Yes, super liberating words to live by...and a great contrast to the more pervasive “finish what you started” which means people become afraid to start.
You have no idea how much validation your interviews give these seniors who have lived well. They are so ready to tell their stories after a lifetime of graciousness, wisdom and sense of humour, honed through life's ups and downs. Usually lives well lived are lived out in private, away from the limelight. Your interest and your time open up the flow of personal history, connecting them to humanity esp the younger generations. Giving them this platform at the near-end of their journey validates them in ways you will never understand. Well done young man.
Beautiful conversation. Yesterday I met a woman 89 years old in the grocery store. We ended up speaking for about 10 minutes. I wish I had gotten her name and number. I love hearing the wisdom from this generation. ❤
Same thing happened to me yesterday over the photocopier at the Warehouse print desk. I DID get her number and hope to develop a connection. We both play the piano & got chatting about the music book she was copying a piece out of. She gave it to me at the end of our conversation! I just love making connections like that, it's always happening to me because I talk to anybody. One of the joys of life.
This venerable lady in this video has some great wisdom and advice to follow. As she states the computer is our greatest tool for understanding BUT its most important derivatives like AI, blogs/sites (like pornhubs and Joe Rogan), Smart devices n robots do not lead to critical analysis as evidenced in the woke transformation, covid indoctrination or the rejection of virtue signaling from the likes like her pm trudo-e). Also her relationship with Art for 62 yrs. is unachievable today with feminism the new mantra and divorce and marriage rates in precipitous decline at their zenith/nadir. Also IMO looking at her historical perspectives - one wonders if she has ever cut/split/piled a cord of wood (in the frigid Yukon) for a fire to keep her warm as methinx she was very priveleged in her youth, and allowed substance/resources, etc. like a Trust fund child that few will ever have in the new Gen X who pays for her social well-being with generous state subsidies that are based on borrowing for their future. A lot of sage advice from this great human but do the calculus if you want to ever enjoy 90 solely dependent on her wisdom and legacy.
At 73 I appreciate her insight. She didn't get where she went by planning. Some people think 'follow your dreams' means have a big goal for the distant future. When she said listen to your gut, that's what it means. I look back at my life and some might say I've been impulsive. But when life offers you an opportunity it's often only available right now, when your gut is telling you what to do. If you're stuck with your head down scheming to reach a distant goal you'll miss those moments. One thing I differ with is her belief that staying social sustains us in old age. I'm an introvert and live alone in the bush. Making stuff, learning, enjoying nature, being an elderly piano beginner... these are what gets me up in the morning.
@@lshwadchuck5643 I can see her point but I think it's about staying active involved in life in one way or another. You can't live in the past, you have to be present because as they say That is a gift. Blessings to all
Nice you mention the thing about staying social... each person is so unique and their circumstances also that it makes always a very risky businesse to generalize.
I’m 36 and in the last few years I’ve been working hard on my mental and physical health and I have started living in a way that brings me joy, comfort and peace. I spend my time with my husband, children and dogs, going on nature walks, watching the sun set at the beach. We sit at home doing our own things, I’ll drink tea and crochet or read. We give each other the space to do our own things as well as spending time doing things together. It’s just us and I’ve never been happier. Social situations or meeting with friends etc is not for me. The only social media I have is UA-cam and it’s rare I interact. Life is fantastic this way for me. There’s something magical in being so happy and comfortable in your own company 😊
Your a great interviewer, you ask excellent questions. My grandmother passed at 98. She was independent and sharp. She had seen it all invented except the train. Born in 1902 she went thru both World Wars n in the second all three sons were drafted n served yheir country. All 3 survived. She went thru the Korean n Vietnam war. Saw from electricity to the space shuttle. Lived in the time of Thomas Edison n Henry Ford she had SO MUCH Life knowledge. She passed in year 2,000. That was her goal to see the turn of the centuary She did it ! She passed away 2 months later in February. What a life i miss her. Am 58 retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on.
True, It has never been easier to understand how to build your money after retirement than it is right now with the inflation, when you may study and experience a completely variegated market passively by employing a successful portfolio-advisor. The impacts of the U.S. dollar's gain or fall on investments, in my opinion, are complex.
