In this Wo Long Fallen Dynasty guide we will beat LU BU Easily, this is my own lu bu cheese method, it's not too abusive as you will still need to learn Lu Bu moveset in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty to be able to beat him. this wo long fallen dynasty lu bu character can be really tough and has 2 battle modes that we must overcome

@@user-sr6co1cr9x I’m not really sure if that’s a thing. What I did was travel to the village and respec via the old man. Then I traveled right back to where I was and grinded a bit outside the gate using the new build so I can get used to the play style.
This is the ONLY strat that put me within reach of a win on the first try. Still took me a couple tries cuz I got greedy but I finally did it. Amazing work!!! You got my sub. Thanks friend!

My personal tip I accidentally stumbled on yesterday….Super cheese mode use guan yus weapons unique attack it’s spamable and adds decent spirt damage as well as avoiding their attacks simultaneously if you’ve mild spirt sustain you can get about 4-6 off for. Fully negative spirt but around 300 damage per hit at +4 and not spec into anything other than water and 5 metal. At level 39 I’d say it’s even easier if I wasn’t pursuing the currently neglected water only build.

Another tip if you shut your game off when you right after you die you'll save all your morale levels

Thanks a lot, it made Lu Bu a pretty normal fight with the stone strategy. Also walking around near the battleflag before each try, killing a few enemys to boost your morale is very helpful. Btw: The tip with the 10 extra heals is a TOTAL game changer. I cannot believe the devs let this opportunity implemented for struggling players :-) Greetings and thanks again!

@@pishni259 You can easily farm loads of Dragons Cure Powder and take 10 of them into the fight. It is extremely helpful. There is a video on this channel about it as well. Have a good fight!

Thanks bro ! Elements is key. Infusing weapons with dual swords work great and it’s the only way i find to stagger him. Even with spells this fight is no joke
Definitely, I find even in Nioh elements were quite a big focus and it seems that's still the case here. Hope you're having a good time with the game
Wait for the higher difficulty and realize spells aren't the way to go anymore, much like nioh.
Enemies are more resistant to elemental damage, have more morale (even more resistant) while your magic is capped at 99.
You'll need so much investment in elemental damage for it to work, you'll sacrifice too many things for your own good.
I've never really done ng+ same game but where enemies are tankier and do more damage, I play these kinds of games to get away from that kind of scaling. (Edit spelling)

I tried to follow your video but using imposing slab does not do very much damage as what you did. Do I have to have morale 25 and same level as you for this to work ?

This build legit took lu bu from impossible to super easy, good stuff. Seems like one element is kind of the way to go for builds. I was running some weird mutli-element build and it didnt work nearly as well.
I think you can manage 2, but yes being as we can freely swap builds on the fly single element isn't the risk it might be in other games and let's you really hone in on each challenge
This worked, I finally beat Lu Bu under a pile of earthen ruble. I figured out how to block and deflect his attacks well enough, but without this tip I couldn't seem to do enough damage, earth slab for the win.

I actually found him easy. Only deflect and Parry. He is easier on the horse.
Funny thing is one of the later bossee is a genichiro ripoff

i started watching this and beofre half way into this guide i beat him on my own. I made sure i had 25 morale (save scummin or quiting the moment you die is an easy way to stay at 25). Using my cudgel i ended up getting him up against the wall (once hes off the horse) by the entrance, applied stone to my weapon and kept pressing square then triangle locking him up against the wall. I was using dual swords at first which had the highest attack/+value out of my weapons but the cudgel seemed to smash his spirit bar faster. not sure if cudgel actually has better spirit damage but it felt like it. good luck

I was doing no damage to this guy. Switched to this build and smashed him 1st try with this earth setup. Goodlooks. Considering sticking with this for the remainder.

How did you get it to work? I follow this guide but the imposing slab is barely doing much damage
@@nickywan123 do you have all your upgrade points added to “earth” for the build you use in the fight? Also, you need to do it when he is blocked: so, basically instead of hitting him with your weapon, you just use the imposing slab. I hope it will work!
@@zsolteee2576 yea I have all my points on Earth. Granted in this video, he’s over level 60++ and I’m slightly below recommend level 37.

