"Fearless" is a wonderful song and it's absence form Pink Floyd's "Echoes" compilation was puzzling, especially considering some of the 80's/90's crud that made the cut.
Fun fact about Meddle Floyd actually started writing and demo-ing a song called 'The Dark Side of The Moon' during the Meddle sessions, the song wasn't finished in time and so was moved to their next album (though they then were tasked with created a soundtrack that would be Obscured by Clouds), the title was then decided to be the name of the album and the song was completed and re-named 'Brain Damage'
Lots of surprises in this episode (meant as a compliment). The triple gatefold was cool. The quadruple gatefold (Yessongs) even cooler! I agree you can hear on Meddle what was to come on Dark Side. I will check out the Herbie Hancock album (I remember that being a fun song) and only heard one song from Ben Folds (Brick). I also liked the clear vinyl. Both Beatles albums are musts for every Beatles fan's collection (For Sale, an original album from 1964 and Hey Jude an American collection). Interesting you got 2 different eras of Elvis Costello (Armed Forces, punkish new wave and Punch The Clock, sophisticated pop). Lots of spoilers in this comment, so apologies to readers who haven't watched this yet!
The purpose of that "Beatle Again" compilation album was to release songs that Capitol records never put on an LP previously. "Can't Buy Me Love" & "I Should Have Known Better" were originally issued on the United Artists label soundtrack album release of "A Hard Days Night". All other songs on the album were issued only on singles. I believe "Old Brown Shoe" and "I Should Have Known Better" may not have even been on a single previously.
I may owned that Beatles for Sale Album! Sold it back in 1988 in a used record store back in Libertyville Illinois called Dog Ear Records...I bought it back in 1983 in the Philippines and took it with me when I immigrated to the US in 1985! When I saw it, I was like that might be the exact copy that I traded in back in ‘88! So weird! 🤣🤣🤣
Dude, I just found your channel and I'm so amazed. Very well produced and interesting content. I'm going to watch and like all your video's now because you deserve way more subscribers than you currently have. Keep making them and cheers for the free entertainment.
Great artwork on the YesSongs album. My favorite artist Roger Dean who did most of the Yes album covers. Also did covers for Uriah Heep, Asia, Budgie, Greenslade, Gentle Giant & many many more. All his art is amazing.
R.E.M. are fantasic. Reckoning, Lifes Rich Pageant, Document Automatic for the people are great and worth your time. The debut is obviously one of the greatest albums of the 80s.
By far their great works were when they were on IRS Records. Their style changed after they made the switch to Warner Bros. All of the IRS are the perfect set.
Pink Floyds "Meddle" is an amazing . HOLY SHIT YOU GOT 4 pink floyd albums. I HAVE NOT WATCHED THIS VIDEO AND YOU JUST SAID "4 ALBUMS" ANIMALS IS AN AWESOME ALBUM! You should do more reviews on pink floyd. One of my favorite bands. It is my favorite band.
Late comment, (I just picked up on your channel), for a long time I thought Animals was the best Pink Floyd album. I no longer think in terms of best or favorite since a personal evaluation can depend on so many variables that change back and forth over time. As to The Beatles "Hey Jude" LP: that was released by Capitol not long after the bust up. The rationale for the selections was that these were songs that did not appear on any other Capitol LP. So, you've got songs from "Hard Day's Night" but those were also singles from Capitol that never appeared on a Capitol album. I remember when I bought it a friend was mocking me for it. But I didn't care, I was hungry for Beatles product and I loved the looks of the album.pm
The Beatles Hey Jude album was released in early 1970 and offered fans a chance to have some of the songs released originally on 45's to be on one album. The Cure Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me from 1987 is a great place to start. Also the cassette version of Standing On A Beach had a whole second side of B-sides. Great video, very professional!
The cover of *Meddle* is of an ear when you un fold it. Strangely enough, I also just purchased *Yessongs*: 2 Hours long. Has all of *The Yes Album*, *Fragile* and *Close to the Edge*.
Only recently discovered your channel and I really enjoy it. I know it's not vynil but once you've listened to Echoes off Meddle a few thousand times, you MUST watch Pink Floyd Echoes live at Pompeii 1971. It will change your life.
