    In my dads 63 Galaxie he welded a period correct shifter handle with correct knob to the Hurst lower end and had the best of both worlds.
    Looks and function.

    How many people hit reverse when pulling it down to second?

      Reverse is left and up not down

      @@sidmelban4753 it's different depending on shifter. Hurst is left and up, original is left and down.

    Why would you remove a great Hurst shifter for a piece of junk factory shifter🤔 ?

      If you ask this you don't anderstand it. I love it original and it works great. Not as fast as the Hurst but fast enough.

      @@olipl1970 back in the day the stock four speed shifters were one of the first things that got replaced with a superior Hurst shifter but I hear where your coming from 👍 .
