This was a very inspiring and motivating video! Thank you Elise for the 2024 journal! They hang all the colorful scarves in our small town triangle for anyone to take for free. Such a fun event!
Elise I just found you . What a great way starting the new year. I love all your crochet I learned to crochet from a friend when we were all in the military. She taught me take granny squares and then I started making all kinds of stuff but I hadn't crochet in years but lately I got back into in when I seem something made with granny squares. I have been watching lots of your videos and thank you I have learn lots. ❤
Ok, this has nothing to do with the content of your video, but I have to tell you I LOVE YOUR SWEATER!!! I love foxes and I am super envious of your sweater! 🦊
Thank you for the organizational nudge! Just printed my crochet journal and hopefully getting my projects organized will also lead to getting my closet organized! 😁
I started a project journal this year. I have one project complete and 2 wips right now. My goals for 2024 is to start a temperature blanket for the year I was married and to learn Tunisian crochet.
Thank for the planner……. Hopefully it will help me down size my yarn stash and learn to knit something other than dishcloths. Want to make mittens for family and friends. ❤❤ Also, I have 7 cats and they rule the house and me as well. 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈❤❤❤ Thank You again.
Thankfully I finished all my projects that I started in 2023 before the end of the year. Even the ones I didnt want to finish. I frogged a couple. But most I finished. I wanted to finish everything before I start knitting the lopi sweater. So had something to look forward too and wouldn't do until all other projects were finished. So having that motivation helped. But deadlines help me too. Started the lopi sweater by petite knit on the 1st. Finished the turtleneck and on row 10 of colourwork. Having a lot of fun. First colourwork sweater.
@@EliseRoseCrochet it was hard for me to understand but that might just be because I've never done colourwork. And her sweater has 6 colours. A friend from my knitting group helped me understand the pattern. You might have better luck though lol. But I do love her projects
I love, love, love, your channel. I, too, am trying to be more deliberate in my crocheting this year, instead of “going on a whim”.. Thank you so much for your planner.. I can’t wait to download it. Thank you for all of your content!!!
I love that your cats made appearances! I have three cat babies, but only one is my knitting/crochet buddy. This is a great idea and I’m definitely downloading your journal and putting it in my Happy Planner. I used to be super organized but then life happened and I’ve been really trying to get back to that place. Your video has inspired me to sit down and get it all on paper. So THANK YOU! One of my LYS is doing a KAL with Stone Knits. I really want to sign up, but I’ve never done any color work, and I’ve only ever knitting one sock (not one pair, just one…of the pair, lol). Her patterns are stunning and I may just need to buy that book and drool over them for a while.
Your journal looks very comprehensive! Has everything you may need. If I had one, I would probably do my writing in pencil ✏️ due to mistakes or changes I would invariably make. My goal for something new to learn is how to crochet short rows. Thank you for your video. And I love your cats!!
Thank you for this planner Elise- I was thinking the other day that I needed to plan out my projects and this is perfect. Love your work and love seeing Pickle and Olive! My cats and dog were watching right along with me.
Elise, I was surprised at something. There seemed to be so much more energy when you were upstairs at the beginning of the video! I think it’s a combination of all of the natural light AND your beautiful home. Even the audio seemed brighter. I know you like feedback, so I wanted to share! Your colorwork sweater looks great, almost done! You can do it!
Last year I learned that I almost always finish a KAL- it’s the deadline for me too!!! Thanks for this video- I’ve been working on my knitting and crocheting intentions for 2024 too
Thank you so much Elise for the Gorgeous 2024 Planner. I printed it immediately & can’t wat to start using it. I absolutely love your channel. I’m going to learn how to crochet Amigurumi in 2024. IDK Why I’m so intimidated, but I’m going to start small. Have a Happy Healthy New Year
Dear Elise, Thank you for sharing it’s always inspiration for me to see what you as a crochet designer have to share. I absolutely agree with you I was working on some crochet temperature/chocolate- lollie snakes 🐍 (Planet June) and I had a deadline December 31st (now I only started the three in November 2023) I managed to get the two temperature snakes done on time but I didn’t get to complete my Chocolate-lollie snake (marking what was eaten throughout the year). So I have vowed to complete it by the end of this month, I need a deadline otherwise it will remain as a WIP 🤦🏻♀️🙀 I also have a lot of yarn that I’ve accumulated from when I first started crocheting in 2017-2018. I used some during the making of those snakes but I seriously thought I would have used way more than I actually did. I guess I need to make some quick blankets and plushies with the yarn 🧶 then I can purchase some more 😆 Thank you for sharing your wonderful planner with me. Your kitties Mr Pickle and Miss Olive are adorable as always. My Sassy says “Meow”! Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings to you and your family 🙏🏼💗🧶🦋🐶😻
Deadlines are so important for me. I’ve discovered I’m more of a small project person, but I made two blankets in 2023. A Halloween blanket, so I had to be done by Halloween, and a Christmas one and I decided I needed to finish by Thanksgiving and I planned how many pieces I needed to make every day and how many to attach every week, worked perfectly. A sweater I started shortly after Halloween though, because it wasn’t as utgent, it’s still half done in the WIP bin 😂
I turned 56 last year and I realized that I am old. I need to do this too. I need my crojo back. I hurt my back before Christmas and I’m just now starting to feel better so hopefully I will be able to get my crojo back.