One of my favorite Beatles comps, Hey Jude, aka The Beatles Again! It's a fun album! When I first got it, I thought it was the 1969 Beatles doing some of their earlier music! Had no idea it was a compilation! I've got a version with the labels saying the album name Hey Jude and another copy with the album name The Beatles Again.
If it were me, I'd keep both Dark Side Of The Moon copies. Animals is still my favorite Floyd though. I always find it interesting that Pink Floyd followed commercial radio success with Dark Side of The Moon and Wish You Were Here with an album that it was clear was not going to be heard on the radio. Bold move. Fantastic album.Nice haul Vinyl Rewind!
I came here yo see what Beatles and Pink Floyd stuff you got. Was absolutely surprised and delighted to see Yessongs in here. It's my favorite Yes album if I'm allowed to say a live album is my favorite album. I got it on vinyl about a month and a half ago and it's probably my favorite album I own. And as for the Pink Floyd stuff, Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, and Animals are my three favorite Pink Floyd albums they are the only albums I own on vinyl from them. The Wall doesn't really do anything for me and it's one of my least favorite Pink Floyd albums. But if you're really into it, it's a score for you.
2:15 Great album, it's very sincere and honest in terms of lyrical content. I feel that the instruments are very warm in terms of its sound. I'd give it a 9 out of 10, very high recommendation. My favorite song on the album is "Better When You Were Blue." Thank you Vinyl Geek for bringing this album to my attention and thank you Nate for making such adman good album. Keep up the good work for both of you.
I took my extra pressings of dark side to the Record shop. As you said " great art work" put that prism out, and it sells its self. I feel extra copes are preventing someone els from enjoying it. Always have two copies :)
I think you will like the Live album maybe more than the releases... Pink Floyd explosion - Meddle is definitely a good one. Murmur, Standing on the Beach - my junior high years...
With REM, the best is everything from Chronic Town to Document. Basically their IRS years. Yes, some later albums are good like Out of Time and Automatic for the People, but the early albums were a different breed. Especially check out Murmur, for my money the best they ever did.
If you're not strapped for shelf space , I'd probably keep both Floyd albums without giving them another thought . But , if you have a good friend that would enjoy the music , I'd definitely unload one or the other . Like the old show tune says , Make Someone Happy .
I should do a post about this on my blog, but since you showed Standing on a Beach, I'll point out a couple of things about it. In 1986 vinyl was still a going concern, so this compilation came out on cassette, LP and CD as well as VHS. The LP, Cassette and CD/VHS all have slightly different tracklists and different titles. The LP and Cassette are called "Standing on a Beach" and the CD/VHS is called "Staring at the Sand"-- both lines from their song "Killing an Arab" which incidentally caused the release to have a sticker that pointed out that the band was not anti-Arab or advocating racism. (The song is based on Albert Camus's "The Stranger"). So, I guess the CD ends up being the soundtrack to the VHS since they share a tracklist and a title that incorporates vision. The LP is really nice to have, but the killer release is the cassette version which was a 90-minute compilation with a selection of their (at the time) rare b-sides on the flipside. Ultimately, those songs became some of my favorites (especially "I'm Cold" with it's searing lead guitar and the crazy backwards echo!!!). Back before people had CD burners, I found a guy in the back of Goldmine Magazine who, for like $75, would take a cassette and burn you a CD (you had to tell him the track gap times, so I sent along a list of the gaps that I had to write down). So, I had a B-Sides collection on CD for many years before Elektra finally put out the "Join the Dots" CD box set.
Whoa, $75 for a tape to CD transfer? That's insane but there is a fair amount of work involved but man have times changed. And CD burners were super expensive at one time too, so that makes sense. Thanks for the backstory, I had no idea.
I have an original 1973 pressing of Dark Side of The Moon, decent to borderline ok condition for the sleeve, but the record itself is in amazingly good condition and only a few minor crackling sounds. Found it in a Half Price Books for $24.
This was my a huge first when I was in high school. First Yes album. First live album, and first three-album set. Still one of my favorite live albums.
Beatles For Sale is my favorite out of all of those, but Dark Side of the Moon is good. I've never heard the Hey Jude album. I'll have to check it out.
