- In this video I remove 2 MASSIVE Eastern Yellow Jackets Nests from 2 separate houses! This species is Eastern Yellow Jacket, Vespula maculifrons, which are typically a subterranean yellow jacket species, but these two queens decided to build their colonies inside a house wall and flooring structure!
There are many silly ways to kill a yellow jackets nest, but this is a professional wasp nest removal/extraction, and the ONLY professional yellow jacket nest extraction content on UA-cam.
Once the nest is removed, and Im finished appointments for the day, I bring the nests home, and fed them to my Emus, Chickens, and Rhea!

A few months back I got stung by a yellow jacket on my eyelid in the cavity. Since then I’ve had an extreme phobia that I didn’t know I had u til a wasp flew by me a week later! I can appreciate that. I was on a swing as a child and must’ve accidentally swung too close to a nest and I got stung all over my scalp. I remember it hurt. Never really appreciated bees since: “if it flies, it dies”. Since watching this channel, I’ve become a lot more tolerant of single flying bees/wasps.
I was running a farmer's market selling maple stuff and one of the little fucks was in my water bottle, stung my lip when I took a drink.
It's less fear and more malevolent hatred for me lol

I got stung on the chin by a red wasp. My face was so swollen. My Dr. prescribed me a steroid and it cleared right up. I’d never seen myself look like that. I didn’t even recognize myself

I'm happy the homeowners have relief from the colony on their respective properties. They can start a colony pretty quickly without knowing they're present. This past summer we had wasps attempt to build their nest under our rv, but since we live here full time making enough noise plus checking frequently deters them. You do such a great job, making customers happy with your thorough removal and caring for them and their safety.
Amazing content, as always. However, I can't unsee the floorboards being put back backward in the first removal, haha.

Your videos are always quality! I couldn't imaging sleeping in that room knowing there's a large nest below the floorboard. Great job locating the nest and removing the yellowjackets.
I've got a nest of those guys. In a raised bed holding my raspberries and blackberries. Found them after bumping that box with the a lawn mower. But they chilled like as soon as I backed away from their entry hole. Only stung once. They've done a nice job keeping the other critters from chewing up my garden. I'm letting the nest finish their cycle and then I'll pull it out after 2nd or 3rd hard frost.
I love the ending with the hens. It's almost like you can hear them say: "uuh daddy's home, and he has goodies in his bag"❤😂

Wow this was almost the exact situation as at my parent's - plaster walls that are literally humming and we have no clue how to get to them without tearing the house up. She's allergic and there are wasps everywhere

I know it’s not the way the @HornetKingOfficial does it, but I have an older house too with plaster and lath; I’ve had luck with using a puffer wand and Delta dust at their entrance. The foragers will bring in the dust around the nest and kill the colony, though sometimes you’ll need a second application. Either do it with a bee suit or at night quickly. About 5-6 puffs should be sufficient you don’t need a whole lot.

I had the same problem. There was no opening inside of the house, but I could hear them buzzing like crazy just beneath a basement window. I could see them coming and going outside of the window. So I made a small hole inside and sprayed between the drywall and the outside with a big can of wasp spray till the buzzing stopped. Then I sprayed Great Stuff inside the hole till I could see it coming out of the hole outside the house. I entombed the entire Yellow Jacket nest plus added a little more insulation.
Their in the floors, *THEIR IN THE GODDAMN FLOOR!*

It's usually due to the weather--if the winters are weak and short, there's gonna be more wasps, bcs the queens hibernate over winter. If it's cold they don't survive. Similarly, if the summer is hot, there will also be more of them.
Emus and rheas are such fascinating creatures. They look positively prehistoric.

Those are some intense nests and its very satisfying to watch them! Amazing they can be hiding anywhere and you can detect them, my grandparents had 3 nests in their back yard, 2 Bald face hornet nests, one behind a shed and one on our railroad signal and then giant yellow jackets nest in a shed we keep model trains. 4:15 That poor Yellow Jacket was just doing some research on your phone to see if he wants to go with the same model when his upgrade is available 😂but for real I'm surprised how resourceful these guys are and the crazy tiny spaces they can make their nests, when I was a kid my Dad had me on his shoulders walking through the woods and he stepped on huge ground hornet nest, we were like 2 miles into the woods from our house and he had to Usain Bolt back home with me screaming bloody murder the whole way back (I was 4 btw) we each only got stung like 15 times which is surprising because the amount that came out looked like way more. To be completely honest I am still terrified of any kind of Bees/Wasps/Hornets to the point where all my friends just think I'm allergic bc that is what I used to tell everyone as an excuse to go inside when one was hovering around where we were sitting.

I got Apiphobia all the way back as a toddler when I stumbled across a wasp nest in an abandoned birdhouse at a daycare I went to. This was before I was even in preschool, I'm 22 now and I still remember that exact place solely because of the wasps.

@@sandyaw3057 Same here in western OH. Bees near garbage cans and jackets everywhere else. Guessing last winter was weak; had that -10 for a few days right before Christmas and the remainder was November weather until April. Again, it's a guess.
I'm in northeast PA in the Poconos, and yes wasps make some pretty good sized nests here. Last year we had a pretty good sized queen cell inside the cap of our propane tank. It startled me but I was already ready from personal experience and watching here. I also have a little bit of experience from when my child was in 4H entomology too.
I still have a horrible fear of them. Like I cannot be in the proximity of them without having a panic attack.
But I deeply enjoy your channel and you honestly become my favorite channel. Keep up gods work lmao

Had a German yellow jacket land on me today while out and about. Just chilling with me while we had a car ride didn’t notice her until my other half was parking the car and it crawled up onto my knee. I got out safely and she flew away..

Huge fan of your wasp nest removal videos and I was wondering how you’re always able to locate the Queen so easily. All the Yellow Jackets look the same to me so it’s impressive that every video, you find the Queen almost instantly.
Also, did you stop spraying the wasp nests with Black Flag? When I first started watching you many years ago, you would usually spray some Black Flag after you do the wasp nest removal. Do you not use Black Flag anymore to kill the remainder of the foragers?
I mentioned spraying spider and scorpion spray into the floor cavity.
I never spray the nests with black flag.

I saw on another channel they vacuum up the wasps alive and donate them to a lab that uses the venom to make anti-venom for allergic people. I was wondering if you ever looked into that or if it would be difficult for you to do alone vs a team of people doing this. Thanks!
