theres more gone into oliver than any other movie, tale of two cities is also class, not forgetting the greatest western ever made, once upon a time in the west

Jack Wild and Ron Moody were both nominated for best supporting actor and best actor respectively but did not win. The winners in those two categories - for the films of 1968 - were Jack Albertson and Cliff Robertson. Jack Wild looked about 12 but was pushing 17 when filming began.

This was the ONLY G-rated movie to win Best Picture. The MPAA rating system was officially rolled out shortly before this movie was produced.

Jack Wild did not win the Oscar that year. Jack Albertson won the best supporting actor award for the subject with roses that year.

I have unfortunately ever seen any adaptation of Oliver…other than Oliver and Company 🤪🤪🤪
