Blessings!
Oh my goodness, so much wisdom here.... thanks for sharing!
Excellent advice and even the things I knew I will appreciate more. Thank you, thank you, thank you. X
So true! Some of my thoughts! but you made them clear! Thank you♥️
Taking my valuable time to comment right now 🙂 Thanks Joshua, great reminders🙂
Thank you Joshua, I really LOVE your minimalism tips videos. Keep on doing this.
Thanks for producing such good and positive video. God bless you and your family.
You are such a Pastor whether you are behind the pulpit or not! God bless you!!! I thank Him for you and your messages!
Wow this is mind blowing. Totally going to work on it
I actually feel more stressed on vacations which is why I don't take them often. They mess up my routine. We'd rather stay home and cook together.
You are absolutely right. I want my home to be a Resort in your own home. Especially with covid travel ban and social distancing.
This might be my favorite video you have made so far!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡
I often quote to family and friends to “live your best life”, but I really like the 9 points, you have outlined here, to “craft a life that you don’t need to escape from”. They are a clear road map to help make that a reality.
I particularly liked what you had to say about the difference between our work and job, it has helped to change my mindset. Thank you. 😊
I love this! A suggestion for your app- maybe have an option where we can get a notification once a day with one or two tips like these for a better minimalist life. I would love getting a reminder like that. 💜
I appreciate that idea. And it's definitely one we have considered building into the app.
Iam Moroccan . I adore the way you speak slowly . You are very clear and focus . Bravo.
Thank for this amazing lesson .
Hind from Casablanca
You were a God send in this video. Exactly the message I needed. Thank you. I am sharing.
I love to have my cup of tea in the morning looking out into my tiny garden and all the wildlife it invites for my joy ❤ I'm blessed in so many ways and I'm most grateful everyday. I laughed when you said a life you don't want to escape! I don't have a valid passport since 2018 and I've no want to go anywhere else right now, most people think I'm nuts 😂 I'm just blissfully content 💜💜💜
My goals for the rest of the year. Thank you!
Excellent advice! Thank you so much.
Very nice point of view. It's important to see the minimalism as a way of living in general, not only about things and declutter. Thank you very much, Joshua!
Your work is soooo important and your delivery of it is awesome- thank you!!!!
Beautiful talk. Thanks 💐
We have a small home on the lake. We feel like we're Glamping!!!! Everyday. Decluttering has made us love it even more. Love your videos. Thank you!!
Thank you Josh for your words of wisdom.
Sadly I'm caring for my love my husband we have really had difficult time and my love is still not recovered.
We have been living with less for many of year's. .
To be honest God has been amazing, and I praise him in the good and bad times.
We make the most of life every day.
When it comes to taking a hoilday it's a really an improntant time to share our memory's meeting new people and enjoy the wonderful different countries. We thank God he allows this to happen.