I love your attitude and enjoy your videos so much. And I so appreciate your approach to organization. I've seen a few other of your videos on prioritizing projects, and they've lowered my stress level. Here's to a productive and efficient, although not perfect, 2024.
Hi Elise. Thank you so much for all the great tips and encouragement! Such great ideas to get me excited about my projects and plan better😁! Hope you have a wOnderful year. I'm always excited to watch your videos!🤗 Have a great one!
Elise, thank you for these suggestions and the 2024 Planner. I got the planner right away and can't wait to start using it. I didn't start my Christmas gifts until December. I got them all done except my dad's. His room is very cold and I wanted to make him a throw blanket that had a warm stitch. He saw the continual granny square blanket I mad my goddaughter and liked it but, as a Korean War veteran he wanted one with his division badge on it. Luckily, I learned the corner to corner stitch because his division has alternating diagonal stripes in blue and white. If I had had a planner I would have been able to plan out my gifts and make them throughout the year, or at least the last few months of the year. I hope this works for me. I need to get organized. I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed New Year.
I want to start off by saying this video was great! ~for those who prefer digital planners~ I downloaded the free printable planner, but I prefer digital planners, so……… I am not a digital pro so I don’t know how to get it into my Goodnotes on my IPad, but I do have work I do on my much larger Samsung S7 FE. I was able to download it into Samsung Notes. I then, only on project pages or month pages I added a picture I wanted for reference. Because I am not a pro on notes the pic only places on the far left. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, I can add pages as needed in the page sorter and rearrange as, or if needed and even put my downloaded images on the newly added pages. This is super fabulous for me as I have been trying for the last 2 years to not buy paper products. Thank you for making this wonderful template for me to use for crochet. It will help me stay on track for once with my projects 😂😂❤❤
Hi! I am totally the opposite, if I dont write, and I mean write with a pen on a piece of paper whatever I am working on or plan to do, it just flies out the window, hahaha Thus, I tried downloading the planner but without any success, how did you do it? Any advice/ instructions/guidance/ANYTHING??? Thnks so much!
From my Samsung based laptop, I open the Gmail the download came in. From there I select the download button, and it opens my files pop up window to select option to save to. I selected desktop . It saved on my desktop as a pdf. Now after saving, when I open it, it opens as a pdf file in a new tab. I hope this helps. Reach out again if it doesn't ❤

GIRLFRIEND!!! WHERE YOU BEEN? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. I WAS JUST SITTING DOWN LAST WEEK AND PLANNING OUT JANUARY, BUT YOU GOT ME THINKING THAT I SHOULD AT LEAST LOOK AT THE WHOLE YEAR! THANKS, TOO, FOR SHARING YOUR PLANNER!!!
Haha! I took a couple of weeks off to spend time with my family over the holidays! I find it super helpful to look at the whole year at once so I can plan backwards from that point! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I am just watching this in the almost middle of January and I'm about to start working again after the holidays, but I am definitely giving your journal a try. I am trying to be more realistic about my expectations of what I want to do and what I can actually have done while having two jobs and I think this is a great tool to visualize and organize things . Thank you so much Elise!!! Hope you can get many things done this year 🎉
Have signed up to download the planner. I most likely won't fill in every page but there are a few I will certainly use. Writing down notes for my current WIP will be very handy especially for something as simple as remembering what needle size I'm using. Thanks for sharing.
Hi ELISE AND right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and butterfly mosaic blanket and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos I will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite types of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your UA-cam channel and keep up the great work on your crochet projects
I just love this planner workbook! I’m a little late filling it out BUT it has helped me so much to organize the overwhelm! I’ve been down on myself because I thought I didn’t get much done last year…hah! I discovered through filling out the projects completed in 2023 page that I finished 41 projects and possibly a few more I forgot about! I love everything about this planner! I can’t wait to see what I get accomplished in 2024 now that I’m organized! Thank you so much and I hope you do this every January!
