can you do a video, or tell my how much red/blue/purple/white/green light you use on your aquarium. your corals seem very happy with it and look beautifull!
Great video. I’ve always been afraid to try a calcium reactor because they seemed a bit overwhelming but your video made a lot of sense and made it seem very easy once it’s finely tuned. I’ll definitely have to try one out in the future
So what happened to the reactor? Give me your true thoughts. Are they a pain in the a$$? I know they can be simple in the long-run, but my gut feeling is that they are a headache to get dialed in initially. My biggest question is do people see an explosion of growth when they jump from 2-part to a reactor? I currently dose Alk 150x a day and find it hard to believe that a reactor would be much more stable than that. 150x a day is essentially like a Calcium reactor running. Not quite, but close. That’s really stable. I’m running Triton now and saw you are too and was just wondering why you ditched the reactor because you seemed to be so excited to set it up initially.
If I would I would install it in my current tank in a heart beat. If you have seen my current setup there is zero room in the cabinet. The pain about using them was befor the kamoer pump was released. With that pump that displays the ml in a digital form it makes it dump proof. The month alone that I added it the growth was unreal. If I had the space in my current tank hands down it we be on it no questions asked.
@EAT SLEEP Reef ok good to hear. I’m gonna eventually try one myself. It’s just expensive to get going and have to go get CO2 bottles is gonna suck. Thanks for your input. 👍🏼
Great video. I also use a reactor and my dkh,cal and mag has been stable but my regulator constantly kicks on and off. I'm using a carbon doser with apex and also have the kamoer. what should I adjust to keep the carbon doser on so I'm not putting so much stress on the solenoid.
Hello brother how are you. I have the same system exactly as you have and my tank ALK is dropped to 6.40 and as you said i have increased dosing pump from 4 to 10 ml and after 24 h i checked my tank ALK found increase to 7.40 AlK. But on my pH display in reactor dropped to 5.60 is it normal. !!
Great video explaining this. Almost ready to make the jump to a calcium reactor.
Very good explanation. I dialed mine in with no solenoid control just a set SPB co2 and a Kamora. It’s an amazing pump👍🏾👍🏾
Ya great pump for
Sure
Great video. I got to make one about my calcium reactor. I don't understand how it keeps the tank balanced no matter what I do. Weird.
Great information! Thanks brother!
Great explanation of the calcium reactor...how are you liking you kamoer dosing pump?
Thanks! Honestly so easy to tune with it.
@@eatsleepreef9565 super clean setup too...come help me set this one when I get mine..ha..thanks again

Nice and simple. Setting mine up tomorrow, so thanks for the timely vid! LOL
Have fun man and good luck 🤙🏼
Great video. Great information. Definitely going to miss this tank but I'm looking forward to watching you build the new tank in the new home
Isn’t that what it says?
@@eatsleepreef9565 it was imovie 32 or something before. It's fixed now and I fixed my comment
Ahh gotcha lol
Great explanation. In the process of setting my Calc reactor up now.. what are you keeping your alk at?

On that regulator not sure if you can control the input. I don’t think you can

I would get a calc reactor but for my nuvo 60 dosing all for reef is too easy as you can see on my channel not much coral
What co² regulator do you use? I bought an amazon special and solenoid stopped working in 2 weeks time
Hey guys, everything is perfect. Time to tear it all down and build a slightly larger aquarium. Peace.
would you wont to run kalk for ph also?
