Yes, I’m with you about the mattress. In fact, every time I move into a new place ...I buy a new vacuum, new towels, new carpet, NEW MATTRESS etc. I don’t bring to a new place anything that has collected sweat or dust from the previous one.
The way you see the little things in life is so different and comforting, like who would've thought changing bed sheets could mean something so deep.

I absolutely love moving house ! I've been moving house a lot as a kid and still today a move is something really exciting for me : you get to go through your stuff and get rid of the useless, also you get to discover and adapt to a new place,... I just love this feeling, it's like "reborn" somewhere new !

I recently moved with my new bf and totally relate with you on the new mattress comment... absolutely mandatory! By the way: I also started packing everything individually with wrapping paper and and the end there was no time; still lots of things to pack and ended with not wrapping at all and was all messed and mixed haha... we virgo's suffer so much!

Btw where I live you can always ask in store if they have leftover bubble wrap or boxes, most of the time they give them away for free.
And also I think moving is stressful when you also have to work at the same time and can't consecrate only on the move

When I was taking korean lessons our teacher explained the 짜장면 thing. She said it is because when you are moving there is so much to do and things are not ready so it's easy to order food and way back, there was not much food that could be delivered and the cheapest option was 짜장면. Maybe this is just another theory but that's what they told us hahaa

Omg I actually totally get what you mean about the mattress! That's why when my fiance got our own place together, we decided to just get a whooole brand new mattress instead of taking one of our old ones. That aspect is very important to me as well!
