    That smile when the overdrive kicks in!
    This or the Cobain Jaguar?

      I have to say that sad sound you get out of the Cobain Jag is what made me want to play guitar in the first place... A bit worried about the 24" scale though

    Great video as always! I'm about to get my first guitar ever, and ma mate ofers 200 bucks for this beauty. Do you think this one would be dicent choice? I mean I don't have tast or preference about music I would play. So I have to think about versatility. You think this one can cover for many type of music?

    Great demo Mike. Beautiful playing, and a great variety of tones - just love it. In fact it's convinced me to buy one in Wine Red, which is arriving on Monday. Hopefully in a few years i'll be able to play with your finesse! Love the hat too!!! Very cool vid, Many thanks, Mac

    Hey Mike have you done an Epy Casino demo?
    I traded a Garrison 700 acoustic and an Ibanez 120 for a brand new cherry red Casino, which I've been jonesing for ever since I heard Revolver, and every other album the Beatles used the Casino on. Awesome guitar, and a surprising range of styles can be played with it.
    Just as a joke I plugged into my 15W Line 6 cough! cough! crap! cough! Oh excuse me
    I had the "Crunch" almost dimed out and the "metal" also and played the opening Revelation riff!! Freaking awesome! Damned near identical, straight in no pedals!!
    After I heard that, I went on and played some Metal - Holy Diver and Rainbow in the Dark by Ronny J Dio, and was blown clear out of my ever living skull!!!
    Jack

      A used Ibanez AS120 alone is worth twice the price of a used Casino, so I don't see why you had to throw an extra Garrison in. The way I read it, they ripped you off.

    Hey have you ever thought of describing the guitar within the video, I would really like to hear your opinions on the guitar as you play.

      drowninginguitars Don't do it. It is unbearable watching people blabber, blabber, blabber in videos to tell you what you can read in two sentences about a guitar. Videos are for taking it through its paces so we can see and hear how it plays. Which you are doing very nicely here, thank you very much. NO yapping, PLEASE.

    • @drowninginguitars
      @drowninginguitars  9 років тому +1

      Glinda Quadling Yeah, I hear you. A lot of demo videos are just commercials in disguise. Companies pay for the videos, sometimes over $1000. And that just tricks the consumer. We've always felt the guitar/effect/amp should be an honest representation and let the viewer decide.

      I know that happens; however that's not was i was suggesting, but merely that the player, could say, for example,"This is a 1958 Gibson Les Paul, all original, with a rose wood fret board..."
