Very smart suggestion because you are so right about how direct sunlight can fade and damage not only fabric, but wood, plastic, photos, and pictures. When you purchase high quality items you don’t want them to be damaged or faded from the sunlight.

A little tip: You should possibly avoid using metal for the pots and pans, otherwise you will scratch them and make the things more easily burned. I made the mistake back then and messed up my pans.

Oh yes! My bf let me decorate all the house! (aka this being low key you take care of thinking and the pressure of prepare our house for living) and all the responsibility too.
Girl i feel you, but many times we don't realize many things that are not right, and we let it pass, but doing that we settle our future with the person.
Make a schedule of chores at home assap, you both work, even if your work is from home. And set some day of the month for general and deep cleaning. Even with housemates this is the best thing to do, because if save you many discussions. Both of you leave on that space.

I reeeally really love the apartment series, I remember the first one I saw was when you were moving to the previous apartment so the moving process of the last one to this new one was really touching for me as I saw the process in the last one, I really like how this new apartment is starting to look like and I'm suure the result at the apartment tour will be amazing!!! I totally loved the lamps and the minimalistic but kinda retro feels it gives to the spaces, I'm so excited to see the next episode!

In the netherlands, the ikea test actually starts after you left ikea and you start to build shizzle. Because there the 'no! you should do it like this!' often makes people walk out of the house😂 We also have two others. The moving (you can probably get why) and the traveling gone wrong (when you seen them in their worst kinda). If you pass all three tests, you can kinda conclude that this relationship is a good one

Tip about the shelve section:
The previous place I lived in had a narrow hallway, but my roommate bought a "shoes cabinet", in this case the Hemnes one from IKEA (we used for other stuff than shoes, though). It is almost half the width of the Omar one. It is also *~white~*, so barely takes any space visually either. IKEA has other shoe cabinets too
I loved this so much, I didn’t skip a second definitely worth it! Can’t wait to move to my mini apartment soon! Thank you for documenting this 💜
