My ‘21 3500 with an Aisin clunks pretty bad when I shift from reverse to drive, etc. I might get the rear end checked out now. And my “live view” mirror camera has “drooped” totally off-center while I’m towing and going down the road… twice. It fixed itself both times after a few power cycles, but I’d be willing to bet it’ll do it again.
Mine does the same after I drive for a bit and go from Drive to Reverse it’s a very loud thud/clunk from the rear end it sounds like almost. My brothers does the same. Both aisin’s as well
That's better good the dealer didn't say the rear end went out because of the "lift or tries" plus you buy a lot at that dealer they will not bit the hand that feeds them
Paul.. what size tires are you running? I just threw a set of 295/70/18 Falken tires on my truck and I'm wondering if I should have gone one size down...
Rear end noise is normal as stated, my 5500 does the same 89k maxed out miles, 1000 idle hours and 1 regen cycle in that time. Built to haul, not the mall.
I see that E55 in the background 👀 Not to get away from diesel stuff, I’m a cummins/diesel tech, but what’s the word with that?! Edit** to let you know, the dodge dealer typically won’t let their techs rebuild a diff. Too much to go wrong, they’ll throw in a whole assembly because it “saves time & money”
@Debbie Ozner hate to hear that. It took them atleast a month before making any head way to getting it even looked at. Have ya gotten ahold of your Stellantis rep yet?
@@bartman8876 yes, they said needs a new trans but Ram wants to rebuild. The shop doesn’t do trans work / rebuilds so they want new. Very hard to get ahold of anyone especially since it’s at a shop 7 hours from home. Have you had yours diagnosed/ repaired?
@Debbie Ozner yes new trans was sent got there Thursday before Xmas and shop is saying they are focused on getting me taken care of so I can get back to going weekend of new years. This break down has taken a massive chunk out of my savings and xmas
@@bartman8876 I am so glad to hear this for you. How long did it take overall? My truck is at 25 days today and no word of anything happening anytime soon. I spend probably 2 hours a day trying to reach someone or discussing the issue over and over. I’ve I have been out of work as I need to pull my horses/horse trailer to work. Any concern the new one will have the same issue or are they reassuring you the problem is “solved”? I was told anything built after November is “ok” by RAM.
My 2011 is great I would love a new one but It's way to hard to justify when I have something that works (no variable vein geometry turbo, no def, no dpf, no cp4). I have drove fifth gens though and definitely want one but I guess it's just a want not a need.
First problem is it's a Ram. I had a 2018 Lariat Longhorn that had a vibration that they were not able to fix. Sold it at 12,000 miles for a 30,000 loss.
I want a 5th gen theyre beautiful trucks but think I'll hold on to my deleted g56 4th gen.
Sweet truck. Emissions are the weakest link for sure.
Live it when your son cruises by on the 4 wheeler. Just rolls by, looks over....sup dude?
So much for 2021 being the year to buy.
Jk
The title made me think there was an Aisin problem. Sounds like a rearend and a camera problem.
Click bait

2018 best year of the 6.7 , had a complete rear end change at 6,000 miles same problem.
Love my 2012 g56 last year without DEF
Hi paul like the color. what color is your ram? Thanks.
You sound buzzed…cheers 🍻
Thanks Paul, we always love to see the personal truck. Makes for great videos, Blessings

I know the guy has good taste for sure. My dream truck is a 3500 mega cab Cummins and a 2015/2016 e63 amg
Let’s do a video on the AMG
How many miles do you have on your personal truck?
Which mud flaps are on her?
I have the same desk and truck. 😂
I have a brand new 2022 Ram 3500, I love the truck but my cargo camera isn't really clear like the back up camera🙃
My cargo cam on my '22 mega was crystal clear, the same on my '22 cclb is NOT
1488 miles trans just blew on 22 ram 3500 drw. aisin just gave out with a loud and rough banging sound
Saw your post my truck same story 3500’Limited DRW 3 weeks ago! 1538 miles on it. Stuck at shop needs new transmission. RAM doing nothing

My truck does the same. When reverse to drive, it bangs a little. It's very easy to throw out the backlash.
Kinda random but I have that same desk

Do you still run the EGR?
You don't have DEF or a CP4, but 2011s had a DPF and a VGT.
Unless you deleted all that....

Me too. Mine just hit 115k, I got rid of the problems and the truck is amazing. Don’t plan on selling it for a while

A steering brace fixes that problem. I bought one for $130. Easy to install.
Well there is no such thing as a 2018 Lariat Longhorn.
@@therenaissanceman5311 I stand corrected, Laramie Longhorn
Never turn on tow/haul regime it stops the truck with downshifting, never and your trans will live forever aisin can hold up-to 1000 hp Toyota 🫡
