Appreciate the detailed reviews so much. Clippers are so expensive and I’m going 15-20 heads a day, so I need consistency over everything tbh. I currently use the Babyliss silver fx clipper and and trimmer. I LOVE the trimmer but the clippers get blocked up with hair wayyyy to easy and big down, causing me to have to thoroughly clean them too many times in a day; it drives me nuts. I just ordered these and I’m praying that they’re gonna be exactly what I need. I’m gonna stick with my Babyliss trimmers for now because I don’t have any issues with them other than the common getting hot issue, but a cool care on the station really solves that 🤷🏻♀️

I wouldn’t say you gotta have it. If you like the idea of the small clipper and the vector motor rpm boost that’s the main difference

Glad you cleared that up and did video for it .nice content and as much as I love my hitters this video has changed my mind and I feel that when I buy them they will be what they are advertising as and I was going for the sabers or the flex what do you think???😅
Sabers are still my favorites. Flex is close behind. These cut just as good but I dislike the shape of them.
I honestly have switched back and forth between rebel and ergo and I almost feel like the ergo is superior. My lineup was 2 rebels, ergo, babyliss boost. I sold one rebel, was planning on selling the boost also to pay for the new instinct but I think I might just buy another ergo and keep a stretch/faper and click/taper and run that. This is the first video where the instinct looked like it wasn’t miles ahead of what’s already out. Not worth $240 at least 🤷🏽♂️

Do you prefer the instinct over the gamma boosted/sc rebel? Think I wanna get one of the three but can’t find the instinct or rebel anywhere.
Nah I still like the boosted shape better. Instincts are good but I didn’t like the small body very much
If you have to choose this clipper or the Gamma X-Ergo Linear clipper, which one would you choose?
Honestly I don’t love the shape of either but I think I like the x ergo better

Bro for bulk and fade wich is better, rebelr or instinct?
I don’t have any issues with the rebel but the instinct vector motor is made to up rpm’s for bulk. Haven’t found it any better than the rebel though

I’m a girl w small hands sometimes I use the Wahl senior and am upgrading. It is too bulky. Do you think I should do w this or the rebel or gamma boost?
I am leaning towards the instinct set bc they are smaller and still have fusion blade b
The instinct is definitely much smaller. The boosted would be just like your senior but way lighter 👌🏻
@@Seancutshair I got the boosted and some gamma dubs. I am going to pick up some andis zr2 and saber trimmers. Between these 3 I think I’ll enjoy an updated work station. I’ll be pleasantly surprised is this style craft brand gives wahl/andis a run 4 the money.

How do you take out the notches from the clipper?
You can make it a floating lever I believe
You just take the lever off and take out the pin and spring that clicks into the notches

Idk about that. Everybody always asks but I don’t get hung up on it. It opens further with the stretch bracket

I’m not sure about that it didn’t say that anywhere. Everybody is always concerned about those things I don’t know that it’s that huge of a difference we’re talking millimeters.

Take the clipper apart and get the hair off of the switch witch causes it not to work

I got the gamma boosted brand new and it’s pulling hair, any reasons why this is happening out of the box?
May just need to reset it. Make sure it’s oiled I’ve never seen it do that.

@@paulbrutsky8529 If that doesn't work and you are using a short tooth cutter on longer hair, you might want to try a deep tooth cutter. It feeds longer hair better and won't snag.
hey whats up sean, quick question. my lever screw on the instinct is not coming off for some reason, i screw right and left and it does nothing , does not tighten nor loosen. Do you have any idea how i can remove the screw ?

Don't know about the goblin but I own the stinger and saber. My stinger (magnetic) is basically now the same as the instinct minus the torque boost because I had to buy the xpro blade. Original caliber blade...is not where it's at. Even so I'd still go with the saber.
Just picked up some mythics really want these but aren't available till February 😑
Just use the mythics for a bit and pick them up later 👌🏻

Had to come back Sean and say I bought them clipper instincts. And i love them. Only problem i have is one., mine get wayyyy to hot! Warm within a minute or 2 and after that went down hill HOT. I cannot fade and then blend with guards as it gets stupid hot. Other than that they are hitters
Make sure they’re oiled to reduce the amount of friction. May still get hot but maybe it will help.

I know this video is a year old but maybe you will see my question. I ordered this clipper and trimmer a few months ago. I’m a hairdresser that’s doing a lot more men’s hc’s. So. Not as familiar with the ends and outs of the clipper world.
Tonight I ask my husband to trim my neck with the trimmers. I can’t even tell you how badly it felt.( no one has complained) skip forward 4 hours and I now have whelps on my neck. No. My husband didnt didn’t do anything weird. What in the heck is wrong with these trimmers. They were oiled . Thanks so much.

So I got the goblin cause the instinct wasn’t available. It’s not any better than my rebels or even ergos. I might send them back or sell them.

@@Seancutshair I have the newer 9v version with slim deep tooth cutter and faper blade. It honestly feels like the same power and speed as the goblin but like it’s not going to fly out of my hand. And somehow it seems faster even….

I'm hoping one you fine men can help a brother out... lol So I've been using the Andis T-outiner for for like 10 years now as I'm basically bald so I use it to shave my head because I don't like shaving it with an actual razor. I use the Andis T-outliner, then go over it again with the Andis foiler to get as close to scalp as possible. I've been having problems with the Andis T-outliner lately as it's just not hitting. Tried changing the blades, adjusting tension screw, yada...yada...yada. I've finally decided get with times and try something new. Looking for the best trimmer in terms of how close it will shave to bald me up, and low maintenance. I don't care how it looks, feels, how loud it is, or how long it's holds a charge. Don't care even care if it's cordless or not, as it's just for personal use. Can anyone help? lol I'll pay 500 bucks if I get like decent use out of it, and it shaves super close. P.S, I usually only shave my head about once a week but I have very fine hair if that matters...lol.

@@Seancutshair Damn, already purchased the saber...lol. It's okay, I tried it out and hit it my foiler after it I don't think you can get much closer without actually using a razor so I'm happy with the purchase.

What are your thoughts on the goblin vs the boosted?
Boosted or instinct? The two are the same if you’re talking instinct. The boosted is still my preference over either.

How is this clipper with Bulk. In comparison to other clippers out?
It’s solid with bulk. Probably as good as anything else
@Seancutshair what would you say it's cons are?
@Seancutshair I heard they get hot quick and sometimes the motor doesn't respond quickly enough and they'll get caught up on bulk for a second until they adjust...
@@1ReaZon I didn’t even notice them ever kick up rpm’s unless I used my finger to slow the blade down, then it changed pretty quick. They did heat up a little too
