What sort of lap time would it do just keeping it on the black stuff ie not using the edges like he is doing through turn 1?
You can get on the power earlier if you use the edges, and then carry that speed through the next high speed corner.
It's within track limits so why not use it? Realistically there's not a whole lot of time in it but it all helps carry more mid corner speed!
