T is for traction control , google , as important as ABS and I think a Honda first on a scooter. Traction balances rotation of each wheel. ABS means brakes wont lock up. The A is idling cut out , the default position is ON , which means when the bike is stopped , say at traffic lights , the engine will cut out to save fuel. When you twist the throttle again it will start and move off instantly because it works from the alternator not the starter motor. Another Honda first. I have this bike a 2022 model here in France . Im 80 years. The best machine Ive ever owned in my life. Love it . Enjoy.

Paid my deposit to my honda dealer 3 months ago but honda pcx 2021 still haven't arrived in the UK yet but rest of Europe it has arrived. 🤔

Hang in there, mine was ordered back in early February and arrived at the dealer a few days ago (in UK). I collect after all the paperwork/checks have taken place on 29th April. Can't wait!

Thank you! The rear disk brake is standard these days for the newer PCX.
I have two (1x 2015mod, 1x 2017 mod). In fact, so cheap fuel consumption, so agility, so low exhaust sound, so low weight : beter than my Forza 300 2019 mod. I like my Forza 300 on highways but I love my PCX in the city ( like a border collie into sheep herd).😛✌️

Great feature is the rear brake disk, in europe the PCX doesn't have brake disc, is by drum.
But at least it has the combi brakes right?
The NEW japanese version got rid of it, so there is no longer "braking with one hand".
@@hidazip That's correct, combi brakes.
Japanese version won having ABS at the 2 wheels. But, is a great scooter, maybe the best of the market.
@@GoFilipe81 Sadly, the ABS is only for the front wheel. But the traction control helps, so it wont slip.

This is a really nice colour. I purchased a pcx yesterday here in Germany, also in black. But in Germany they only sell the pcx in matt black which is a shame. Still excited though

I had a 2018 pearl white . Then bought a 2022 here in France wanted a white but they only had matt black in stock here in France . But it looks fantastic you wont be disappointed I promise. I then discovered this matt black seems to throw off the dirt , hardly need to wash it.
@columbmurray swapped the pcx for a matt black cb500x by now. Not disappointed with the colour at all. Looks great

Good overview of the features 👍🏼 I rode the PCX a lot when I lived in Asia. Great scooter! Now that I’m back in the States, I’m gonna buy one as my daily commuter. Amazing gas mileage & nice under-seat storage make it perfect for around town & city riding, but it can also handle longer rides too. 🛵 💨

If you loose your key, you can't get under your seat to the secret key compartment
Correct unless you lose your spare key as well. However there is always a way to get under the seat.

Bought a 2023 pcx and regret it, the bike was new, the problem is when im riding straight the handle seems to be pointing a bit to the right, it also feels like the bikes leaning to the right when going straight.
Sorry to hear that! You should take it back to the dealership and get it checked.
May we know the power of engine is this 150cc of Honda PCX!? The size of body built is very ideal easy to maneuver not too heavy!!

On my PCX 2015 model, engine couple is 12 Nm at 5000 rpm and not like PCX 2021 11,8 Nm at 6500 rpm. Mod 2015 is beter for 2,1-2,3 l/100km max.

Does the compartment with the usb c charger lock when you lock the handle bars ? Or is that only on the forza
The compartment does not lock. However when you have turn off the engine, you will not be able to charge from the C charger.
Love it but is the steering wheel not a bit '80s. Pitty that they dIdn't cover up those cables like the Yamaha NMAX. Otherwise a perfect scooter!
That the appeal to most people they like that style plus it's a signature mark of the pcx
Just bought this and your comment made me laugh, i didnt realize it but i totally agree with you. its a amazing machine so far but couldn't put my finger on the old school feel of exposed wires. they ARE sooooo dated. but i still think its a incredible machine!

I am confused. Is the 2021 model of the PCX 125cc or 150cc or 160cc????? I am from the USA. It's confusing.

Go for 150! More speed and you can ride it on the highway.
I bought a new PCX 125 a month ago in Japan, I ride 600km but I notice from beginning a lot of vibration when it's idlin, especially on the handlebar, and more when the front brake is pressed.
I owned a 2015 version and I have not notice this vibration. Is it the same with yours ?
I ask the retailer when I went for the 1 month maintenance, but they just said that is normal don't worry. I have also brake oil level under the lower position, but for them it's normal ... I insisted to add some oil, they finally did it. Since that I don't trust them ...
By the way, do you know what is the electronic noise from front of the bike when we starting to move (0-10km/h), same noise produce when I bump on the road.

I just discovered your message and I am very sorry for not getting back to you earlier! You mentioned electronic noise, I have not heard that before! So you went to your dealer for a checkup and they said that it was nothing to worry about? I own a 2021 PCX and had a 2014 model before and never noticed that sound you are concerned about. The only possible sound that I can think of is when you go over a bump such as leaving a parking lot going onto an uneven surface, that will trigger a strange sound. I don't know the exact answer to this but I believe the scooter is recalibrating it's shocks or electric system. I goes away right after. As for the oil, your dealer may give you free oil or say that you have enough because they want to save time. Adding oil for them means they need to flush out the old oil and put in new oil. They follow a schedule due to how new your bike is. I hope this has helped you. Since you live in Japan, please check out my other YT channel called WOW THAT'S JAPAN 2.

I've got a 2018 pcx, I'm thinking about getting this. My only thing is I'd the steering lock?? Can you take it off without the key been in range, so anyone can take it off and push it away??
No key has to be within range

The 2021 PCX uses a smart key and once the steering is in locked position, there is no way to move the position without the smart key being in range . I should say that when the steering isn’t locked and let’s say that the smart key is out of range, The bike itself is heavy to push forward! Not only due to the weight but because of the activation which releases the brake. I think this version of PCX is the best!

Is it possible to remove the back rest keeping the silver holding bars, and attatch a box on top of it?
Of course it is! The back rest was optional so if you don't want it, you can put something else in it's place.

Il y a une ouverture près du guidon qui permet à l’eau de passer sans affecter le guidon.

Does it has rear disc brake ? The PCX available in Greece has rear drum, not a disc break. In which country is rear disc brake available ?????

I got the Honda bike shop to remove the back guard from my old PCX to my new one. I bought the back guard and my old pcx from a different Honda bike shop.

On UA-cam and in Europe and in England pcx 125cc rear break is drum break. No Disc unless your pcx is a 160cc
@@therocket1476 I purchased a 2021 Honda PCX 125cc in Japan The Honda bike dealer and their mechanic told me that there are two discs n the 125cc. The front has ABS and the back has Traction control.
