I was in a local shop this past weekend and saw a t-shirt that read, "My Chickens Think I'm Awesome." I immediately said to myself that the Hornet King needs this shirt.
Yes, the decals on the truck are nice. Kinda makes you "official" now. Not that you weren't before but don't remember seeing decals on your previous truck.
Have to say that was super clean how you removed the section of tree and even re-installed it to almost look like you were never there, very professional. Very interesting watching them feed, you are scientific about your profession, great work.
Saw you on the news a week ago. A story of a man who conquered his fear of hornets and now he removes their nests. Nice story...Your videos are very interesting, and I understand much more about hornets thanks to you. I love the fact that none of the hornet goes to waste and each of your videos end with you feeding larva to your pets. Always an entertaining bonus to watch. Do you even need to purchase food for your pets with the amount of larva and pupae they get? I've been subscribed for at least a year, and you never disappoint. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and publish this content for us ordinary folk.
Love seeing you take care of your animals that's the best part butit was kinda cool watching you help feed the larva. I think it would be awesome to see you just taking care of all your animals from time to time
I'm impressed. On multiple fronts. The fact that you counted all those ladies for our pleasure and that you were the object of obsession for well over 600 ladies and they didn't even fight each other 😅
I just recently subscribed to your channel after finding these videos! I love watching them and discovering the process of getting rid of these nests. It’s informative and fun to watch…and I love how you call the birdies too. Stay safe!!
You definitely got all the fore skin my man! I removed my first big bald face hornet nest under the porch last year. I thought about you and how you would do it and did the absolute opposite hahahaha but it worked out! I would have never attempted if it weren't for your knowledge over the years and of course confidence. Much respect man! 🤟
I've had a lot of yellow jacket and European hornet removals this fall and have another yellowjacket one tomorrow 11/3/2024. Very busy times! Nice job! Thanks!
The intro when it showed the hornet hovering and air-wobbling side to side with it’s wittle legs swaying in the wind was so adorable. Lil bobbly headed bebay. 🥹
I could never see myself doing this as I'm terrified of wasps and bees lmao. But I can sit back in the comfort of my home and admire the Hornet King while he works xD
lt is good to see you Bret and that is a lot of Hornets + your birdys....The close up shots were amazing to watch....l see some of my family was in your yard🦨🦨 lol.....Thank my friend..... Old stinky🦨 flying Shoe🇺🇸
That black walnut wood is beautiful as well. U can see a pretty pattern where you made your cut with the chainsaw. Srry I'm a woodworker and I love all different kinds of wood. Black walnut is not something I typically get to work with and I think next time I see a piece I like I am going to use it to make something cool
Black walnut is gorgeous for woodworking! Sadly this one didnt have any heartwood left. But they were felling other black walnut trees too and they were solid so someone was getting some furniture wood!
I can't get over how big those are. I've only had first hand experience with baldies (the devil reincarnated) and western yellow jackets (not far behind) when working in the woods. 😂
That is insane. I'm glad I don't have them where I live. Yet. The warming weather has already brought some creatures in that have never been here before. It still amazes me how a colony of insects can create something so incredible. Thank you for sharing this, and for not having us watch you count all of those hornets in real time. Please stay safe, and God bless.
So I just turned 64 years old and I never knew what the inside of a hornet nest looked like. I have been binge watching since I discovered your channel today! The most interesting channel I have ever come across. (Seen a couple other similar channels but you are by far the best!) Your gonna need more chickens!😀 New subscriber! 🤠
I think this is the first vid of yours that gave me the willies, those things are tanks! I that was the best looking comb I have ever seen though, very cool!! Thank you my friend:)
Great intro and video! It amazes me how sturdy the comb and even envelope from these hornets appear to be vs yellow jackets. Thanks for taking the time to show how the larvae feed, that was fascinating! Stay safe as always!
So cool to watch. We had the European hornets inside our living room wall. The exterminator dusted them twice and it got rid of them, but he couldn’t get to the nest to remove it without tearing out the wall. I sealed the entrance hole; I hope they don’t return.
thats the second nest in that tree! my wife works there and i found a nest two years ago in the same spot! they didnt care at the time so i didnt mess with them lol
I’m sorry I’m a week late Brett! I’ve had several medical issues to deal with. I was very happy to see your video waiting in my notifications..it was just what the doctors ordered! I am confused though..I didn’t notice a change in your intro? 🤷🏼♀️ This was incredible and fascinating..I think I like the tree removals the most. Thank you for saving the horses! You are the best!
Have you ever had to refuel the generator you sometimes bring with you when you don’t have a convenient outlet because the removal took longer than expected
These are crabros, the biggest in Europe and the biggest established in the US. As far as I know, only mandarinias (murder hornets) are bigger in the world.
I was in a local shop this past weekend and saw a t-shirt that read, "My Chickens Think I'm Awesome." I immediately said to myself that the Hornet King needs this shirt.
Yes
Always a treat to find a new Hornet King video in my feed!
I agree!!
Im glad you enjoy!
is this a new video?
@@firefighter1732yes It is
@@firefighter1732I was also thinking that it reminds me of a removal he did a number of years back. Could just be a similar situation.
That footage directly under the nest's envelope is pretty cool.
Thanks
OMG that feeding of the larvae was awesome. Thanks for filming that.
OMG... Brett! THOSE ladies are the things that nightmares are made of!! They are just so big! Like the new intro and the truck!
Yes, the decals on the truck are nice. Kinda makes you "official" now. Not that you weren't before but don't remember seeing decals on your previous truck.
i never thought id think a sleeping hornet would be cute, but the little taps of her foot was precious!
They are cute!
@@HornetKingOfficialIn an evil, maniacal kind of way. 🤣
Have to say that was super clean how you removed the section of tree and even re-installed it to almost look like you were never there, very professional. Very interesting watching them feed, you are scientific about your profession, great work.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely love the micro shots, it’s really cool to watch them in their natural form while you feed the larvae!!!
Feeding the larvae was awesome to see!

