I've watched a bunch of faded culture videos. I learned the most from this one. Specifically from the mistakes shown and how to correct them. Would love to see a video showing common mistakes new and experienced barbers make. And how to resolve them 🙏🏽
Where was this video when I First started to cut hair 8 months back 😭😅‼️ Now at the barbershop, surrounded by people who can cut hair definitely can improve you ‼️ Shout Out To WestCoastBarber Shop ❤️ Now I’m the Manager There Now it’s Crazy How Being A Barber Can Change Someone Life 💯❤️ Watching Y’all’s Videos 8 Months Back Has Help Me A lot ! Thank You
This is the best video for beginners to learn to fade and eliminate guidelines. The best part is the questions asked throughout the haircut and how you can identify areas where a beginner would run into issues. You hit the nail on the head when you pointed out how far to take the clipper according to where the blade is cutting. Thank you!
I loved the teaching and patience. I’m a new home barber and my son has been my “client”. He has me doing fades and that line is very frustrating but teaches me patience. Yes, my eyes do lie to me sometimes but I like how you say focus on smaller sections because that’s definitely my issue.
Love this series of teaching beginners! I've been cutting me and my little boy's hair for a couple of years but only recently worked up the nerve to try doing fades. Watched a number of people on UA-cam and your explanations are by far the best and what got me to finally start doing fades. This beginner video is super helpful because since I just started my first attempt a couple of weeks ago, I made some of the mistakes Richard did. So hearing you explain things like pushing the tip of the clippers in, don't scoop too hard, etc., is exactly what I needed. Keep up the great work!
Hello sir, I’ve been a hairstylist for ten years now and mad respect to the barber game. May I say that what I got from 5:20-5:40 literally was the key, no one ever has explained cutting like that - thank you so much, I hope I gain the confidence to cut men’s hair soon!
Got my clippers, trimmers, and tomorrow I cut my first head! Starting with my kids and their neighborhood friends first. I’m nervous as hell, barbering is a whole new world for me. But you guys give me hope with your tutorials. Wish me luck!!
@@isaacsilvernagel12 Went good bro. I did the drop fade shown in the video. A lot of people said it wasn’t bad for my first cut. I’ve been doing more and more, but simple ones. Like a 4 all even or 3 all even with a line up. Going to invest in a better clipper and trimmer though. Mines are from Amazon and they ass lol
You guys are such great instructors. These videos put you guys back in a place where you can see beginner mistakes, understand them and have a chance to correct them. This video is so valuable as a beginner. Love every video you guys put out, these specifically are on repeat. Hopefully you guys offer a paid course or some one on one instructional online. Thanks!
Oh man if you're in college hopefully it's for something better than a Barber. Dream Bigger and Better. Keep grinding the college for something good so you don't have to be a Barber 👊✌️
Kia Ora my friend, this is exactly what I've been looking for as first time cutting hair...got 5 boys n no money to pay for haircuts anymore so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and world