That cover of Armed Forces is weird. I'm pretty sure the original British pressing has the elephants on the front cover and the painting on the back. It's a great album. Oliver's Army is one of my favourites.
I got an original 1973 dark side of the moon album for I think $10. There’s a $5 sticker on it tho so it may have even been less. No clue how it’s in great condition. They clearly didn’t know what they had, it was also maybe 10 years ago when vinyl was at a real low in terms of prices tho too. Still it’s like my favorite thing I own.
I recently got Future Shock but never got to listen to it. It did take me a while to find it. I just love Meddle! Keep both DSOTM copies. Classics albums such as that one deserve at least a backup copy in any decent collection. Hey Jude's original title was "The Beatles Again". It has mostly tracks from singles that had never been released on LP up to that point. I bought my 1st copy in the early 80s just to have "Rain", a killer B-side! Beatles For Sale was released in North America as "Beatles 65" and "Beatles VI".
+aldiakaroofus Didn't they take the back cover photo for the cover of The Early Beatles? I heard that about The Beatles Again and some records escape out with labels still bearing that name
Meddle is awesome. Probably my favourite Floyd simply because it's so underplayed compared to Dark Side and Wish You Were Here. There are two different covers for Costello's Armed Forces. The UK edition has the elephants on the front cover, and the image is full scale, like a framed painting. The original pressings actually folded out to reveal lots of different covers that you could rearrange in a new order! You can check it out here... wharferj.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/barney-bubbles-elvis-costello-armed-forces/ Great album from his prime.
Hi man. Some great finds there. How about reviewing the Human League's 'Reproduction' & 'Travelogue' albums. It would be great if you compared the UK & Canadian pressings of 'Travelogue', different covers & some differences in tracks too. Best wishes, see you man 😊
R.E.M. album has *Pretty Persuasion*. It was an obvious influence on The Tragically Hip. *Beatles For Sale* was a UK release on Parlaphone. It's American counterpart is Beatles '65. *Hey Jude* included not only the single Hey Jude, but it's B-side "Revolution". Not really a compilation per se, but a chance for Capitol to release all the singles they hadn't put on albums yet. One on the poorest sellers in their catalogue. *Early Beatles* was the result of - if you can believe it - Capitol passing as the US distributor on the 1st Beatles record. That belonged to Vee Jay records and their release *Introducing The Beatles* (I had a copy!). When the licence lapsed, Capitol snapped it up and *Early Beatles* was the result. Not released until '65. *Armed forces* was one of the first albums to be originally released with a bar code.
Are you based out of phoenix? For Dark side I would keep whichever sounds better. I hear the Dutch pressings were better than the U.S. copies but that depends on condition.
The hey Jude is original. To my knowledge it was never repressed. It's a collection of all the singles the Beatles released but didn't put on their albums because in Britain at the time it was considered a sell out move. I have a copy as well plays through beautifully although the cover is pretty beat up. I got it for $10. How much was yours?
+Vinyl Rewind to my knowledge it is not part of the official Beatles catalog considering it wasn't re released and it's not on the list for their studio albums. It is only on googles list from what I've found for Beatles albums. It's a really neat piece to have in a Beatles collection. How does your copy play?
+Vinyl Rewind one way to tell that the hey Jude is original just in case you got some weird reissue from Japan or something, you have the title hey Jude on the spine and the Beatles again on the label. Hope that makes sense
They've put out most of Billy Joels albums as well as some Bob Dylans, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Dire Straits, Jefferson Starship, Greatful Deads and others. The ones I've bought so far have been really good. Expensive but worth it, if it's an artist you really love.
I have some Netherlands pressing (Springsteen, Poplice, Alan Parsons) and they are all great in terms of vinyl quality and sound. I would deicide by listening to the US pressing and the Netherlands one. I only have an Italian pressing of Dark Side and it sound very bad. It's in VG condition but the sound is bland with not much low end.
Check discogs. It will give you the average selling price for just about any album out there. Just check your matrix number etched on the record and match that up with the album on the site to figure out what pressing you have.
