You can just feel the excitement, the shaky hands, the eagerness to just rip the box apart. I was about to comment on the ridiculousness of buying a full set just to throw 99% of it in the trash, but when I heard the "she'll never know…" I knew this guy is a smart guy and a cool dad. Love your videos. You are amazing. You deserve a white pyramid tip ;)
Here we watch the wild lego builder tear apart its prey, harvesting but a single pair of treasured organs, before leaving what remains to its offspring. Disturbing, yet majestic.
Oh man, you are SO lucky to be getting this piece released in a color you need. I've been wanting this in red, but the last time we got that one was 21 years ago... Also this piece isn't listed on Bricklink from this particular set yet (at the time of typing), so the current listings are $5 and $92.74
The joy of finally getting ahold of a new piece of LEGO one has longed for for years! I'm still waiting for a smaller version of 35251 arched window. A 3x4x4 version instead of 6 bricks tall, so I can use it for some double decker train carts I've planned to build someday. Sadly lego hasn't made any modern counterparts to the window elements used in the old Club Car waggon 4547 set.
Just after I spent £30 on BrickLink on something I'm not even sure is actually LEGO®. (LEGO® produced a variety of pieces in special colors to use in Legoland models, but they were never included in official sets. Some those special pieces made it into the hands of collectors though.)
the part is not available on pick-a-brick, on brickowl, and it doesn't even have an entry in bricklink, since they havent still uploaded the inventory for the new set
Have you ever seen the animated film Pirates Band of Misfits? There's a scene in it where the Pirate Captain finally gets the pirate of the year award trophy with swelling music and gleaming light and I imagine thats kind of how you reacted finding this set 🤣
There have been a few times that Lego copped a design element from 3rd party. Poor kid... she's gonna have issues later in life when she finds out Daddy swapped that part on her first frozen set. 😂
They still use plastic on a lot of sets I believe, I've only seen one set with paper bags, but I don't know if that's because it was newly manufactured or not
@@truebluetom2Lego famously announced that they‘re transitioning to paper bags as a more environmentally friendly way of packaging. Which is nice and all (why not sooner??) - but they‘re still producing NEW sets with plastic bags. They announced this in 2020, five years ago.
Maggie's gonna take your job. She knows the intro. She can build with lego. Once she learns math it's over for you.
I'm choosing to belive one of the LEGO designers who was involved in the making of this set watches your videos and put this piece in just for you
I hope so lol
It’s at least more plausible than someone who claimed that he could walk on water and turn water into wine.
@@Ponk_80 keep religious opinions to yourself on Lego channels
@@designation7395 And you keep living in denial.
You can walk on water if it has studs on top.
Its always a joy when an old piece finally gets recolored to something youve wanted
Yes!

Thank you so much!
she's so cute man i wish a great life for you all
Thank you so much!
I've never seen grown man opening lego Disney set so passionately 🤣🤣
Disney adults?
@@shy_dodecahedron maybe, but they would more likely get something like the disney castle, not ~$30 playset
LOL the switcheroo
She only noticed after I showed her the video lol

Lmfao this is awesome!!!

It will get there soon I'm sure. I will keep my fingers crossed for red!
I am happy that my icy self helped you get the piece!
Lol thanks!

She is only 5 and will never know.
Until 5 years from now, youtube recommends the video to her.
Just after she found out Santa does not exist and the Easter bunny is fake. Her revenge will be horrific...
10 years later, the daughter is a purist, learns about that, does the switcheroo...
So glad I found this channel a few weeks ago!
Could you put a 1x1 cheese piece with all 4 sides to complete the point
No it looks terrible on top

To make it even worse for you Luca I ordered that order two days ago. Insanely fast lol. I don't know why your online PAB is so slow.
Let's hope this new recolor comes to the PAB site soon, for Maggie's sake 😂
the way you made sure to punch out that second thumb tab even though the box flap had already detached 😭
Have to lol
Parenting done correctly. ❤
Thanks lol
Anyone saying you will ruin the piece doenr understand that hydrogen peroxide doesn't damage plastic
All of this for the all mighty obelisk... I LOVE it :D

I appreciate the rest of the video, but a price tag of 30 for that set with 177 pieces is robbery.
Yep, but as long as people fall for it, why should they change it?
Yes I totally agree that set should be $20

Nice kid. She is too polite to mention that the two bricks in her set are the wrong color.
When she sees this video in 5 years..
Maggie's amazing :)

Adorable!
I wonder if the piece will be put up on pick a brick at any point.
Holy shit.
Let’s goooo- I got Chris to buy an actual set 😂
Bye Maggie!
You'd almost think Lego is suitable for children - away with those crazy notions!
How does a 2025 set still have plastic bags?
Do they not where you're from?
lolwut

Because they're just better
this one piece is real
Thank you lol
It's only "fake" if it says LEGO and isn't LEGO. :D
Why was I unsubscribed?? What?
i would not consider bricks from other manufacturers to be fake. the system brick patents of the lego group expired decades ago.
being a purist with lego is weird - that's just brand loyalty to overpriced products - why do people do that?
You did what?!? 😳😱🫣
Shocking! 😂
Should’ve gotten two… 😉😂
Ruthless 😂
Lol