This video was on point 👉!! I've been cutting my own hair for YEARS out of fear of finding a new barber after mine retired. I've tried to find a new barber countless times, different shops, recommendations, and reviews from the internet. Got to the point I just gave up and started doing it myself. No disrespect to the barbers I tried cause they all earned their money and did good. My hair is hard to deal with cause it grows every way you could imagine and I'm a bit of a picky perfectionist when it comes to my hair and beard. I'm great with the line up but have just been cutting it all with one length out of fear of trying to fade it myself. I've seen many videos like this and they were good but I never felt confident trying like I did after yours 👌. You're a great teacher, everything was simplified but perfect at the same time. Even your corrections are great, you throw the humor in and it just makes the teachable moments good. You both hooked it up, Reubens cut is exactly how I've wanted my fade and beard. Richard is doing great already man keep at it!!. The 3 days later joke was great cause my wife gave me shit about how long I was taking. She kept telling me it was fine but I knew I could make it better if I just kept taking my time and going at it like you said. I did this cause I have a job interview today and was super nervous but somehow confident (had this video to look back on multiple times). She told I me I was crazy when she came home and saw just the first line and I told her what I was doing. She's still tripping off the end result... and I'm feeling good I pulled this off. No cap her friend is a hair stylist, and I had her text her and told her to be ready in case of emergency haha. There was no need though. She asked for a pic of the end result and was tripping off the cut. She was jealous and asked for the link lol. She's cut my hair before but had trouble and really isn't use to cutting course hair either. I give you all the credit though. Good looking out my man, you're great at what you do so keep it up. 💯
One of the best fade tutorials I have seen. You gave some important details that probably usually come with experience. Like the point that the hair has to travel all the way to the blades to get cut. As a rookie, I thought the edge of my guards were the point of cutting. This video of teaching other newbies was gold. 💪🙏
Had to give props for taking the time to slow it down for us beginners this video has helped more than any other video cause I could never remove those guide lines but having Richard trying to remove it with your help you corrected me what I’ve been doing wrong for so long. Thank you so much God bless
These tutorials are great! Been cutting my hair for years and never seen such a detailed tutorial. Doing a tutorial while actually teaching someone makes a world of difference.
Wow! I’ve been working @ Supercuts in Houston going on 2 mo. I have all my tools and never had such a in depth video . I’ve watched many fade videos and after watching this one I finally get, I cut my own hair and fades have been beyond me, I got home from work this morning and went straight to the clippers 😂 I did more of a taper fade I was so afraid to start high and have to wear a hat for a week but this vid is tough!
This was actually way better tutorial than any videos that I've seen before because of how he literally taking his hand and pointing where and how he should do it. 10* awesome
I love how this man teaches! I was able to cut my son’s hair following his direction. Had ppl complaining his barber, never mentioned it was me. I just said well that’s how you do it! Thank you!

I used to watch you boys when I first started barbering it’s been nearly 2 years barbering now and I’m killing it I follow your steps for fades and I have a lot of customers barbering changed my life
This man has only been cuttin for three months at the time of this video and he's having better quality cuts then most of these "barbers" out here that are letting clients in and out of their chair in 20 minutes charging $40 thinking that they deserve their clients money that they worked 3-4 hours to earn more than they deserve it. Some of these barbers out here need to step it up and put your clients first and not your pockets and your greed. If this man can do quality like this while still in school then there is no way barbers out here that have been licensed for several years can not be doing the same quality of haircuts. Step it up gentlemen and treat your clients the way they deserve to be treated. These clients and their children, and their children, and so on will be with you for the next 30-50 years potentially and you need to treat them as such. Great job Faded Culture.

Now this is how u make a tutorial on how to cut hair. Having someone thats also learning in the process makes it even better. I always see tutorials where they show u step by step what to do then later try doing it urself and end up frustrated asking why u didn't get the same results as the video. Thats where most of us forget that the guy on the tutorial probably already knows what he's doing while ur still trying to figure it out. 😩.. but this one changes it all. Very detailed and hands on the entire time. Appreciate the effort on making this video and sharing that knowledge for those who needs it.👍👍👍👍👊✌️

