- How to test and replace an air fuel ratio sensor, or a/f sensor. This specific sensor is bank 2 sensor 1. (Driver's side before the catalytic converter.) These are commonly called oxygen sensors as well. The a/f sensor operates over a wide air / fuel range. The a/f sensor is installed upstream (before) to the catalytic converter and sends signals to the vehicle's computer; which varies the duration of fuel injection accordingly.

Thank you very much. I love your instructions. They are very details and very helpful , esp.to a novice like me.
Super helpful video; extra detail for those who want to gain more knowledge. Appreciate you taking the time to provide a clear video of how to disconnect clips, what tool to use, etc. Well done!
Finally someone explains it instead of just posting the stupid spec sheets over and over. That doesn’t tell you left or right or which cylinder is which on what engine.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, you are greatly appreciated.
Man that's an extremely clean motor for 13 years old.
Best, most detailed video I seen on UA-cam! I got a Bank 1 sensor 1, and Bank 2 sensor 1, CODE in my Honda!
Thanks I will check it out. You made a really good video , explained it very clear and easy to understand, the camera was focused and pointed where we could see what you were describing, the volume was good so we could hear what you were saying . Really good job. There is often video's where you can't hear or see it comprehend what is being said . Yours was world class .thank you.
👍👍👍👍👍direct to the points and no crabs! Very clear explanations; sensors, banks, etc. 🙏🙏
Great information!! Husband is working on it now. Thanks you! Stay safe.
Good job sir..very well explain for non mechanic like me..thank you
Thank you sir you just made my job a lot easier.
You've saved my bank account. THANK YOU!

Thank you ✋

What brand of o2 sensor did you use?
7/8
1/2 “drive
Thank you
So my battery in my RL is in the way, do I need to take it out? And the skid plate underneath is gonna have to be taken off too? My engine placement doesn’t look quite like the car in this video..
Different model years and engines can have Bank 2 on a different side.
What if you got codes bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 p2195 and p2197 for 2007 Ford Taurus se with one exhaust pipe
I got 2003 honda accord v6 trouble code p2247 is telling bank2 sensor 1 is that correct?
I have a question I have a 06 ford freestyle..a wrench light pops up on the dash and it will rev up very slow and won't go over 30 or so mph but runs and drives perfectly fine before the wrench light pops up if i can get on the road before the light pops up I can drive it highway speeds with no problems but once I stop at a stop sign the light pops up and messed up...ive replaced the electric throttle body and I checked trans fluid and I cleaned the mass air flow sensor..I have this code popping up sense the electric throttle body is very sensitive to air problems could it be the sensor? I also have a code p0701 transmission control system range/performance
Can someone help me have code P2631 which says O2 pumping current trim circuit high(sensor 1, Bank 2) I thought it was the same sensor as the video but it works fine I tested it & even put a new one but the check engine light is still on, could it be a different sensor????
What if the ohm reading is 6-7
Where the white wire came from not that much information just saying
I got 2.7 ohms. Wiring also looked good. Both fuses looked good.
I'm still getting the error for that sensor.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Check its voltage while engine is on. Get REVs about 2500 and compare bank 1 and bank 2 02 sensors 1 readings. Also compare the, with their respective 02 sensor 2 readings
What's the need for the alligator clips, why didn't you just plug the multimeter straight into the sensor ?
It makes it easier for me while I film. Cheers.
Isn’t code p2631 the same
How do u know it’s blown ?
Multimeter or a scan tool.

Air fuel sensor ? Get out of town
Wao. Where you from?
is OXYGEN sensor.
Air fuel sensor - it can read a more narrow and wider band vs an oxygen sensor.
