I’ve noticed that builders and dwellers of tiny homes seem pleasantly relaxed and Happy. The circle game of working hard to pay the big mortgage so that you have something to show for working hard and paying the big mortgage kind of wears a person down. My future dream is to live tiny in some sort of boat. My hat is off to these talented designers and builders.
Greg Appelgren I think it's because they realize that's all that they need and are happy with so it makes no sense to get a typical sized home, leading to less stresses in their lives. I think, for one, it *does* attract a particular type of person. But, two, I think the simplicity just breeds contentment
This 56 yo grandmother agrees! I wish when I was a kid my parents had let me take shop like I wanted to. I need old lady shop! Where can I find one of those? :)
Do we ever grow up? When I was young I thought there really were adults; like at 24 I would be thought *I'm* absolutely an adult, I mean the gov. thinks so and all! But now that I've gotten older I realize that we're all just children in grown bodies, just without all the energy lol
This is a nice, simple build which for five thousand dollars for the complete shell is considerably more affordable to most people than anything else that I have seen. Buyers could simply use folding camping chairs, tables and beds together with plastic storage boxes, etc, to immediately benefit from using their new Travel Cabin and later self build out the interior at their own pace, or use wood cabinets, etc, for furniture.
Well. In the new normal, he'll sell you a finished one for less than $50,000! I doubt this 4 year old video has been or will be updated. I went to the website.
matt k I have thought of similarly attaching a cage for quail. They are off the ground, in a cage above where most dogs can get at them, provide eggs, easy to care for, right next to the door to keep an eye on.....now you travel with your fresh egg source.....and can easily set it up to remove whole cage for travel (set inside on a towel)....
Love this. I am building in a bed to my long awaited cabin (I'm not the most technical person and I was just thinking about the actual cabin build...I completely overlooked the logging, quarrying for stone for the mile and a half long road and the site I'm building on...Thank god for my nephew who can actually operate the excavator...I'm scared of it lol! And the sawmill) yeah so mine isn't so much like a vardo waggon but more like the two roomed croft houses they used to have in Scotland. The crofter and his wife would live in the one room where the cooking etc was done and the kids (and I believe. ..but don't quote me lol!) and some livestock in the other. ..the bed was built into the wall and curtained or cupboard doors to conceal it during the day. They had outhouses but I am going with the composting loo and a shower which is going to be a pretty basic camping type shower, I want to get a galvanised or copper tub and later I'm getting one of the 40 or 80 liter wood fired hot water cylinder which has a shower head and only costs about £150.00 GB. Of course to start with I've got a wood burning stove/cooker with oven and hotplates which will do most of the work until I save up more money for my solar/wind hybrid system and the water shower thing. The water can be heated in a kettle on the stove until then. I'm getting one of the little solar things that you can run some LED lights off but at first its going to be pretty basic , but having a smaller space that I can heat up quickly that's well insulated is my first priority, as I make jewellery I will have gas but I will only have a little two burner table top camping cooker so I can make a hot drink while I get the stove going. I'm too wary of condensation for any other gas appliances and most of my smelting will be done on the porch. I love the look of your tiny house but luckily I don't need wheels and the dimensions of my cabin is 20' x 12' with a sleeping and storage loft as well as my built in bed. I just can't wait. ..it seems like its taken forever but I will be in at the beginning of summer 2018 ....oh and the quarry is getting actual wildlife. ...frogs and newts and we'll plant it up with the correct water plants and we found these two amazing columns at a scrap yard and we're building a sauna overlooking the quarry which we want to stock up with fish and its going to be a proper Folly...that's something to look forward to as well. I will eventually stick up some videos as I am trying to overcome my aversion to hearing my voice or seeing myself lol...we'll see!
Foxiepaws ACAnderson Have you started construction yet? I was supposed to start construction this summer of my Thoreau cabin, but boss promoted me so I have to stick around three more years and can’t retire yet......ssssoooooo annoying.......may not get chance to build this summer..... I didn’t see any vids from you on your channel..... Good luck!
Sex Junkies on Heroin, sanitation...What do Sex Junkies on Heroin do after they've done it? They crap in buckets and throw the contents of the buckets out a window when nobody's watching.

I tried to pull up tinyindustrial.com, but got the message that the server couldn't be found.
Hmm....that's strange. Your link doesn't work but, the site is up at www.tinyindustrial.com. I'll check on the need for 'www' on the site.