I’m 22 years old and I’m interested in becoming a barber. My own barber inspired me the fact that you can be your own boss and build relationships with your clients I found that appealing. Great video I really learned a lot
These are the best videos I've ever watched! You guys are so lucky to have videos like these. When I started there were no videos no UA-cam no cell phone.
You know those types of video that you just stumble across but the energy in the video just makes you watch it..😅 yeah..not even a barber but I subscribed. Great video, and dope tutorial, and cut. 💪🏾💪🏾
With your videos I am slowly teaching myself to cut my husbands hair. People have commented on how great it looks! Thanks for these amazing tutorials. 💕
Salute to y’all man. My son is 14 with twist for his hairstyle and he decided to ask his mom if I could learn how to fade cause he don’t want anyone else doing it. Though I am honored he said I have to be able to do mine first 😂. Wish me luck. I’ll be doing mine first today.
Hands down the best tutorial I’ve watched so far!! That was an incredible video brother 💯. And there is something about watching someone who isn’t a professional try to cut that helps that much more. Keep them coming boss I’m locked in on the channel now💯
I needed this video. I’ve had the hardest time figuring out how to fade. It’s my biggest challenge as a new stylist and this video was exactly what I needed. ❤👍🏻
This gotta be my favorite tutorial so far✊🏽 keep these coming please💪🏽 the way you simplified it was nice and you made good solid notes on the blends that’ll still w me
Don't worry about the time, it's about getting it done right. And then with time, you'll get better at getting it done right ...❤❤ Faded culture to the world 🌎 Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Bro i know i'm late to the party but that part where you explain where the clipper is actually cutting really helped me out. I struggle with going high enough because unconsciously, i'm thinking i'm cutting at the tip of the guard. solid dude thanks.
excellent video. Been binge watching your channel today and this is one of the best episodes. I'm currently teaching myself to barber and I get stuck once I've got rid of the guidelines. Knowing which guard to turn to in order to touch up the fade seems to be the most difficult part. I'll get there though. Thanks for the video!
As a barber student I really appreciate you for this. I struggle with keeping clean guidelines. I am going to apply what I learned today !!!! Keep the videos coming .
Thank you so much for this video. It’s more realistic to a beginner and the issues that we come across when fading. I just started a month ago and this really helps ❤
First time I run into your channel. Your tutorial is very good. I have 5 boys, its gotten quite expensive to take them to the barber, even to the salon. I definitely need to learn this.
This Was an awesome tutorial. You were so patient with him.,and you Are an awesome teacher!!!Also, he did an amazing job!!!Blessing to you guys on your Barbering Journey‼️‼️‼️👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🔥🔥🔥
Best Tutorial I've seen so far in explaining step by step and what to dos and don't's 🙌💯🙏 Respect. I love this Channel and has helped me improve my already good skills 😅 nah but fr this Channel and the Barbers 💈 are top notch 📸💯
I love the concept how you show from his mistakes this way I actually understand what i am doing wrong and how i can fix it. Please do more videos with similar approach. Thank you so much it will definitely help my fade to be more crispy.
This was the best tutorial video I've ever watched. I'd love to see more of these types of videos where you use a beginner barber to do different cuts.
this was such a good video as a upcoming barber to look really deep in depth into the fade and to have you watching over to show how to take out dark spots helped defo do more of this videos
I've watched a bunch of faded culture videos. I learned the most from this one. Specifically from the mistakes shown and how to correct them. Would love to see a video showing common mistakes new and experienced barbers make. And how to resolve them 🙏🏽

You guys are so lucky to have videos like these. When I started there were no videos no UA-cam no cell phone.
lol same I learned from trial and error
This was perfect! Please keep doing these for beginners! 😊
Thank you! Will do!
This was great I’ve been a barber for 3 years now it always nice to observe in all perspectives.
The best video format . I saw thing you had never tell on other video. And wow the relentless shirt is the most beautiful tee shirt I ever seen
Hands down the best tutorial I’ve watched so far!! That was an incredible video brother 💯. And there is something about watching someone who isn’t a professional try to cut that helps that much more. Keep them coming boss I’m locked in on the channel now💯
Glad it was helpful!
My dude is a genius. Nobody fades better!
And then with time, you'll get better at getting it done right ...❤❤ Faded culture to the world 🌎
Love from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Bro i know i'm late to the party but that part where you explain where the clipper is actually cutting really helped me out. I struggle with going high enough because unconsciously, i'm thinking i'm cutting at the tip of the guard. solid dude thanks.
Yeah that tip gets overlooked so I’m glad it helped you bro 🙏🏽
excellent video. Been binge watching your channel today and this is one of the best episodes. I'm currently teaching myself to barber and I get stuck once I've got rid of the guidelines. Knowing which guard to turn to in order to touch up the fade seems to be the most difficult part. I'll get there though. Thanks for the video!
Hands down the BEST mentor ! Thank you big Serg !
Awesome, love the teaching of beginners and cutting of hair style ❤

This video was great! I would love to see more videos like please 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for this video. It’s more realistic to a beginner and the issues that we come across when fading. I just started a month ago and this really helps ❤

I appreciate that!
This was the best tutorial video I've ever watched. I'd love to see more of these types of videos where you use a beginner barber to do different cuts.
this was such a good video as a upcoming barber to look really deep in depth into the fade and to have you watching over to show how to take out dark spots helped defo do more of this videos
