@@Buledoyanmotor Okay, will be waiting to see your next bike. 👍 We are still thinking about versys, looks like best choice in Indonesia for it's price.
@@chrisristovski went well, just takes a while getting all the fairing pieces off. The light is really nice quality, I just wish there was a way to aim it. It’s aimed pretty low IMO. It’s a much wider and brighter pattern though. Worth the $.
Awesome! I just ordered it. Might make a video once I have it installed. There doesn't seem to be a lot of photos / videos floating around of that particular aftermarket headlight option for the Versys
@@chrisristovski Awesome, I think you’ll like it! It makes the bike look so much better. I agree, nothing for the Versys really as far as videos for this. I thought about doing a video but I just haven’t had the time. I’ll be curious how yours is aimed. Mine isn’t terrible, I just feel it should be higher for a little more down road use.
Just found your channel and I love it! 😊 I'm riding versys 250 around where I live, Jepara central Java. Love the bike. I'm thinking of doing a ride to Bali as soon as the damn covid is down a bit. Is there a way to get in touch with you outside these public comments on UA-cam?
I just come from Kawasaki dealer, my head bulb main beam on replacement led had failed. No fairing was removed to fit a standard bulb stop gap until I get a new LED. I watched the mechanic put his hand up from under the front below headlight to change out bulb. Ok maybe he does this all the time, very often maybe so he knows it can be done without removing fairing.
He was just an average Thai size guy, should have said it was my 300X, not my Vulcan S which is much much .Anyway labour is so cheap here in Thailand I will visit my usual friendly father and son workshop next week for a new led, I am 77 so not quite as agile as I used to be but have just returned from a 7700kms ride down to Malacca and back here in Thailand with a couple of Issan Rider Group mates, which was fun. Also plan in Nov ,with another group, to cross over the border to visit the north of Laos which will be a good test of the little 300X, most of the other guys will be on Honda CRF’s.
@ragbag46 cool ride ! I sold my Versys 250 X-Tourer back in 2020, and upgraded to 500cc Hunter Maverick, best knowned as Kove MV500 outside of Indonesia
Yes that was odd that sister bike to mine in Malaysia was down sized to 250, seemingly due regs for license. My reasoning to go for the 300 was I could pick it up when dropped, my Vulcan S no way, have to wait for a passer by if alone. Percentage wise I ride alone maybe 85%. I am in my 70’s so not as strong as I used to be, and as my son said, who is much more experienced than me, it’s not a question if you will drop it is when, be prepared.
It's my first bulb replacement after 21,000 km so i guess it won't be a procedure to repeat often, but the way this bike is built is easy to dismantle and rebuild
So not really a quick fix at the side of the road after dark when your headlight bulb blows! I had a Versys 300 here in the UK for a year or so, and wondered how to get to the headlight bulb...
wish you would have showed how to tear everything down.
It would have been a 2 hours video 😭😂
Thanks for the videos about versys !
Please keep filming even about maintenance things.
and greetings from russia :)
you are welcome, i sold my Versys for an upgrade i will post about it as well

@@igorvorobev my next bike is the Hunter Maverick 500cc
You can go underneath the fairing and replace the bulb..you can see the rubber cap remove, the connector then the bulb latch...done.
My hands couldn't get there
I only took off left hand side panel on my X300 and had easy access to globe. Probably 30 mins to change globe.
My hands don't fit in there. All panels off, then headlight off too. Then, it's easy.😢
I went with a Matt Gecko LED replacement housing. LED x shape running light and projectors for low and high beam. I will update once I install it. 👍🏻
I was thinking about getting this too, how did it go?

You can actually just reach up from underneath to change the headlight bulb. Not easy, but doable.
With tiny little Trump hands I guess 😜🤣
Ya, I don't recommend trying it lol

I swapped my mt25 bulbs with philips ultinon LED because of the temperature. But after i put an LED, the high beam become so useless.
good tip
WHAT BRAND BRO. I WANT TO CHANGE MINE,
Brand don't matter, just take a similar voltage and amperage in order to not damage the headlamp with overheating bulb
@@Buledoyanmotor do u remember how many amper & voltage im gonna order online, thx bro, never mine i saw it in the last vidio

Not a quick fix indeed 🤣
Done that. Gigantic pain in the butt. At least you don't have to take the engine appart to chnage the freakin' light bulb.
🤣
OK, that's a lot of work it seems.
That stock bulb is lame, makes the bike look 20 years old.
True, well the bike was launched in 2016 and on a budget