Hi Elise! Your journal sounds good. You are not alone in the wips department. I was behind on my 2023 temperature blanket then I had my wrist replaced and my pinky joint and ring finger joint replaced and a couple of other procedures done to my RIGHT hand Ugg! I have never wanted to crochet so bad in my life lol! I have all kinds of ideals swirling around my brain too! But I will be back in action in another month or so and your videos have kept me from being down, Pickles had me cracking up. Such a sweetheart! Best of luck to us both catching up in 2024🎉Happy New Year!❤
I want to thank you for testing crochet hooks so I bought 2 of the one you said you liked and I love love the prym hooks. I crochet so much faster. I didn't know hooks could make a difference. So thank you do much
Hi Elise I've been watching your videos( from England ) since last September and your tips have helped me a lot. I have made your mouse and little pigs I'm.so pleased will results . Thank you Vera
I so admire your ability to create ways to organize. I’m always trying to organize better BUT I am so prone to just starting something when it pops into my mind. Maybe jotting those ideas down rather starting them would work better to cut down on the number of WIPS. Thank you!!!
You’ve inspired me to make, different crochet projects, to granny squares blankets, amigurumi, and an amazing mr. pencil for my daughter which she loves, my next project is a Miss Lula for my daughter
Thank you, Elise. Watching you think and plan was definitely inspiring. I have a few things planned out for the year but I left lots of room for being flexible. Your planner looks great. I joined the email list for one. Thank you. :)
I finished most of the projects i wanted last year and your journal helped with that, i am gonna cut back on reqeust things though with an exception here and there. I wanna work on my own projects more and be able to do other things on weekends than just crochet or knitting. I am also on a qeust to use atleast most of the pattern i bought a while ago but never used. If people want things i made they can have it and otherwise there is always charity lol. i love seeing olive and pickle.

That is wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I totaly agree, with the year flying by. Ugh!
Yes!! Where did it go??? 🤣
We are so excited that we're touching tips. 💙
So glad! 📆🐑❤️🧶
So excited for the ducks!. bride and groom look beautiful. I love the colors you chose for the new groom.
Thank you!! 🧶❤️🐑📆
Elise I just found you . What a great way starting the new year. I love all your crochet
I learned to crochet from a friend when we were all in the military. She taught me take granny squares and then I started making all kinds of stuff but I hadn't crochet in years but lately I got back into in when I seem something made with granny squares. I have been watching lots of your videos and thank you I have learn lots. ❤
That's wonderful! Thanks for sharing! 🧶❤️🐑📆
This magazine is very good. I like to count the toys I crocheted in a year. It is very suitable for it.
There were 393 amigurumi in 2023.
thank you ;)
Wow!!! That's amazing! 🧶🧶🧶
I love the piggies, they are SO adorable!! 💖🤗 Thanks for the planner!! 🥰
You are so welcome! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Ok, this has nothing to do with the content of your video, but I have to tell you I LOVE YOUR SWEATER!!! I love foxes and I am super envious of your sweater! 🦊
Haha!! Thank you!! It's one of my favorites! 🦊🦊🦊
Elise, your videos are a great inspiration! Im learning so much from you in each video. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much! 🧶🧶🧶
I Love love love the finger puppets!!
Thank you!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Thank you for the organizational nudge! Just printed my crochet journal and hopefully getting my projects organized will also lead to getting my closet organized! 😁
You are so welcome! ❤️
I started a project journal this year. I have one project complete and 2 wips right now. My goals for 2024 is to start a temperature blanket for the year I was married and to learn Tunisian crochet.
Thanks for sharing your goals! Those are great! 🧶🧶🧶
Lol!! I can't imagine having 7 cats!! My two absolutely despise one another! 🥴
Oooh!!! I love her patterns!!! I would love to hear your thoughts on the pattern! Her work is amazing!! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet it was hard for me to understand but that might just be because I've never done colourwork. And her sweater has 6 colours. A friend from my knitting group helped me understand the pattern. You might have better luck though lol. But I do love her projects
Thank you for gifting us your free accountability journal 😊
You are so welcome! 🧶❤️🐑📆
I love, love, love, your channel. I, too, am trying to be more deliberate in my crocheting this year, instead of “going on a whim”.. Thank you so much for your planner.. I can’t wait to download it. Thank you for all of your content!!!