If you don't want that Ben Folds Five Live album, perhaps we can work something out? I met Ben Folds in Seattle after a show, loved their music years ago. Just picked up the So There album with the signed print. I have an idea for at least one single I'd like to send you to check out. Also, my wife wanted to know what the song is at the end of some of your videos. It's at the end of this one. Is it an actual song, or just something out together for your show?
+ElCrab Sure, PM me or send me an email thevinylgeek@vinylrewind.tv The song is the show's theme song cut up, here's the full version ua-cam.com/video/o8849XhEtDw/v-deo.html
+Vinyl Rewind my uncle has copies of meddle and animals:) and I'm trying to find copies of those two albums on Viynl:) my uncle is letting me borrow his copy of meddle
I got an original UK export pressing of Dark Side Of The Moon for less than $10. The cover has the signature of a previous owner on it. The side 2 label has a big white circle where a sticker may have been torn off. The vinyl is not in near mint condition but plays through just fine, it has no major scratches. Does anyone know if this is worth anything?
If the triangle on the label is solid, you might have something. Otherwise, you still got a good deal www.discogs.com/Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon/master/10362
I did some research and several sites say that although the original UK pressing has the solid triangle, the export version does not. Mine doesn't have it.
+Joe Dee I don't know the full story, but they came from my friend's grandparents. I know at one point his grandpa was a music manager but I'm not sure if they got the crates because of that or the fact they loved the Beatles. Either way, the crates (I have two of them) are awesome
Meddle is my favorite Pink Floyd album
Ben Ackley mine too
Really? Echoes alone is a masterpiece, but the remaining tracks didn't stand out to me as much.
"Fearless" is a wonderful song and it's absence form Pink Floyd's "Echoes" compilation was puzzling, especially considering some of the 80's/90's crud that made the cut.
Meddle is one of their best, but in my opinion to put it above Animals, The Wall & Dark Side is just absurd.
I know this albums kind of overrated but my favorite is the wall
Fun fact about Meddle
Floyd actually started writing and demo-ing a song called 'The Dark Side of The Moon' during the Meddle sessions, the song wasn't finished in time and so was moved to their next album (though they then were tasked with created a soundtrack that would be Obscured by Clouds), the title was then decided to be the name of the album and the song was completed and re-named 'Brain Damage'
Great mix of LPs here from Ben Folds to Beatles Costello to Floyd.....so much here yet so much fun.Great vid take care and have a great week
+psykodj67 Thank you!
Oh man those pink floyd albums are so cool. Some of the best of all time
Pink Floyd - Animals is a awesome album. Great vinyl finds.
+Blake L thank you
Lots of surprises in this episode (meant as a compliment). Love the Floyd. Animals is a special album
Love it:)
+TheMooch255 awesome to hear
most of Animals were tracks that were cut from Wish you Were here
+Ryan Wehr I didn't that, that's really cool
Ryan Wehr Not true.
The Cure is low key one of the best bands of all time. Standing on the Beach is a great comp, but just about everything they put out is really good.
+joebowles06 agreed
Keep both moons
And yes listen to the album
Fun Fact: The cover of Meddle (if you open the thing up and look at the outside) is a drawing of an ear underwater, rotated at 90° to the left.
Ben Folds Live is magic. Dude has such fun energy.
+jdubtxn oh yeah, nice
I may owned that Beatles for Sale Album! Sold it back in 1988 in a used record store back in Libertyville Illinois called Dog Ear Records...I bought it back in 1983 in the Philippines and took it with me when I immigrated to the US in 1985! Спасибо за тёплую ламповую атмосферу! 💡

By far their great works were when they were on IRS Records. Their style changed after they made the switch to Warner Bros. All of the IRS are the perfect set.
So happy to see you have something from The Cure another favorite band of mine.
One of my favorite bands to:)
+Marco Gomez They are the best.. IMO
Frank Mcqueen yep:) i have dark side of the moon on viynl
+Marco Gomez haha, I know, flipping through this batch makes me smile. I plan on doing more Floyd for sure

I say keep both versions of Dark Side of the Moon
+My Urban Exploration awesome
On further inspection, I noticed my US copy cover had some water damage at some point, so I'll be keeping the Dutch pressing
The Beatles Hey Jude album was released in early 1970 and offered fans a chance to have some of the songs released originally on 45's to be on one album. The cover of *Meddle* is of an ear when you un fold it. Strangely enough, I also just purchased *Yessongs*: 2 Hours long. Has all of *The Yes Album*, *Fragile* and *Close to the Edge*.
