- Varanasi is one of the holiest cities in India. According to Manju Singh it is also home to the second largest illegal flesh trade in the world. Along with her husband Ajeet, Manju runs Guria, a non-profit organisation dedicated to fighting child prostitution in the holy city.
Guria is a grassroots charity based in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, led by Ajeet and Santwana Manju Singh. Guria's mission is to liberate and empower women in prostitution and eliminate child prostitution.

Millions of Hindu families force their children to have se* with their customers to earn a living.
Hindu communities like Gujar,Bedia,Nat,Banchada,Dom,Pardi,Sansi,Bavaria including dozens more have practised hereditary prostitution for thousands of years.
Govt has to give security to these important people who are selfless and dedicates their life which is less possible for others
Absolutely! They deserve it more than those old and former ministers. These face ground reality much more than those so called democratically elected or not elected ministers. Only awarding them by presidents and PMs isn't enough!! Proper security and safety of THESE people should be ensured. But who will ensure? The one who is responsible for the safety is the one who lurks near these vulnerable girls to do nasty activities.

human trafficking is a career. the second you declare war on an entire industry where life has no value, get ready to die. all for what? to look like a hero for a few minutes? some other person will be trafficked a minute later. the only thing that can be done in this case is to give more people opportunity for jobs so they don't turn to crimes like pimping. legalize prostitution so govt. can monitor it. it is already happening openly anyway but the girls have no protection. there are many solutions but india is too conservative.
