your videos are produced/explained tremendously for learning these jumps and others. keep it up man we need more content like this from people about jumping!
I will make it my mission to finish jump_apex at least once before 2023. I can't even finish JA2 hard maps yet, but given how much I'm enjoy practicing this, I think I'll make it. Thanks for the vid. Edit: I made it to jump 8 in 30 minutes and got stuck. And so the grinding begins.
Hello, i really enjoy your videos and you inspired me to get to jumping again! 1 tutorial id really appreciate is a tutorial to get more powerful wallshots and left wallshots as well as alternating wallshots, a similar format to the wallpogo video. Thanks!
Thanks, that's awesome to hear! In the short term I don't have any plans for that, but I am going to make a Jumpthrough for Hard Walls somewhat soon, where I'll go into some of that and how it relates to those jumps. I'll keep in mind that videos focusing on a technique like that are a useful format. Wallshots range a huge spectrum of difficulty and the advice you need changes based on your current skill with them, so it's hard to pick a skill range to focus on, but I'll keep that in mind. Probably roughly t4 level is where it'd be most useful, but there's certainly much more to explain about wallshots to improve them even for people who've beaten koro.
@@Firestabber hard walls contains a lot of these types of jumps so that would be much appreciated, and a quick tip that is unrelated to wall jumping for you is yo use the fakelag command net_fakelag x to give yourself ping on your own server where you have 0 ping by default
I used to play on dedi central every day. That lasted for about 6-9 months as I learned to beat the entire map, eventually playing the whole thing through each day. Then I started playing some harder maps on Lounge to keep pushing myself. Some time during that I moved and had abysmal internet for a while, so I played offline (most of this channel's stuff was made during that time, it took forever to upload vids lol). Recently I've started a new job and got good internet again. I've been pretty busy, so I've spent less time than I'd like back on JA servers or making new videos, but once I'm settled those things should start to pick up again :)
@@Firestabber sounds good, take all the time you need, IRL is more important after all. i also figured out why i never met you, because you play on US servers, i only play on EU, so its no surprise we never met haha anyway your videos helped me understand sync speedshots and im very grateful for that. i hope there will be more jumpthroughs in the future because damn are they well done! from one jumper to another, i tip my hat
jumpacademy.tf/maps and tempus.xyz/maps both are great resources to find jump map downloads. You can find Apex through both of them. You want a .bsp in your maps folder, so if you get a .bz2, you'll have to extract it first. Sorry for a late reply, but I hope this helps!
I'd like to make videos that could help more than the eight people who can currently beat the map. Definitely not any other reasons I couldn't do that... :P
Enjoying these

criminally underrated channel. never met you on JA though, do you regularly play on the dedicated servers?

I played this map for almost 7 hours and on the last jump the game crashed, very fun!
UPDATE: I got to 19 after about 2.5h, then to last at about 4 hours, and then at 6 hours it crashed again. :'(
can you send me the download for this map?

Dunno. I should probably ask people what they want me to do next. Kuna? Canyon?
