I know, even as a layman, how important it is to the process, but I greatly appreciate how much time you dedicate to stepping back, and looking at the thing you're creating
You are a master of the craft, sir. This chair is a work of art made all-the-more beautiful by it’s practical use. I hope whoever owns it truly appreciates the meticulous labor that went into making it.
Beautiful work. It is a masterpiece. Also, thank you for showing from the design sketch to how you make your joinery and blending in the curves. I learned a lot from watching your process. Salute!
Korean top skills as ever, just miss the music, take care, enjoy, cheers from old chap from Luxembourg 🇱🇺 europe at the end I loved the assistent, important for great men and of course your wife
A phenomenal work, bringing together excellent design with great sculptural skills and tremendous attention to detail. Congratulations! You are an inspiration
Hi 👋, truly a work of art, thank you for sharing your skills, I am restoring a old moulin, in France, I am hoping to make a Sam Maloof sculptured rocking chair next year. It is a great shame that a lot of the skills are disappeared over the years , I wish you all the best for the future, look forward to seeing your next piece of art sculpture, Phil from the moulin France.
Does the dovetail joint, being that thin at its thinnest section, strong enough? I know it's wood glued anyway afterwards, but was it intentionally done that thin and is it as strong as a thicker dovetail could be?
The thick size is stronger, but it could be little tacky when it comes to only design, so need compromise between strength and beauty. Anyway "much" stronger than screws and domino.
Incredible work, you must have spent so many hours carving. Are you keeping all your tapers and curves the same by eye? Do you have a method for making the curves symmetrical?
I really enjoyed watching your work. I'm a craftsman also, but this is the ultimate skill and craftsmanship, which pushes me to be better too. Thanks for that. Many wishes for good health and successful work. Greetings from Serbia
I love how tactile the surfaces are! Makes me want to run my hands all over it. It’s really nice to see craftsman not sanding and polishing the wood to death, and covering it with plastic. Those dovetails looked insanely difficult to layout. Keep doing what you do, Sir! Bravo 👏 If you lived in Hawai’i, you’d have a free assistant 🤙🏻
Absolutely love your videos and your work. This chair is gorgeous and an exquisite example of your talent. What is the name of the parallel layout tool you use around the 1:25 mark?
Dear Kobeomsuk your work is mesmerizing. Watching your videos soothes my soul. It is like meditation. I dont know how much closer one can bring wood making to art making. THANK YOU. Hope your inspiration flows and you keep producing what you enjoy and we cherish. ΜΠΡΑΒΟ ΡΕ ΦΙΛΕ!!!
Lovely chair with great lines, and I love the little touch with the brass "screws" to cover the holes of the screw slot. 11:09 How good are her CAD skills? 😉

Well said. It's one thing to make something useful, another to make something beautiful. To make something useful, beautiful is quite a feet.
Perfection. And a perfect example of why custom made chairs cost 10x what the dinning room table costs. Really amazing work.
Thanks~😀
That’s an elegant masterpiece. I really love the brass/wood plug. A detail probably never to be seen, yet it accomplishes the chair!
Thank you very much!
This is an incredible job! Dovetail in such a difficult place! Bravo!
Thank you very much!
For sure! Didn't realize until the closing shots that he cut them on an arc. That visual line is stunning.
영상이 깔끔하니 작업디테일을 다 보여주시네요. 열정이 느껴집니다

Where can I buy the design of this chair ?
Bit of a mind-bender when a compliment is audacious. Still, a compliment is a compliment, I suppose.

It’s what one would call simple elegance… I would love to try it out and sit on it… It’s hard to tell if it’s very comfortable.
That's so beautiful how many hours would you have spent on this chair.?
Would you ever consider replicating another one with a CNC machine.
Thanks. I don't remember how much time I spent, But I spent a lot of time. Also, If I have chance, I'd like to make chair with CNC.

Hola, una maravilla de silla. Te felicito 👍. Con que programa realizaste el diseño?. Saludos desde Venezuela.