Thank you so much!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
This was awesome 👏 Thank you
Thank you so much! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I’ll have to try some of your tips. I’m such a procrastinator. I’ll work on that.
It's such a bad habit that I'm working on too! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Love your videos, thank you for your hard work
Thank you so much! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I loved this video. Your planning is great. The reflecting and planning are so relatable.. Thanks!
Thanks so much, Aida! 📆❤️🐑🧶
Oh that's amazing that your LYS is doing a Stone Knits KAL! I love her patterns! Happy Planning! 📆🧦🐑❤️🧶
Never mind, it came through ❤
Ok good!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Your journal looks very comprehensive! Has everything you may need. If I had one, I would probably do my writing in pencil ✏️ due to mistakes or changes I would invariably make. My goal for something new to learn is how to crochet short rows. Thank you for your video. And I love your cats!!
That's a very good idea!! Thanks for sharing! ✏️📆🐑❤️🧶
Thank you for this planner Elise- I was thinking the other day that I needed to plan out my projects and this is perfect. Love your work and love seeing Pickle and Olive! My cats and dog were watching right along with me.
Haha!! Give your fur babies a big hug and kiss from me! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Thank you sooooo much for the feedback!! 📆❤️🐑🧶
Last year I learned that I almost always finish a KAL- it’s the deadline for me too!!! Thanks for this video- I’ve been working on my knitting and crocheting intentions for 2024 too
Yes!! Doing something in a community is motivation! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Thank you for putting this together & sharing. I have some of this organized on my phone, but there’s something satisfying about writing it down. 👍❤️
I totally agree! 🧶❤️🐑📆
Thank you so much Elise for the Gorgeous 2024 Planner. I printed it immediately & can’t wat to start using it. I absolutely love your channel. I’m going to learn how to crochet Amigurumi in 2024. IDK Why I’m so intimidated, but I’m going to start small.
Have a Happy Healthy New Year
Wonderful! And don't be intimidated! Always remember that it's just yarn, nothing bad will happen if you make a mistake! 🧶❤️🐑📆
Dear Elise,
Thank you for sharing it’s always inspiration for me to see what you as a crochet designer have to share.
So I have vowed to complete it by the end of this month, I need a deadline otherwise it will remain as a WIP 🤦🏻♀️🙀
I also have a lot of yarn that I’ve accumulated from when I first started crocheting in 2017-2018. I used some during the making of those snakes but I seriously thought I would have used way more than I actually did. I guess I need to make some quick blankets and plushies with the yarn 🧶 then I can purchase some more 😆
Thank you for sharing your wonderful planner with me.
Your kitties Mr Pickle and Miss Olive are adorable as always. My Sassy says “Meow”!
Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings to you and your family 🙏🏼💗🧶🦋🐶😻
Awww! Give Sassy a pet from me! I had a cat named Sassy growing up, a beautiful Siamese! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I will! Oh wow, that’s awesome I’m sure she was as Sassy as my girl 😜
I love all your energy. I completely understand being ruled by the kitties. I have 4 who just love to stop my crocheting. Lol
Haha!! These cats have me well trained! 🤣
I'm the exact same way!! Give me a deadline and it will get done!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I turned 56 last year and I realized that I am old. I need to do this too. I need my crojo back. I hurt my back before Christmas and I’m just now starting to feel better so hopefully I will be able to get my crojo back.
I hope that it helps you to feel excited about crochet again! I also hope your back feels better! 🧶🧶🧶
I love your attitude and enjoy your videos so much. And I so appreciate your approach to organization. I've seen a few other of your videos on prioritizing projects, and they've lowered my stress level. Here's to a productive and efficient, although not perfect, 2024.
I'm so glad!! Happy New Year! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Hi Elise. Thank you so much for all the great tips and encouragement! Such great ideas to get me excited about my projects and plan better😁! Hope you have a wOnderful year. I'm always excited to watch your videos!🤗 Have a great one!
Thank you so very much! ❤
What a wonderful gift for your dad!!! I hope the planner helps! 📆🐑❤️🧶
One of the best videos ever! This is helping a ton! Pls never ever stop this! also happy early birthday 🥳 🩷🧶😁👋✌
Awww! Thank you!! That made my day! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Hi! I am totally the opposite, if I dont write, and I mean write with a pen on a piece of paper whatever I am working on or plan to do, it just flies out the window, hahaha
Thus, I tried downloading the planner but without any success, how did you do it? Any advice/ instructions/guidance/ANYTHING???