@@nickywan123 Maybe it is your level, then? I must have been around 70-75 at minimum myself, as I was struggling with this boss, so kept going back to other missions. I also went in there with a max morale, you are right. Use the imposing slab even when he is stunned. That’s how it worked for me in the end, when I tried this approach.

How I beat him after dying several times to him. Was I then looked at the armor weapons and spells at my disposal. Found that my Wuhan Calvary Armor indeed had not only burn and flame damage plus accumulation. But negative status effects on enemies accumulation and duration enhancements. I'm running an Azula from last airbender build so yes I had mostly fire spells and damage. But I did find my enhanced defense spell from my game start and ice trap. Used both spells also after dying so many times I actually by reflex action blocked and parried his attacks. So try enhanced defense and ice trap spells see if that helps.
So... i was like... "Sure it will work only on this boss", but still wanted to try this build in general trough the game, my main build is stealth one to oneshot every regular enemy, but when i come to boss i change to this build. And... It demolishes every boss i encountered so far. I dont even do anything, just pop armor and spam the stone pillars. Parrying occasionally just to restore stamina... This is broken overpowered and i love it.

I may do a video on it but most of the time I think it's optimal to have a build for each stat on the first playthrough as it allows you to specialise. spreading points doesn't seem to be as impactful in my experience so far
I'd hardly call this cheese. Been trying this for 2 hours and still getting nowhere. That stone attack hardly ever connects. It's so long.

I used mostly ice build I beat him & went to sleep 😓
Now I’m able to get him to just below 50%. He has way too much HP it’s unfair.
He takes a lot of damage from most elements (apart from fire) I think the key here is elemental damage over physical as he seems quite resistant.

Unfortunately not going to do nearly enough damage in the latest patch. Same as any spell in the game. No matter how much points you put in any virtue.
40 earth virtue = 150 spell power not 300. They changed everything.

Yeah doesn't work at all. Even if I put all my points into earth which is 40 points, the spell does so little damage and it's hard to hit him because he's running around the whole time. I'm just trying to get good with a sword, because this makes 0 sense.

Beat it on third try... and came oh so close on the first try, with this method. Was only level 53 but had everything pumped into Stone.

I mean Wo Long will get progressively more difficult when DLC drops like Nioh so cheesing at that point is probably gunna be difficult
Also worth noting…get all the flags and up the morale to 25. Try doing this fight with 8 morale like I did and I felt it was impossible. Any misstep led to a one shot death. Once I hit morale 25, not even lubus red attacks could one shot me.
This not technical 'cheese' method. It still really hard. But. I have NO chance if I not stack Earth and have more damage on slab. This not a fight give confidence, get through game. I spend 2+ day on this fight. No use double or single summon, except to decide it better for me, no summon. I find it more difficult, worry about companion(s.) Good luck, if you enter gate, staring down Lu Bu,, and have no experience with him. This boss severe pain. I have like 4 percent health, as usual, but then I sense stagger. I get stagger. Critical hit him and then 2 lucky slab and he bend weapon with his halberd. One thing to note, when he on mount. Wait for deflect off charge and then spam slab. You'll see that off aerial deflect, you might only be able to land one slab. If you can get in 4 slab spam off charge deflect, it the difference between 10 percent off, when he do ground phase and 25 percent off.
Another tip always grind your morale (i think thats the name) back to 25 if you die to him...a pain but very necessary

Get good losers if you beat the boss this way you're missing out on one of the best boss fights You could ever play trust me beat him normally it's worth it

Yeah, why is he even watching this video…. 😅 Age old RPG strategy, use elements which bosses don’t like.
Took a few tries but this works you still have to learn to practice his timing so it’s not really a cheese it just makes it alot easier the trick is to be super aggressive especially on his horse phase just keep rushing him he’ll constantly stop to shoot arrows but you’ll be right behind him. Off the horse is a lot harder but same thing just be aggressive and also use the stone spirit.
Yup found the same thing. You can be super super aggressive with him and just gut your deflects and he’s no issue. There a couple long combos he does but you can get hit by one and get out of there if it’s hard to get the timing down
