I've never had an eating disorder but I have and still do struggle with self harm and both of them are super addictive and I think that's the scariness of it because you don't see the seriousness of what you are doing and then go to more extremes to feel valid

Really needed this. 💜 it’s my first Christmas with a serve eating disorder and the thought of eating a Christmas dinner gives me such bad anxiety but I also don’t want my Christmas to be ruined because I’m scared to eat a vegetable. Your advice is great and I’ve spoken to my parents and explained to them that I may not eat a lot of my food which they are okay with. Such a hard time for people with eating disorders thinking of everyone💕

It’s so brave of you to talk about things that clearly is still a sensitive topic for you, but putting yourself out there really do help others, it helped me understand what a person with this disorder might feel on Christmas. Thank you so much for super helpful and important video Marie 💕 Love the affirmation and body acceptance reminders ✨ Also find allowing myself to take time out on my own when I'm feeling overwhelmed really helpful and being armed with other small coping things (a long time ago you mentioned about having something soft in you pocket and I cut a square out of my favourite blanket which has been a good little grounding thing on lots of occasions 🥰 hope you and everyone else has a lovely Christmas but also know that it's ok for it to just be a day and not be the jolliest time of all- whatever you feel is ok and there will always be tomorrow ✨

For me, I'm struggling with just sitting around the table with everyone. It's not necessarily the food part it's more the uncomfortable conversation.
I got married this year, and we are with my husbands family which I have known a very long time and I do love them dearly but sometimes their topics of conversation make me really uncomfortable or ask me questions I dont want to answer and I feel very anxious in a group when everyone is looking at me for a response.
I get all flustered and panic. Im more of a background person in a group or 1 to 1 convos are better for me. Every year I have this issue and my husband just doesn't get it :( xxx

All my comments are " You’ve lost a lot/ weight” from so many people I don’t have family where I am instead my dad on video call he said “ if you don’t look after your self no one will” out of the blue after seeing me. I’m also have stomach issues too so I’m between and under a huge amount of stress that makes me not eat.
