Sounds a lot like Art Therapy! You are doing important and compassionate work that the world definitely needs. Very affirming and inspiring for me as an artist and an Art Therapist!!!

Nick and Adam, Thank you. I am new to the Art2Life Academy. I’ve been practicing art over the past 7 years and started in my late 50’s. Nick, great interview. Your questions were asked as if they were my own. Just wonderful. Adam, listening to your journey fills my heart with joy. I will be sure to follow you.

Blown away by Adam's want to make people feel seen and heard through being creative in a community setting.
I've tried to do this in our town, but the art space sits empty everyday with 140 seats and 4 large studios with white tables.
They don't want any riff raff and have no idea how much people need to make art and feel connected.
I'm a disabled person but I'm going to try a different way to get funding and supplies, so I can get this town more positive and happier.

    You are both so inspiring!!😊

Thanks Nick, for bringing Adam on to your podcast, and Adam, love your business model. I've done similar work with medical students on a small scale, and I hear again and again how transformative it can be. Unlocking creativity to find out more about ourselves and "be seen, heard and understood" in addition to relationship building, collaboration and idea generation ... doesn't get any better than that. Inspiring conversation. Thank you!

Loved watching the paintings develop as you were having a conversation. 🤩

Hey Nic ! I've been following your podcast for about as long as they've been out and really enjoy them. I just recently started painting along with you during these episodes and I noticed that I tend to get more out of my head when listening to you and your guest . I've taken several of your classes and you've done more for me than any one else. Thanks so much !

We all think that the thing Americans love to do the most is talk.

How do you get that electric blue. Yes if you are not a very creative artist yes they are smart to do collaborations. And seeing his art I think he needs to. The guy with the hat

I do art for myself…it’s nice when people “get” me, but I don’t care about it for the most part

It's quite likely that introverted artists have a different experience than extraverted artists do. While I create art for myself first, I do want to communicate with others through my art, I want others to enjoy it and it's great if they buy it because then I can afford to buy more supplies! However, the idea hanging out in groups making art together is not appealing to me at all. I love my alone time, lost in my art process. Making art is personal and private for me, however a cup of coffee and another artist to chat with about art sounds good to me.

Ive done collobarations and trust me it turned out a big mess. Its ok like the old masters did that they composed and the others coloured in. I think people are just desperate to find something new in art that will sell they will try anything. Tim I think you are great with colour but I feel you need to add maybe something realistic on top of this. Brian Rutenberg is a classic example that uses out of focus and his use of colour. But I feel he is stuck with his trees. And they are beginning to all look the same. He has to be careful he lessens his value by creating too many that look similiar. Im from Oz and I love John Olsen

See this guy is drawing rather than just talking. Please just do your art and let your art do the talking. Yes us artists have been powerless in the family. This is our way of getting our power back through painting. How can I send you my art. I just know it will be valuable for a reason I cant say at the moment. God speaks to us through words paintings and music. Satan also uses people and Picasso was prolific but his idea of women was not godly. That guy is a real artist
