if Jay hadn't flunked elementary physics then he would know white light is composed of all the colors of the rainbow...

Audiojack was not occupied... As soon as he plugged in his earphones it worked - i don't know why the fuck that would cause a problem...
Could be an audio device issue. It's possible that the default audio device ran at an unsupported clock rate, bit depth, or was otherwise not supported by the game.
Like when you try to run GTA SA without Audio Device attached to your PC, It would say that you must have one plugged
In fact, many programs use the audio clock to control the program flow.

@@TheDrakOre , also thank you for Pointing out.
When rgb has gone to far, it tries to kill your components!
Is it me or has ever pc part manufacturers gone completely mad with the rgb hype or what?
The little toy fan on that Mach cooling attempt earned my sub
Just use liquid nitrogen 🤦♂️
The one "clickbaity" video that I'm actually legitimately interested in
It’s not clickbait, the RGB was actually doing all of that
Nand is completely ok with 70. It's the controller can't handle high temp.
And it looks like something uncritical get shorted (probably still rgb), or it shouldn't be that hot just for led.
I think it's the opposite, controllers get higher temps than the nand, they are most definitely fine with 70/80°c
I was thinking the same thing. Something in the RGB setup is driving the LEDs way too hard and thus generating excess heat.
I was looking for this comment; yup, nand operates better with heat, its switching gets quicker. The controller though, yeah it needs to stay relatively cool.
You'd be surprised how much heat an LED can produce. Just the standard RGB strips and the like in most PC systems can easily get warm to the touch, and the LEDs in these can be as much as an inch apart. That many LEDs that close together enshrouded in a case that I presume is plastic? Nightmare scenario.

Jay, point the outer edge of the fan at the heat source. The center has minimum flow, outer edge has maximum. Let it blow against your hand to judge flow. Love your Channel
You were right. I did not guess that you were gonna have LED's overheating an SSD. Wow.
Maybe put the PSA about this SSD in the video title, instead of the clickbait title though.
who the hell thought 75 LEDs on a 2.5" drive was a smart idea.
Thanks for the helpful video but please LN2 cool it, that video would be so interesting to watch. Jay and Kingpin LN2 RGB SSD 😏
I really enjoy your troubleshooting videos, they are both funny and very instructive.
Steve bolts AIO's to gpu's. jay just did an SSD. I'm subbing to the right channels. ;}
Really LEDs on an SSD... really?
Well, that is just stupid! Oh well, product versions 1.0 right...
This is like the 3rd or so ssd I've seen with rgb.
It is okay as a design element. Although I do not think it is necessary that it can be seen from space.
Hmmm, usually LEDs make everything faster ;)
A regular SSD can at it´s highest reach over 40 degrees celsius when under load although dunno what is the highest ever healthy temp before being harmful for the device.
Search for the Aorus RGB M.2 SSD tho
2015: we finally solved the ridiculous gpu and cpu overheating problems by using smaller nodes
2019: hold my beer
Tony Stark called and wants his new advanced Arc Reactor back ;)
This is why you are a respected voice in the community! Thank you for letting us know Jay.
Respected voice? Seriously? Maybe he's good at cooling but when it comes down to technical stuff, he struggles. For example, nand doesn't "dislike" being warm (it actually works better if it's hotter rather than extremely cool) but the controller does. What's struggling and throttling is the controller, not the memory.
Recommend this drive to squeakers in your game. You'll never see them again :D
this is why my pc is as dark as it can be :P i dont want unicorn barf in my rig
I turn every light off I can. Trying to sleep when your room is lit up light a spaceship is annoying. Even my power button is too bright.
@@paft Bro obviously the rgb's go off when you sleep your comp
@@OrganicGreens Bro, obviously I mean when I sleep not the computer. If it's on during the night then i've left it doing something.
@@paft yes but I sleep my comp when I sleep is what I mean. If you are downloading something or rendering you can turn off the leds...
@@OrganicGreens No shit.
My phone legit just froze and 1:31 lmao I laughed my a** off