People often overlook the value of financial advisors until they experience the downside of emotional decision-making. I recall a few summers ago, after a difficult divorce, when I needed help reviving my struggling business. I did some research and found a licensed advisor who worked diligently to grow my reserves, even amid inflation. As a result, my reserves grew from $285k to around $720k.
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Terri Swayne” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
She mentioned the word ACCEPTANCE twice ❤. She is so peaceful because she has learned to embrace whatever life throws at her. Old people with such profound wisdom.
Wonderful. I almost didn’t listen because of the title. It is titled being too busy! I’m 90 also and I do keep busy, exercise first a museum docent and a good social life. I listened and now understand the title. But for us 90 year olds, it is important to keep busy and live life to the fullest.
Is it ?!? A 90 years old lady says the opposite. Perhaps that’s the wisdom !? 😊 Stop, else you’ll end up unhappy or someone that lived a short life 😊😅 I’m just trying to clear the clouds a bit 😉
What a lovely woman. I love that you do these interviews and let people speak until they're done. It's so great to hear the answers to your questions because there's really nothing that can take the place of experience. Something tells me that most people wish they could share certain thoughts they've had with a lot of other people and this gives certain special older people a chance to do just that. I think it's great that she is fully mentally aware and is able to express herself perfectly. what a gift she gave to all of us by sharing her thoughts. I appreciate her and I appreciate you doing these interviews.❤❤
I am currently stuck in one task. Listening to this great lady made me zoom out and think: I'm doing the best I can, I will be OK. Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a wonderful woman.
It looks this is your calling in life, sharing elderly people's life experiences and wisdom with the newer generations, so we can listen and learn something from hem. Thank you keep the good work.....
I love the advice of taking advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, and if it doesn't work out, just accept and let that be and carry on to the next thing.
I’m 74 and I get a lot from these videos. I’m still very actively and I have friends, we usually have coffee after working out or shopping, we go to Happy Hour once a month. I remember my sister telling me that I was a quarter of a century when I turned 25 and I laughed and said that sounds so old. 😂
I think the most important message from this video for young people is to know that you are not a failure if your plans don't work out. When life pointed her in different directions, she accepted it... Say to yourself "well, let's see what THIS change is about." It is ok for life to be made up of trying different things and them not working out. Life is what we are missing when we are planning for it. "We plan, God laughs".
Too right. Acceptance of life’s curveballs and havjng the flexibility to deal with them is what’s necessary. No point in setting rules or objectives - Life will always outsmart you.
One of my friends is 92. He keeps busy, he is still drives his car, walks as much as he can. His most important advice he gives is to be social, join groups, eat well, go to church.
What a beautiful spirit she has. So much resonated, her humilty, her perspectives on living simply and socially and her thoughts of the ways she won in losing the election. Thanks for sharing ❤
Oh my, this was one of the best interviews like this I've ever seen. I'm over 40, male, and this wonderful lady touched every part of my heart. She is a beautiful person and has been blessed with love and wisdom. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is gold. We are fortunate to be able to learn from people like Ione. Fortunate also to live in the time of youtube where people all over the world can access this.
Amazing video A month ago, my partnership of five years came to an end. The choice to break up with the person I love is something that really gets to me. Even though it's all for nothing, I've done everything I can to get him back, and I couldn't imagine my existence without him. I've tried everything to stop thinking about him, but I still can't help but miss him and think about him often. I don't know why I am saying this here.
Saying goodbye to someone you love is difficult; I know this from my 12-year relationship ending. But I was unable to simply let him go, so I made every effort to get him back. I eventually sought aid from a spiritual counselor, who was able to help me regain his affection.
I just sought him up online thanks to your helpful information. remarkable I just checked Father Obah Eze online, and he's really genuine. Thank you again ❤
Becoming the person we needed during tough times is a powerful motivator for both personal and professional development. I wish everyone reading this the best of luck in achieving success!
