Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2008 collection, "La Dame Bleue," was a tribute to the late Isabella Blow, who passed away in May of 2007 after consuming a fatal dose of the weedkiller Paraquat. Blow's extreme sense of glamour and personal style were both inspirational and highly influential on Mr. McQueen's own aesthetic.
