I have a 15 gallon with no skimmer and do weekly water changes and it’s been up and growing softies, LPs, and easy SPS for 8 months now! I also have 0 nutrients so I couldn’t use it any ways 😅
I’m running a RSR750 right now without a skimmer. Big refugium and some carbon. About 15 fish with mostly SPS and zoas. No issue with nutrients at all. Just do a 10% weekly water change and dose.
I have no skimmer on my first tank (waterbox 20). Just starting to add corals recently after ~3 months and I’m at around 5 ppm nitrate and undetectable phosphate. Sticking with softies/LPS for now but hoping to eventually add 1 or 2 easy SPS in a few months if the nutrients stay the same.
Beautiful tank just way to many fish for such small tank.... anything can be achieved with water changes I had a 2.6 pico mixed tank that I had to literally crop every 3 weeks from the corals just over growing. Just did water change every 3 days of 1 gallon used pro salt and made sure water was the same temp when mixing and wa-la done
What a gorgeous tank...awesome color scheme. And I love the Helfrich's firefish!
I absolutely love seeing this tank and that bounce mushroom you could use as a pillow!
Absolutely unbelievable tank!!! I think he has my dream coral list all in one tank 😍😍😍 🌈 Your JBJ is still my favourite of all time
Wow such a beautiful reef tank, the corals really pop in that tank!!

The LEDs on this tank made the corals look genetically modified (like glo fish)
He has some beautiful coral and operating the tank with minimal effort. Dosing the Brightwell products shows in the colors of the corals..
Water changes FTW!!
beautiful tank - how do you get your sand white looks very nice
looks good!
I have the exact same issue with nutrients, struggling to get above double zeros, :(
I love lps 😍.
what is his lighting colour mix and intensify over the photoperiod?
i might go skimmerless in my new waterbox 15g
What size water changes is he doing
He uses a very fine grain. I’ve tried it but I couldn’t keep it clean. I believe it’s Carib sea naturals
Is there sand in the tank?
Was thinking the same thing might be bahama oolite sand?
$6500 acanthro...