Thnks so much!
From my Samsung based laptop, I open the Gmail the download came in. From there I select the download button, and it opens my files pop up window to select option to save to. I selected desktop . It saved on my desktop as a pdf. Now after saving, when I open it, it opens as a pdf file in a new tab. I hope this helps. Reach out again if it doesn't ❤
@@shelby6066 hello again! The thing is that I didn't even get an email. I subscribed and everything but nothing has come back...at least I know now that I was indeed supposed to get some sort of communication. I will subscribe again and hopefully this time I will get my planner as well. Thank you so much for your help! 🙏
@veronicaalba7099 of you are comfortable with it, I just send you the planner I downloaded.
@@shelby6066 you are most kind! Thankfully I was able to download it this afternoon. Thank you so much for your help!
Your channel is soooooo good it helps me a lot on crochet and every time I need help on crochet I look at your videos!!!!!!!!! ILYSM (in video and is so helpful Tysm
Thank you sooo much!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet cuz is actually rlly good
Your notebook is helpful and well thought out.
This week, I have finding WIPS and finishing them. It is so fun to see my projects done and on the way to people.
Yes!! Nothing better than finishing projects! 📆🐑❤️🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet I'M GLAD. WE ALL NEED A BREAK! JUST LOVE THAT YOU'RE BACK. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU BRING US!
@@mycrochetstory7169 thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you. Downloaded it to my iPad. So excited to see what all we make in the coming year!
Yay!! I hope you enjoy it!
Hope you can get many things done this year 🎉
I'm so glad you're enjoying! 🧶🧶🧶
You are so Inspiring. 😊
Awwww, thank you! 📆❤️🐑🧶
Have signed up to download the planner. I most likely won't fill in every page but there are a few I will certainly use. Writing down notes for my current WIP will be very handy especially for something as simple as remembering what needle size I'm using. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome! Hope it helps! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks so much!! Your projects sound lovely! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I loved this! Thank you, Elise! ☺
You're so welcome! 📆🐑❤️🧶
I enjoyed your tour through the planner very much!
Thank you! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you Elise!
You're so welcome! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Best of luck to us both catching up in 2024🎉Happy New Year!❤
Awwww, bless your heart! I hope you're able to crochet soon!! 🧶🧶🧶
I want to thank you for testing crochet hooks so I bought 2 of the one you said you liked and I love love the prym hooks. I crochet so much faster. I didn't know hooks could make a difference. So thank you do much
loved doing the sewing box mag collabs together with you! I love your channel so much :)
Thank you so much, Amy!! I love all your patterns!! You're such a talented designer!! ❤️❤️❤️
OMG! I LOVE this planner idea! I always fly by the seat of my pants on deadlines. Crochet projects are a great place to start for me❤❤
Me too!! I'm determined to make this year different! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Thank you for another fantastic video with wonderful ideas, really appreciate.

Oh Elise, I just love your vids.
Awww! Thank you! ❤️
I so admire your ability to create ways to organize. I’m always trying to organize better BUT I am so prone to just starting something when it pops into my mind. Maybe jotting those ideas down rather starting them would work better to cut down on the number of WIPS. Thank you!!!
That is a good idea!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
🎉🎉.. I was searching for your 2024 videos. These suggestions were gold. I will save this video until I get a workbook. Thank you so much 💓 💗
Glad it was helpful! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Great video, I would love some cute socks, how about tomorrow!!😂
Lol!!! 🧦🧦🧦
Oh my goodness!!! NEW VIDEO ❤️. Iv been looking for the perfect planner for my crochet projects. This would be my first planner.
I hope it's helpful!! 📆❤️🐑🧶
You’ve inspired me to make, different crochet projects, to granny squares blankets, amigurumi, and an amazing mr. pencil for my daughter which she loves, my next project is a Miss Lula for my daughter
@@Rachel.88 that's wonderful!! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Elise. Watching you think and plan was definitely inspiring. I have a few things planned out for the year but I left lots of room for being flexible. Your planner looks great. I joined the email list for one. Thank you. :)
That's exactly what I like as well, a few projects planned and lots of openness to new possibilities! ❤️
That's wonderful! Sounds like you have a great plan for 2024!! 📆🐑❤️🧶
Great video and just what I need for the new year! Thank you for the free download. I love that you made it home printer ink friendly. I’ve already printed it and ordered a Happy Planner to put it in!
Oh fun!! Happy Organizing! 🧶🧶🧶