+Adrian Lackey that's funny. Yeah it's a trippy looking ear
Only recently discovered your channel and I really enjoy it. I know it's not vynil but once you've listened to Echoes off Meddle a few thousand times, you MUST watch Pink Floyd Echoes live at Pompeii 1971. It will change your life.
Animals was my first CD purchase, back in 1985. Probably my favorite Floyd album too.
Great additions. I have future shock on CD and love it.
+Trish Mullins thank you Trish

Thank you. I think I will keep both for now. I'm looking forward to Animals
"everyday i write the book" is the greatest song ever. genius.
+max lundqvist it is great
Clear vinyl looks sick!
+JoshPotz it does indeed, but the only drawback is it's really hard to see the track bands if you want to play a particular track
You are a very likable chap. Keep it up please
I just picked up Pink Floyd's Animals as well! Phenomenal record. Love the channel dude!
+Derrick Pemberton thank you, I can't wait to dive into Animals myself
Chocolate is my favorite kind of music platform as well.

The Wall doesn't really do anything for me and it's one of my least favorite Pink Floyd albums. But if you're really into it, it's a score for you.
I have a German pressing of floods animals
Keep both pressings of DSOTM....no doubt.
On further inspection, I ended up keeping the Dutch pressing, it was in much better shape overall
+Vinyl Rewind I keep em all. I have several copies, and CDs, of Beatles LPs and :45's. It's crazy but I enjoy it.
Hey thanks for stopping by!
Vinyl Rewind You should do "Licensed to Ill" for the next review. Its 30th anniversary was about a week ago.
wow, it's already 30. crazy
I took my extra pressings of dark side to the Record shop. As you said " great art work" put that prism out, and it sells its self. I feel extra copes are preventing someone els from enjoying it. Always have two copies :)
+Ryan Wehr That's true too, record shops can hardly keep copies in stock
LOVE Murmur. Easily my favorite I've heard from R.E.M. Armed Forces is also really awesome.
MEDDLE IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM EVER AND ECHOES IS MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME
great album
You & I are kindred spirits.
I agree wholeheartedly on both accounts.
Man, I want a copy of Meddle and Animals, but they're so rare and expensive now
Floyd needs to really get the whole back catalog rereleased ASAP!
+Danjoker just check discogs. each of those can be easily had in VG condition for around $20.
+Danjoker i got an excellent copy of meddle for 8 pounds in a record store lol
Mod Bonan So lucky
joebowles06 Will do
glad to see you channel growing
+carlos gutierrez thank you
I think you will like the Live album maybe more than the releases... Pink Floyd explosion - Meddle is definitely a good one. Murmur, Standing on the Beach - my junior high years...
+dixielandfarm you're dating yourself Kris haha.
Beatles 4 Sale is my personal Early Beatles Gem
(What i mean is that people will usually place one of the first Five albums very high)
Another great video mate. Some nice finds.
+Nick B thank you
With REM, the best is everything from Chronic Town to Document. Basically their IRS years. Yes, some later albums are good like Out of Time and Automatic for the People, but the early albums were a different breed. Especially check out Murmur, for my money the best they ever did.
Thanks for the rundown, somehow I own Automatic for the People on vinyl. I can't for the life of me remember where I found it.
If you're not strapped for shelf space , I'd probably keep both Floyd albums without giving them another thought . But , if you have a good friend that would enjoy the music , I'd definitely unload one or the other . Like the old show tune says , Make Someone Happy .
+mac churl Gotcha, I'll hang onto both for now but that makes a lot of sense
I once found a copy of the tour edition of Dark Side of The Moon on pink vinyl at an antique shop here in Australia. I really wish I had grabbed it
+Jack McCarthy oh wow, that's sounds amazing, too bad

nice
Murmur by REM is the only album of theirs I can listen to as a whole... Excellent album!
