I have an acera RD on a Triban 3 recently switched cassette from 12 26 to 11 32. Gives a huge range, 3 x 8 gears. Claris shifters. Cassette cost 19 GBP. Strong recommendation.

I have shimano Acera and Shimano Tourney TX for my back and front derailleurs, they came with my Veloce V300 bike (8x3). I have not noticed any bad things, should I wait a while or change the whole groupset to deore with 1x12 or like 1x10 drivetrain?
If I were you, I would test ride other groupsets and decide. Also if you don't ride any insane mileage, you are fine. No need uograding if you got no needs.

So, i was thinking to change my tourney for deore. I have 7 speed cassette. It is self made e-bike with 750w bafang motor. U am not pleased with stock tourney oerformance so i want to upgrade to more quality one. I am now lost. Which should i buy? Deore or acera? And if i choose deore can it be used in 7 speed cassette? Thanks in advance.
Alen those two are the similar quality. You are probably aiming for XTR, which is the higher end stuff. So do research whats the best bang for your $$$.

I have a professional bike shop who recommended the acera as an upgrade to my tourney. My Ebike is a freesky Himalaya with a 750 bafang motor as well. They are installing it in the next 2 days or so bc my tourney just wasn't clean enough when switching gears the few times I even was. But also my chain is prob stretched as well which is why I'm getting that replaced as well. Recommend going with a hycline or kmc, or Zonkie chain. More of the better reviewed chains I have been looking at.
I have this rear derailleur on my bike would upgrading to a deore m592 be worth the extra $40?
I would leave it as is if it works well.

I have this but honestly dont know what makes one good and one bad. Dont they all do the samething?
They are all good since it is made by Japanese Shimano, but some are slightly better in performance. If everything is working , keep it that way and enjoy cyclist.

Mine has a problem on 4th gear sometimes
It makes a wierd sound, i guess it is not properly shifting to that gear
Have a look if rear derailleur hanger is bent.

@AMJ839 If you placed the bike against the wall, you could have misaligned rear derailleur. This video may help.

I had an acera for almost a year now but no matter what i did, the Performance got worse every day. Now i upgraded to an deore 10 Speed and it works way more smooth than the acera. This was just my experience but yeah…
