Over the years I’ve been in a number of these flat roof places in Manchester, Salford and Cheshire area some daunting and some really good places for a drink..sure I’ve seen this pub on a documentary on UA-cam 😂 great video as always pal 10/10 👍😀
You are right Dave, these pubs are often the focal point of a community. Raised on a large council estate in Leeds, flat roof pubs were the norm, everything from wedding do's, funerals, parties, darts and dom's leagues. Sadly, they are slowly disappearing nowadays. Great video as always matey
Nice video. I came across the story about The Heron on UA-cam a while back. A boat in the morning reminds me of a saying we have in the American south when yankees from the north come down here and start telling us how to do things. We say "Delta is ready when you are," referring to the airline. I quite like brown ale myself. Cheers, Dave.
🎶"Flat Roofed Pubs make the rugged world go round!" 🎶I've heard of Light & Bitter or a Dark & Bitter but not one with brown ale. Another interesting and entertaining piece, Cheers #Disco