If you like R&B groups and artist, then you should check out :Xscape, Richgirls, brandy, Ideal and Special Ed
Hahaha "It's like a caterpillar" Yessongs is a killer live album
+Sindhu sweet, good to know
I Love Yessongs. On my deserted island list...
I have a good condition copy of yes songs it's a really good record
+Jack Shoplock awesome to know, thank you
This was my a huge first when I was in high school. First Yes album. First live album, and first three-album set. Still one of my favorite live albums.
Nice Floyd. Do you have any syd barret-era Floyd? I recently picked up Saucerful of Secrets for $10, great find.
sadly I do not, great find indeed!
The remasters sound amazing! :)
Was it on the US Tower Label or the UK Columbia Label? Because the UK pressing is extremely expensive, cheapest price on discogs is $400.
Beatles For Sale is my favorite out of all of those, but Dark Side of the Moon is good. I've never heard the Hey Jude album. I'll have to check it out.
+AJ Smith oh yeah, Hey Jude is worth a pick up. I don't think it goes for a lot
That cover of Armed Forces is weird. I'm pretty sure the original British pressing has the elephants on the front cover and the painting on the back. It's a great album. Oliver's Army is one of my favourites.
Yup, it was also a double 7" whereas the US pressing is just a 12" www.discogs.com/Elvis-Costello-And-The-Attractions-Armed-Forces/release/5312268
Great video and cool finds. I'd keep both of the pressings if I were you if you have the space that is.
+Jimmy M that's what I'm thinking
If I really love.the album I keep.different pressings of the same album. I got like 8 copies of kiss hotter than hell.
1:30 a Ritter Sport will be opened by folding the chocolate - it's a unique package. Was invented for the Olympics in 1972
Here can you see how to open ua-cam.com/video/0SaFuKPX03U/v-deo.html
About the Early Beatles cover, you're correct. And I have at least one copy of "Hey Jude" with "The Beatles Again" on the label.
+aldiakaroofus ah very cool
Nice vinyl haul! I have the 2002 repress of The Faint - Danse Macabre, but when my dog was a puppy she chewed up the cover pretty bad :/
+sailor_vinyl17 oh man, sad story
Y E S S O N G S
Can you do a review of pink Floyds the wall please:)
+tsaylorbeatle And Animals
Those Weird Guys yep:) love that album as well:)
+tsaylorbeatle yup
+Those Weird Guys you got it
Vinyl Rewind yay:)
Such a dope channel.
+WhoaNellyJake thank you
Who disliked?
You got chocolate on my vinyl! You got vinyl on my chocolate! Wait, what? LOL. Different pressings? Keep them both.
+Earhead Six haha :D
7:19 Don't thank Pink Floyd. Thank Hipgnosis.
Nice stuff got an original uk pressing of dsotm for 12 dollars
New subscriber, really enjoy the show.
+Richard Riley thank you for subbing
Meddle is awesome. Probably my favourite Floyd simply because it's so underplayed compared to Dark Side and Wish You Were Here.
There are two different covers for Costello's Armed Forces. The UK edition has the elephants on the front cover, and the image is full scale, like a framed painting. The original pressings actually folded out to reveal lots of different covers that you could rearrange in a new order!
You can check it out here...
wharferj.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/barney-bubbles-elvis-costello-armed-forces/
Great album from his prime.
+youmalty Dang, the UK edition is way cool and it doesn't go for much on Discogs, I may have to pick up a copy. Thank you for stopping by
Hi man. Some great finds there. How about reviewing the Human League's 'Reproduction' & 'Travelogue' albums. It would be great if you compared the UK & Canadian pressings of 'Travelogue', different covers & some differences in tracks too. Best wishes, see you man 😊
+Glenn Springthorpe I don't have those albums at the moment but I'll certainly add them to my list. thanks for watching
R.E.M. album has *Pretty Persuasion*.
+Adrian Lackey I didn't know that about Armed Forces. I knew about that Vee Jay debacle. Wasn't Hey Jude released worldwide, not just the US?