How many people click the like button before even watching? I know I do.
Absolutely love a new video upload from the Hornet King 🙂
The feeding was fascinating !! Thank you ! 😊 Awesome vid as always !
You're back! UA-cam was not the same without you.
Thank you!
Tenacious little monsters!!! Thank you for doing what you do sir!
If that GoPro were powered by AI, it would be screaming in terror! 😂
The slowmo shots from that camera shows how they would terrorize your face without a suit on!
Oh! You got a brand new intro! You all fancy now???
He's always been fancy
Just like larvae you have to grow eventually 😅😅
Ive had this intro since 2020. Where have you been?
@@HornetKingOfficial I don't remember this intro either.... Guess I've been watching older videos.
@@AlleyCat67yeah same
I agree, it has been a while!! This nest is going to be a plentiful treat for the Birdies!!
I bet them things prolly like stand ya ground were being underattacked protect the queen!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just adore Doris! 💗💞
I love dinosaur feeding time!
13:21 the look the pizza delivery driver gives me when I've ordered 7 pizzas to eat by myself
Doris is so spoiled 😂
You have no idea LOL
That looked like a 2 vacuum job!
Why stop there? Why not 4 or 10 vacuums? haha

I come for the nest removal, but I stay for the animal feeding buffet ASMR. 💯😁
This reminds me of one you did a few years ago where the hornets were inside a tree like this. Really interesting.
So far Ive done about 4 that look just like this one. I like these the most.
@ they’re my favorites too and it looks like I missed a couple. Off to go find them. Thanks 🙏🏻

Actually, this species' nest is more brittle and crumbly compared to some yellow jacket species (eg bald faced and german yj).
@@HornetKingOfficial Interesting, it looked pretty stout but since you deal with them sometimes on the daily I believe you! Thanks for the reply.
Its amazing where they choose to nest.

Those hornet's don't have dreams they have nightmares of the Hornet King . 😮 LOL