I asked my 93 YO grandmother if she was satisfied with her life and her answer was “Oh yes! Sure.” She lived a very simple life, immigrated from England in 1955 as a 40 YO divorcee’ with an 18 YO son, no car, had her long worked for union garment worker pension robbed from her in her 60’s because of a bookkeeping error in her retirement dates yet she never dwelled on the hardships. She died shortly after. I miss her so much! ❤
She's such an incredible lady. Thank you for the life advice. I recently lost my grandma, and it hurts deeply, but I cherish the beautiful memories we shared.
Wow, she's amazing, highly intelligent, articulate and all of this at 90! I could only wish to live that long with a solid mind and body like her. Blessings to this dear woman soul
Isn't it interesting how billionaires often brainwash people into believing that chasing money isn't the path to happiness? The truth is, while money itself might not bring happiness, it does provide security and freedom. These billionaires are securing wealth for future generations, and one thing they all have in common is that they’re investors. It’s crucial for people to take their financial literacy seriously and consider smart investment like stocks, bond and real estate. It really can work for you and help you build the financial future you deserve.
That whole interview was a delight. How lucky are we to,listen to her. Mymother has just passed at 93. We need their wisdom and it’s sorely missed. I’m so grateful to listen to this lady, may God bless her for talking to us kids! 🙏🏼🕊💞
I deeply understood what I missed in life…. Life is not about accomplishments it’s about all about appreciations what we are missing day after day…. Achieving comes but missing won’t…
I’m 58 and I want to be like her when I grow up. So inspiring. In the old days seniors and children were respected and honored for their wisdom and creativity. Now they are put away in homes and schools bc we’ve lost our way and few people have time for them. It’s time to start paying attention. Thank you for this video. 😉 🙏🏻
@Sprouht Your work interviewing people continues to be interesting and insightful. Considering your articulate and respectful questioning (especially to the elderly) I am impressed you are only 25 ! Gives me lots of hope for your generation :)
I keep trying to force the life I want, but it never has worked out. Something always gets in the way and I have a habit of imediately seeing it as a personal failure. The past few months have been nothing but stress that has boiled over into rage at my perdicament. Her saying that life is a crapshoot and that we must keep trying has somewhat lifted me from my self-pity. Honestly this video gave me some room to breath that I desperately needed. Thank you.
Ione, you are truly an inspiration! Your resilience, grace, and wisdom shine through every word you shared. The way you’ve embraced change, valued community, and found purpose at every stage of life is absolutely remarkable. Your insights on love, respect, and adapting to life's transitions are lessons we can all learn from. Thank you for being such an extraordinary example of what it means to live a fulfilling and meaningful life!
What a beautiful soul is she! My grandfather just celebrated his 91st birthday in November. And I just celebrated 44 years *young. I’m so grateful that we still have the opportunity to glean wisdom from the older generations. It’s truly a gift to be able to sit down and simply listen to their stories. They have much to offer us.
I really enjoy this interview . She has a very friendly personality and a kind . God bless ❤️. People young and not that young in city’s are Individual . In the city no connection with the natural world Nature .
I subscribe to this respectful young man who introduced us to this incredibly inspiring lady. Her wisdom, flexible mind and humor are incredibly admirable. Period. Not 'for someone her age'. For anyone of any age. I wish you both endless blessings.
It feels so good to listen to someone from her generation. So much wisdom, so much to learn from them. She's such a beautiful soul. This is such a great interview. I will value it forever ❤ Thank you.
Interviews like this allow us to witness the ordinary heroes among us, and make me feel lucky to be alive and to have this opportunity to learn from this incredible young lady of integrity, perseverance and wisdom. Thank you to the host and the guest!
Beautiful conversation. Thank you for offering it. I started my day by listening to this wonderful lady, and felt humbled and great. This should be shown in schools…
I was able to make good decisions in life because I did what you are doing now. I talked to all the old folks I could and learned from them. And I observed what kind of life I have around me.
I love that thought, but I'm not sure it's true. There are several family members of mine who made it to old age and were none the wiser....just grouchy versions of their younger selves. I think committing to personal growth your entire life is the difference. And yes, persevering beyond obstacles is a huge part of that.
