Would you consider a video for clipper options for home users doing a haircut once a month or so? Might not be of interest to you but I think lots of people got into it the last few years and might be looking to upgrade their initial entry purchase but not quite go $200 into it. Some potential criteria might be: -price (sub 150) -weight (for holding behind own head for a lot of time) -bulk removing -stays cool -low noise -can hold a useful charge for extended period of not being used or maybe has cord option I was leaning toward wahl pro magic cord/cordless, but your videos have me really considering spending another 50 for the jrl 2020 or maybe the stylecraft mythic on amazon. Thanks
I personally use a rebel for home cuts, but I think a corded senior would be your best bet (as long as it's not too expensive). Other than that, based on your criteria, I think a JRL would suit you the best, since it's quiet and stays cool. But my advice would be to look for a corded senior first (as long as your ok with having a corded clipper)
A professional providing knowledge to cut hair at home is stupid! Just because the industry is not regulated, doesn’t give a professional the right to share trained skills 👀
Why no Andis masters or Oster classic 76 we were cutting hair with them back in the day with no problem now with all this new stuff it's like you can't survive with the old stuff.
The andis envy 2 with a master blade is slept on, nobody talking about it but it’s what the cordless fast feeds should have been. Puts out a soft blend with its slow speed
I’ve never tried a S/C clipper but I bought cordless master at the CT Barber expo and have been doing the best blending ever. I have JRL and Caliber 50 which is magnetic so like the ergo but there is just something about that master blade with the purple guards!
Hey thanks for these great videos. I opened my barbershop in 1997 and love the rebels but iv been through a few switches and they get super loud. I was wondering if you experienced any of that? Thanks Eddie
@@Barberev if you have the original Rebel, you might want to try a newer one there’s about five key updates they made and one of them is addressing the noise by changing the cam followers and the blade runners. You can purchase the cam followers on their website, but the Blade Runner is part of the case.

i was very disappointed in it. i was such a huge fast feed fan and when they released it there were some major shortcuts taken. So i was kinda upset and didnt like the way it performed. That blade is still nice tho
What I don't like about the rebel super set, is that the branding is gonna be worn off within a month. Same as the white lid on the metal instinct. The gold SC is gone and it's been 3 weeks. I ended up replacing them with the original instinct black lid and it's better I think. We'll see

I disagree, I’ve had the Alpha clipper from style craft , the rebel n boosted . The senior from Wahl is better than the metal instinct from style craft because through time it’s just going to get loud when u spray ur cool care.
