Maximum achievable Block is higher than 83%. Base 75% + 4% from Gladiator's "Violent Retaliation" + 3% from "The Anvil" Amulet + 1% from elevated Elder or Warlord Gloves +1% from corrupted Shield Implicit = 84%. And there might be more sources i don't know from the top of my head, like Snythesis implicits.

I studied Mechanical Engineering and attended Thermodynamics classes so have a pretty good idea what Entropy is. I don't think 'System of Entropy' is a good term to explain the Evasion mechanic. I guess we could say 'Balanced Blitz', like, if we were attacked multiple times in a short period (Blitz), we would evade a fair share of the hits (Balanced).

I could watch this 20 times and I will get one shoted by some random BS regardless
I used to think it's random BS when I had like 300 hours played. Now at 3 000 hours it feels less random, less BS. One thing I realized is that this game isn't just an action game in which you react to what you see. Overall high speed gameplay and lack of visual clarity make it impossible. It's very much a knowledge-based game in which you have to anticipate, predict, prepare, build and reactions in the moment are just an icing on the cake.
@@rafadudek3040 While I broadly agree that you avoid most "random" deaths by building better and having more game knowledge instead of trying to rely on reactions, there are definitely random BS deaths. Not even just talking about bugged stuff like Karv getting pasted by Sirus's invisible textures+suck into meteor on relog, but mostly GGG designing monsters that are more dangerous to fight than they are to just run by because they seemingly can't figure out how else to counter power creep.
@@Sara_Feingold They're fortunately figuring out the power creep problem right now in 3.15 :)
@@rafadudek3040 Cutting down damage output and increasing mana costs/reservation probably isn't going to be a real change, in my estimation. It'll probably just punish people who relied on alpha striking as a substitute for learning how to play well.
If GGG had also overhauled monster designs, I might have more faith, but just slapping more HP onto the campaign isn't a real solution ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think you're mixing up the Granite and Basalt flasks Ziz. Granite is still unconfirmed what the change will be, but the Basalt flask is confirmed to be 20% more armor.

How important is wicked award to es builds, or can it be compensated for with reduced regeneration start?

So why isnt chieftain ever a top tier hc pick when he gets 15 percent phys to fire, free endo charges and 50 percent bonus life regen on hit? You can easily hit 78 percent fire res on the tree snd hes super easy to geat because u can ignore fire res on gear.

Let me sum this up : Go gull glasscannon because in the end you'll get one-shot anyway, regardless of how much you invested in your build.
Even more true after the manifesto.
I'd rather get oneshot by a sirus mob than a white mob though... Maybe a fiberglass cannon at least?
@@rafadudek3040 Yeah, glasscannon is a bit of a meme, of course, you're right you should try to get some defenses layers, but i'm a bit sad that they didn't adressed monsters' powercreep in the patchnote.
Nerfs don't bother me, but it should be for the two sides, not always the players :/
@@DrTournevis well when we get new items,infleuenced items, new support gems, and such isn’t that just power creep in the player direction? So now only the player gets nerfed. I don’t believe the monsters need a nerf at the moment. Maybe some specific attacks but overall this seems right