If I hadn’t lived to be 63 and met a woman who helped me understand something about myself I would never have grown. When you learn things in life you grow.
I love what you do! I went and visited my 90 year old Uncle in a nursing home a few weeks ago and had about a 2 hour talk with him I have learned so much from that visit. He had a very busy and active life and was not afraid to take a chance. My dad on the other hand was the very opposite, it explained a lot on why my dad compared me to my uncle. A person can learn so much from this age group. Listening to someone that’s done a lot in life can open your eyes to what life can be and maybe should be. 😊
I Am a city mouse. I meet people & love them. I always have something to share like poems in scroll form. City or country, people love them. In cities, it’s easier to meet and interact with more people. Technology is great, yet it’s still up to us to get out, right. What works for this amazing lady is not necessarily what works for me, right? Her sharing is magnificent & appreciated.
I loved Ione! (and I love you too for choosing these videos). Everything she said that she had lived and wasn't just a lot of nice platitudes with no experience is GOLD. Too many people spout "wisdom" with no flesh and bones on it. She and others like her are the real thing...I'm 80 years old and getting realer every day. Thank you for your work.🥰
You have no idea how much this mean to me ,,,thank you so much for interviewing her , thank you so much for sharing her wisdom asked the right questions , she is such an inspiration. Thank you … thank youzzz
Hello 👋 how do you make such weekly amount?? I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God's.
Elizabeth Regina has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of life's with her crypto experience.
Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
She is so right about small town living! Knowing your neighbors and members of your community is a wonderful thing. Life in big cities is *not* the norm. The isolation despite huge crowds is real, and it's heavy. Too heavy for most.
I'm retired at 27, went from Grace to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife and 35k biweekly and a good daughter full of love ❤
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Claudia Ann Brandon, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Claudia Ann Brandon is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
A pleasant experience just to listen to her point blank answers, no lengthy stories , refined answers every word making sense. Would love to meet her once in person. Thank you for interviewing her.
I'm saddened when I visit my friends house and everyone is in the loungeroom but they're all too busy scrolling away. Put down the phone and talk to each other.
I love your channel, sometimes when I feel negative I need these videos to see through it and be reminded that it’s all about the little things, appreciation and love
I'm so happy I made the best decisions by having a good investment, Recently I was able to acquire my third house even as a single mom at 42 and I believe if things keep going well I would retire early…
Congratulations dear. You're doing well for yourself, I'm 48 and my financial life is in a mess. Any great tips would go a long way in shaping my life. I want to buy my own house, that's a big flex
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear that you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Jihan Wu you're such a lifesaver

I’m 108 and this young lady is spitting facts.
108 and still now how get on line and leave messages. That’s impressive

That was *The Best* interview. She is such a honest, wise, and loving person. Her advice on life was spot on.
She is full of grace along with timeless wisdom
Thanks for your effort to make this video
I think the most important message from this video for young people is to know that you are not a failure if your plans don't work out. When life pointed her in different directions, she accepted it... Say to yourself "well, let's see what THIS change is about." It is ok for life to be made up of trying different things and them not working out. Life is what we are missing when we are planning for it. "We plan, God laughs".
Too right. Acceptance of life’s curveballs and havjng the flexibility to deal with them is what’s necessary. No point in setting rules or objectives - Life will always outsmart you.
I wish l had heard this sooner. I'm afraid it is too late for me.
This is the kind of lady that every kid should have had as a mother or Grandma.
One of my friends is 92. He keeps busy, he is still drives his car, walks as much as he can. His most important advice he gives is to be social, join groups, eat well, go to church.
Wonderful woman, these interviews with old wise people are priceless.
thank you!
This was a beautiful and wholesome video ❤. We really do need to listen to our elders more as they have so much wisdom.
I recommend everyone to find the book titled The Elite Society's Money Manifestation, It changed my life.
What an amazing wise woman!!! I wish more people in the world would be like her and we would live in a much better place!!!
It's interesting! How can I contact a spiritual counselor most efficiently, and how did you find one?
Father Obah Eze is a wonderful spiritual counselor who has the ability to bring back your ex.
He can assist you; he is Father Obah Eze, and he possesses immense powers.
