I love the way that you are making the outside of the caravan look even more beautiful

I love the door and window that you just attached to the caravan
Wow this video of this man building a gypsy caravan is doing an awesome job of building it on his farm.Nice to see what it will look like when it is fully built
I love and enjoy watching your video of you building your gypsy caravan
Nothing short of amazing. Nicely done. Thank you for this.
I'm stunned. I'm going to fix popcorn and watch this again! This is art. Amazing skill.
I want it.🎉
Oh, and let's not overlook the fact that this is excellent production.
I'm retired radio/tv. I'm very impressed on multiple levels.
It just may be....magic!
@Paparoxx Thanks Jimmy, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
I made campfire popcorn last weekend. Turned out a treat 👍
You are a creative genius. My inspirational hero. I have seen a lot of gypsy build videos, but only the beautiful Aussies could show us how it's rightly done. Loved the lion gutter spitters. Lol. Functional yet dramatic. The front door and screen door made me want to melt from beauty. When you cut that marble sink, I was on the edge of my seat. It was like watching a plastic surgery on a girl whose already pretty. Lol. But, you are a genius, so I eventually learned to trust the method to your madness. Loved the hide away screens on windows. And you were so compassionate to shape that dinner table. I hate hard edged. Hit too many of them in my time. Lol. Loved you air guitar and drumming work. You are a classy, down to earth act, all in one. Just subscribed. Can't wait to watch more. Greetings from Cajun land South Louisiana. Ps. I pray you get your log cabin soon enough. I would build a big one, and park your gypsy wagon in the living room But, that's just me. Ok. Enough chin wagging here. Later, later❤😊
This has inspired me to buy an 1850's dilapidated wagon and ATTEMP to follow your lead to build a Vardo for my two precious tiny granddaughters to play in (and me!!!) 🤩 I'm SO EXCITED!!!
Lower craftsmanship is amazing!
I love the paint colors that you painted on the gypsy caravan, really beautiful
Great job. It's beautiful. It's the nicest Gypsy wagon I've seen.
That wagon is BEAUTIFUL 💖
You have created a work of art to camp in. Not sure I would take it on the highway but it is a beautiful well built work of art, that is functional as well as pretty.
Awesome. You are one talented and gifted man!! Love it!! Fantastic job. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent build! So impressed and superb use of reclaimed materials . Thank you for sharing it with us
You nailed in between functionality and ambience.
Absolutely wonderful! Well done 👏
Unbelievable. You are really skilled.
Well done. Very cool 😎 Thanks
I’ve shared this with a couple of interested friends.
Maybe they’ll watch the entire series as well.
Happy trails, stay free 🙏
Great video 😊
❤ Beautiful Baby... Job well done ❤
❤ Beautiful little wanderer. You put such craftsmanship in. I loved the pretty bobbles and the authentic look of beg borrowed and bartered items. Bravo!! Something that I've wanted also.
I’m in love. I realized through watching this that I could fall in love with a man who has such passion. Not only the woodworking but your keen eye and planning of the videography. I’m sure this was a hobby, and you planned and executed ALL this probably while working full time and being present for your family. That’s the kind of man I see myself sharing a life with. Thank you for showing me/ us your heart 💜 ❤!
Thank you Tina. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
There was sporadic work in and around the wagon build, but mostly I chose ( probably not the best financial decision ), to not earn while over spending what I had! As a result, I'm almost back to full time work to make up for it! It is a hobby...a very enjoyable one...I'm still trying to work out how to make financially rewarding. 🙂
Just perfect! Absolutely gorgeous ❤️
You have made something so beautiful. And been an inspiration. Given me some ideas as well. Just realised you must be an Aussie.. love it.
Stunning! You are true Master Craftsman and Majorly Talented Artist! Those you chose to emulate would be proud & I think you have exceeded their creativity ;o)
You remind me of Sam Elliott from Road House❤

A true craftsman. Thank you for sharing this video. 😊❤😊 This is so detailed. So beautiful.
Parabéns pelo capricho. 🇧🇷
Amazing craftsmanship attention to detail is astonishing. Really beautiful. Well done
Oh my gosh! I am so glad I found this video! I am thinking about building a gypsy wagon and wanted to find a tutorial. None of them matched my vision for what I wanted until I watched yours! Each time you did something that I had in mind for my wagon, I was moved ( the spindles, the upcycled cabinets, pained windows, shutters, and gingerbread). Each time you came up with something more amazing, I just giggled. Congratulations on your endeavor and a job well done! I also enjoyed the folk/bluegrass music. Thanks for posting! Is there any chance you will do an in-depth tutorial on another build like this?
Glad you enjoyed it Maureen 🙂
Unfortunately I won't be doing any kind of tutorial video on it. I haven't ruled out doing a similar project to this in the future, but I sort of follow an approach of doing something different each time, which keeps life interesting and spontaneous. 🙂
I get that. I'm looking forward to watching more videos. I'm hoping to attempt a gypsy wagon build of my own too.
Make these towable like any caravan (compromise a bit on fittings and build for weight) and I can tell you now many of the older women travelling, due to the housing situation in this country, would very happily pay for such a 'home' on wheels.
It could relatively easily be lifted from the under carriage and placed onto a compliant, towable trailer no problem. 👍
I love it!! The man has style!! Good job! 👍
I admire your work....excellent😊..... greetings from Slovenia!
You did a great job. It's a piece of art! 👍
EXQUISITE!!!❤️❤️
Not only are you doing a beautiful vardo but you have a delica as well ....... Im missing the wagon.
Truly "A Labor Of Love"! Thank You For Sharing! Where are you located, I have never even seen some of those species of birds!
Just Truly a Wonderful project! ❤❤
Thanks for watching 🙂
I'm located in the Gippsland region of Victoria Australia. A great area.
Wonderful craftsmanship. Too bad you are not in Quebec Canada I would certainly commission one.
Thank you Lyn 🙂 It would take me twice as long because I'd be too distracted by Canada's scenery!
so you said your original inspiration was the painting. what sparked the 'now'? i was laughing @ the rain gutters, but what a great rain water catch system! thanks for this :)
How long did it take you to finish building your gypsy caravan?Wow it is beautiful inside and outside of your caravan, well done
Thank you Kim, glad you enjoyed it.🙂
It took me about a year and a half in total, but peppered with occasional breaks away from it.
well, it seems like something you have been thinking about for perhaps years? so did you just come upon the wheels and know it was time to start the project? or was it a short trajectory from idea to implementation? - & savage skill set dude!!
@cindyglazzard I get ya now. A bit of both. Have always loved gypsy wagons and the idea of one day building one, but it was never a solid plan, until...the carriage and wheels appeared on facebook marketplace at a price that wasn't too oppressive. Then the idea of building one went into overdrive, I just had to get it! Then I just made the rest up from imagination helped by multiple picture examples. 🙂
It’s great. Me personally do not like the scroll painting you added. I think it looks shabby
Okay
How do you make the wood curvy for the roof
I basically cut the shape from plyboard. Check out Part 5 of the Wagon build series for greater detail. 🙂
How can you hook up a horse to pull?
It's a faux shaft, I only put it together for aesthetics or to complete the look. However, I have no doubt that a person in the know would be able to rig it for a horse. Mind you, it's a heavy duty wagon not suitable to a single horse, so again, a person in the know could rig the right kind of set up for 2 or more horses.
Are the nails in the gun stainless steel
Galvanised nails in the gun. A mixture of Gal and Stainless as far as screws used throughout the build.
I am impressed and amazed the way that you are building this caravan, the workmanship of building this caravan is so awesome to watch you build it from start to fully being completed
