Wrote to Dolores in the 90s a heartfelt letter because "to the faithful departed" shed so much light on war & pain it causes. I still have a "signed" photo sent to me in return from I guess their fan club. But I liked to pretend it was from her.
That’s really nice. It’s crazy now how celebrities will respond to people on social media or how we can just see what they’re doing on their Instagram stories, etc. I can only imagine girls in the past going crazy to have Elvis or Frank Sinatra hearting or responding to their Instagram comments lol.

Music is music, yes, but celtic voices are not found everywhere. Knew as an American teen listening to her for the first time, that here was a celtic voice not just in tone but in style. Think she definitely capitalized on that here in the states, as the interest in all things celtic was exploding.

I am glad you enjoyed this video. I do have many more recordings from this show and I have uploaded some of them, ones I can think of that are already uploaded include Paul Rodgers, Billy Bragg, INXS, there's probably more, but I have uploaded over 2000 recordings and it is getting difficult to remember what I have uploaded. These hosts do such boring interviews. She's so dynamic and amazing I can only imagine how tedious these were for her.
I always thought this song was about depression and bipolar disorder. Then taking the drugs to control it make you feel numb like a zombie.
It’s about killing innocent people without any thought feeling or compassion ... killing like a zombie kills - clear in the lyrics.
It's blatantly about the troubles in Ireland.
