Ive listened to this song over 200 times since you composed it. Still one one of my favorites and I come back to it everytime I need to listen to some good tunes

This is his best cover in my opinion. He is one of the most impressive guitarists I have ever heard especially for his age ! Look out Tommy Emmanuel !!

Indeed his best cover. I would suggest seeing his cover of Locked out of Heaven. The right hand skill he possesses is out of this world
Alan & Tammy Hayes - I think this is just medium difficulty from SHJ, it's all left hand work but the right hand is nothing much. Takes practice. His other pieces with difficult right hand movements are tougher for me.
I understand what you are saying and a very good example of the right hand movement is his cover of Locked out of Heaven. But what is difficult about this piece or any "classical-hybrid" pieces like this one is not the hands, is the expression. Highlighting the right notes to express the full spectrum of the pieces. Using accelerato, forte, meso piano etc.
His right hand technique is a hybrid of Kotaro Oshio's Techniques and Flamenco techniques. Search on youtube Kotaro Oshio's strumming and nail attack techniques and search for Basic Flamenco techniques. This should give you a good foundation to learn his pieces.

Sungha is truly incredible, but what makes him even more special is an ability to memorize all those notes!
I know a thing or two about music and the guitar and I can say that memorizing the song (Notes) is the EASLY the easiest part of playing it. Belive me!

Sungha Jung, i must say i've been watching your videos for a while now, and your guitar skills from a few years ago until now have drastically improved. Phantom of the Opera is by far one of the best you have released, and it is a step above the rest. You put so much passion into this piece, it puts other renditions of this song to shame. I imagine that Sungha Jung picked up this song in a few days. When I learned it, it was a few weeks of playing it for hours everyday to memorize it and get it performance ready for bars and open mics. I think that's what makes some guitarists truly great. To be familiar enough with your instrument to learn difficult things quickly and concisely
Did you memorize it from tabs? Can you tab it? or can you at least give me the tuning?

I partly agree with you. But how long it takes a person to learn a song does not determine whether he is a very good musician or not. You took longer to learn it, so what? You still learned it, and throughout all those times you didn't give up even if you felt like it. So good job to you