I just sought him up online thanks to your helpful information. remarkable
I just checked Father Obah Eze online, and he's really genuine.

She's precious and has confirmed so much for me..need to follow my intuition and go where I feel I belong ♥️
Same here
Her last counsel is the golden rule.Fascinating lady.❤🎉

Please elaborate. I'm curious to see where you're going with that thought.
I really like that! Is not about accomplishments but appreciation. I think you've nailed something there. Thank you, I will try to remember that!

She is asking, “How much of that is going to get cut?” This shows her humility and wisdom. Great message.
I was able to make good decisions in life because I did what you are doing now. I talked to all the old folks I could and learned from them. And I observed what kind of life I have around me.
what a strong, spiritually sound, beautiful woman. God bless her
Beautiful wise lady. I'm sure she has a good relationship with God.

Please someone help her publish more of her speeches on UA-cam! I would watch every video! What a wonderful and soulful being she is. Thank you.
Wisdom is the payment we receive for perseverance.
Well said.
I love that thought, but I'm not sure it's true. There are several family members of mine who made it to old age and were none the wiser....just grouchy versions of their younger selves. I think committing to personal growth your entire life is the difference. And yes, persevering beyond obstacles is a huge part of that.
@@jm7804 caveat, one must want wisdom to receive it.
@@Sprouht thanks
Thank you for your work.🥰
Thank you so much!!
Follow your dreams don't live for someone else. Be you God created you for a reason
I’m 41 and learned a lot by listening. Beautiful lady. Good job 👏
Thank you for your work, wonderful guest, it was a pleasure to touch the wisdom of this beautiful lady. I wish her good health❤
You have no idea how much this mean to me ,,,thank you so much for interviewing her , thank you so much for sharing her wisdom asked the right questions , she is such an inspiration. Thank you … thank youzzz
She is so grounded with reality. Amazing lady 🙌
It's unbelievable that she has such an informed view on something like AI and computers. Respect and love to her if she ever gets this message!
I'm glad you made this video it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $34k monthly and a good daughter full of love..
Hello 👋 how do you make such weekly amount?? I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God's.
Yes,Thanks to Mrs Elizabeth Regina Nelson's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Wow! I'm kind of in shock that you mentioned the expert, Elizabeth Regina Nelsen. What a coincidence!!
Such a wise and beautiful lady. May the Most High Creator continue to bless her.
To everyone reading this: we may never meet, but I wish you happiness, luck, and good health. Take care of yourself always!
Her words speaks the basics of life. RESPECT but respect has to be earned!
This is one of my favourite channels ❤
She’s wise and very sharp! I pray we all make it to this level
The wisdom absolutely shines through this lady
She is so right about small town living! Knowing your neighbors and members of your community is a wonderful thing. Life in big cities is *not* the norm. The isolation despite huge crowds is real, and it's heavy. Too heavy for most.
I had that for a few years in the Valley. It was incredible. But I've never experienced that before or since, sadly.
I'm retired at 27, went from Grace to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife and 35k biweekly and a good daughter full of love ❤
I'm feeling really motivated.
Could you share some details about the bi-weekly topic you brought up?
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Claudia Ann Brandon, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Claudia Ann Brandon is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Wow 😱 I know her too
Miss Claudia Ann Brandon is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
Can't imagine earning $85,000 biweekly, God bless Ms Claudia Ann Brandon , God bless America 🇺🇸♥️
I started my trade with $5000, and in the space of
one month I got credited with $22,000. It remains my biggest win for the year 2024
62 years with someone is very recommendable 👏👏👏 🙏

A pleasant experience just to listen to her point blank answers, no lengthy stories , refined answers every word making sense. Would love to meet her once in person. Thank you for interviewing her.
BEAUTIFUL interview. Thank You!
Aw, I am in tears listening to her! Such a beautiful conversation with immense advice! Thanks, man! You are doing a great job!!!
I'm saddened when I visit my friends house and everyone is in the loungeroom but they're all too busy scrolling away. Put down the phone and talk to each other.
She saw the person, not a criminal. She's sounds like a very kind person.
