Another good video Dave, I had forgotten about the mixed pint. I first tried that in Carlisle and I used to get a nice pint down in Birmingham near the old NCR Building. That's one I need to try when I get over to Douglas. 👍

This video is yet another winner! The mix looks & sounds fantastic, and judging by your first quaff, quite refreshing as well. Must try one should I ever visit the IOM and make it to Albert's. Although there are surely ways to brew a mild/bitter, it probably would not taste as good or have the same characteristics of mixing / blending separate beers since that's a bit of an art form itself. Lastly, I happen to be married to a lovely woman who shares Mrs B's sentiments, 🤣🤣Both Gene Autry as well as Aerosmith sang folk songs about that very subject. Cheers mate!🍺
Yes the Bushys Bitter in Albert n Old Market still £3 and as yet no plans to increase. Nearest Holts pub near Rawtenstall will be Wyldes in Bury..u can get steam train there. Some good boozers in Rawtenstall/Ramsbottom etc, cheers Al

Hard to get a pint of mix nowadays in Manc Land as Mild is hard to find,though from 12th April to 19th Stockport and South Manchester Camra have the Mild Magic Challenge so will be plenty about. In Holts pubs now if you ask for pint of mix you get half Diamond and half Crystal Lagers,OH how times have changed.