+Vinyl Rewind This should answer your question better than I could. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Jude_(album)
+Adrian Lackey got it
Oasis do tri fold records. You need to get on that and do a review of them! ;)
+Tom Leamon haha, I will. But I didn't know that, that's really cool
On Nate Baker's album, is there a website for him, interested in checking out his album.
+Paulina Angel Not sure but here's his soundcloud soundcloud.com/natebaker
Are you based out of phoenix? For Dark side I would keep whichever sounds better. I hear the Dutch pressings were better than the U.S. copies but that depends on condition.
+Ephraim Duran Los Angeles. I'll have to do a side by side comparison
+Matt H I didn't know that. Is it not part of the official Beatle catalogue? I don't recall off hand because I bought it with several other records.
+Matt H interesting, I'll have to check my copy,
Can you please do a review of Meddle?
keep the dark side of the moon that sounds best of course.
+pinkrudy I like your logic
I think you should open the Ben folds five lp. the best bands always sound better live eg. the who
Awesome Apple Records crate
+Chris Lauze thanks, I have two of them, they are legit but I'm not sure where they came from
Loving your videos in Alaska. Have you listened to Patrick Watson Love Songs For Robots on vinyl?
+John E. Tuck no I haven't but that sounds awesome
the r.e.m is the best
Would you ever consider doing Pearl - Janis Joplin or something by her?
+BullsEyeCrash I added your vote to my request list
+Vinyl Rewind Mobile Fidelity just came out with a 45rmp edition of Pearl and it sounds amazing.
+gale vincent nice, I didn't know MoFi were doing 45rmp pressings
They've put out most of Billy Joels albums as well as some Bob Dylans, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Dire Straits, Jefferson Starship, Greatful Deads and others. The ones I've bought so far have been really good. Expensive but worth it, if it's an artist you really love.
+gale vincent I absolutely agree with that. Totally worth the money if you love the album. Their masting is always top notch
Can u review Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds first album?
I have some Netherlands pressing (Springsteen, Poplice, Alan Parsons) and they are all great in terms of vinyl quality and sound. I would deicide by listening to the US pressing and the Netherlands one. I only have an Italian pressing of Dark Side and it sound very bad. It's in VG condition but the sound is bland with not much low end.
+Seb Lakefield interesting on the Italian pressing. I will do that probably after I clean them both before playing
Do you have any recommendations for websites or books for pricing vintage vinyl? Thanks.
Check discogs. It will give you the average selling price for just about any album out there. Just check your matrix number etched on the record and match that up with the album on the site to figure out what pressing you have.
+joebowles06 thank you
+Ginger Sjolander yup, Discogs is great. to a lesser extent you can use www.popsike.com/
Keep the 1979 Netherlands pressing. I think that ones cover looks so much better.
+Melih Vural thank you
+Vinyl Rewind btw does the two actual records have any difference?
+Melih Vural other than the catalogue number, I don't believe so
Are you gonna do vinyl reviews for Beatles For Sale & Hey Jude?
+Michael Regan I'll add those albums to my request list but I probably won't get to them for awhile
ok but abbey road will still be the next beatles review right?
+Michael Regan yes, Abbey Road will be first
Vinyl Rewind okee dokee
hey bro when you have time do a review on todd rundgren something anything album that a amazing album and good video as all way....
+ElCrab Sure, PM me or send me an email thevinylgeek@vinylrewind.tv
The song is the show's theme song cut up, here's the full version

+tsaylorbeatle I'm sure you'll find them, I just saw a copy of Animals at my local record vender but he wanted $30 and it had heavy ring wear
Vinyl Rewind OK:) ILL LOOK CAREFULLY
Can you do a review of tame impala's lonerism?
+Paco Méndez I'll add your vote
WAIT! Beatles for sale has a folding cover? my german press has a normal cover :/
+PassCookie interesting, I wonder if it's a later pressing
Not enough love for the masterpiece that is meddle in this comment section.
Can you do monkees stuff?
Fucking love Ben Folds
Where did you find that Apple Records crate?
+Joe Dee I don't know the full story, but they came from my friend's grandparents. I know at one point his grandpa was a music manager but I'm not sure if they got the crates because of that or the fact they loved the Beatles. Either way, the crates (I have two of them) are awesome
awesome
